Video: 2-day spring Nor'easter moves in - Duration: 3:09.ANTOINETTE: WE ARE ALL GETTING
AN EDUCATION.
CINDY: ON THE LAST DAY OF MARCH.
WE ARE TALKING A SPRING
NOR'EASTER.
INCLUDING STRONG WINDS AT THE
COAST AND THE RISK OF POWER
OUTAGES.
WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THIS HEAVY
AND WET SNOW THAT WEIGHS DOWN ON
THE POWER LINES.
A LOW TO MODERATE RISK THAT WE
WILL SEE SCATTERED OUTAGES
ESPECIALLY NORTH AND ALONG THE
PIKE WHERE WE WILL SEE THE
HEAVIEST SNOW.
A WINTER STORM WINNING IN AREAS
IN PINK.
AND A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY
SOUTH OF THE PIKE.
THIS IS THROUGH TODAY AND UNTIL
TOMORROW AFTERNOON.
HIGHEST SNOW TOTALS WHERE WE
COULD SEE AS MUCH AS EIGHT
INCHES IS FOCUSED ALONG ROUTE
TWO.
JUST A LONG AND NORTH OF THE
PIKE, FOUR-EIGHT INCHES OF SNOW
AND SLEET.
IF YOU GET MORE SLEET, YOU ARE
ON THE LOWER END OF THE RANGE.
ONCE YOU GET SOUTH OF BOSTON,
SOUTH SHORE BACK TOWARDS
PROVIDENCE, 2-4 INCH SLOP.
MOST OF WHICH WILL GET WASHED
AWAY A LONG THE CAPE.
A WIND ADVISORY.
WE ARE WATCHING THE HIGH TIDES
FOR TOMORROW.
3:00 A.M. AND 3:30 P.M. -- MINOR
POCKETS OF FLOODING POSSIBLE.
RADAR ARE READY PICKING UP ON
SOME LIGHTER SNOW.
VISIBILITY NOT AN ISSUE AT ALL.
IF YOU FLAKES HAVE REACHED THE
GROUND IN THE BERKSHIRES.
MID-UPPER 30'S.
TEMPERATURES WILL HOLD STEADY
THROUGH THE DATE -- THROUGH THE
DAY.
THE MAIN STORM IS BACK HERE.
AND THIS AREA OF LOW PRESSURE
WILL SHIFT EASTWARDS TONIGHT.
AS IT DOES, IT WILL INTENSIFY.
AS IT PASSES TO OUR SOUTH, IT
WILL BRING IN WARMER AIR TO THE
LOWER LEVELS OF THE ATMOSPHERE.
WE WILL FLIP THINGS OVER TO SOME
HEAVIER PRECIPITATION TONIGHT
AND GO BACK TO SNOW TOMORROW.
IT IS A MESS.
THROUGH NOONTIME, THE ACTIVITY
IS WORCESTER AND WESTERN.
-- AND WESTWARD.
LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE
SUNSHINE GOES DOWN UNTIL
MIDNIGHT.
THE SNOW AREA WILL EXPAND AND
GET HEAVIER.
IT WILL ACCUMULATE.
SLEET AND RAIN START TO LIFT
NORTHWARD TOMORROW MORNING.
STILL SNOWING NORTH AND WEST OF
TOWN AND THE SNOW WILL BE WITH
US THROUGH NOON TOMORROW.
THIS IS A DRAWN OUT STORM IN THE
NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.
IN THE 30'S TODAY AND TOMORROW
WITH GUSTY ARE WINDS ON
SATURDAY.
SUNDAY, THE STORM IS GONE AND
THE SUNSHINE RETURNS.
LOOKS FINE FOR THE HOME OPENER
AT FENWAY.
IN THE 40'S NEXT WEEK WITH MORE
RAIN.
ALL OF THIS GREAT NEWS.

Video: Snow, sleet and rain Friday (3-31-17) - Duration: 2:57.ORT
AND LONG-TERM.
ANNOUNCER: NOW, FIRST ALERT
WEATHER WITH METEOROLOGIST TYLER
JANKOSKI.
TYLE GOOD MORNING.
5:45 ON THIS FRIDAY MORNING.
GOT A REPORT FROM WESTOVER,
INDICATING SNOW HAVE STARTED TO
FALL AND IS COVERING THE ROADS,
OR AT LEAST HIS TRUCK.
THIS IS AN ASSOCIATION OF THE
DARKER BLUE YOU SEE HERE.
IT IS STARTING TO GET INTO
RUTLAND COUNTY AND THE
SPRINGFIELD AREA.
IT IS LISTING IN THAT DIRECTION.
THAT IS WHERE IT IS SNOWING NOW.
IT IS NOT QUITE SNOWING YET IN
THE CHAMPLAIN VALLEY.
THERE IS A WINTER STORM WARNING
FOR THE SPINE OF THE GREEN
MOUNTAINS AND POINT EASTWARD,
INCLUDING THE ENTIRE CONNECTICUT
RIVER VALLEY.
WE ALSO HAVE A WINTER WEATHER
ADVISORY IN PURPLE FOR PORTIONS
OF NORTHERN NEW YORK AND TO
NORTHERN VERMONT IN THE
CHAMPLAIN VALLEY.
THAT IS WHERE LESS SNOW IS
EXPECTED AS A RESULT OF A LITTLE
MORE MIXING AND A LITTLE HIGHER
TEMPERATURES.
FUTURECAST SHOWS SNOW SLOWLY
ADVANCING NORTH AND EAST.
I THINK THE SNOW AND RAIN MAKES
INTO THE CHAMPLAIN VALLEY LATER
THIS MORNING.
BY 12:00, IT IS INTO THE
CANADIAN BORDER.
THE NORTHEAST KINGDOM TAKES A
LITTLE LONGER THAN THAT CDC
PLENTY OF GREEN, ESPECIALLY --
NORTHEAST KINGDOM TAKES A LITTLE
LONGER THEN THAT.
YOU SEE PLENTY OF GREEN.
THE TREND OVERNIGHT IS FOR MORE
SNOW AND LESS MIXING.
SLEEP IS STILL A POSSIBILITY
OVERNIGHT.
MOST SNOW WILL BE IN THE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS OF SOUTHERN VERMONT,
EXTENDING EAST INTO NEW
HAMPSHIRE THIS FINALLY WRAPS UP
TOMORROW AFTERNOON.
IT IS A LONG DURATION OF EVENT.
I THINK A GOOD AMOUNT OF THIS
ACCUMULATION WILL BE AT NIGHT.
WHEN TEMPERATURES ARE JUST A
LITTLE LOWER, CLOSER TO
FREEZING.
SIX TO 12 INCHES OF WHAT SNOW IN
THE SOUTHEASTERN ADIRONDACKS,
ESSEX COUNTY.
SIX TO 12 INCHES IN MONTPELIER
AND POINTS SOUTH AND EAST,
INCLUDING IN THE CONNETICUT
RIVER VALLEY, GOING DOWN TO JUST
ABOUT THE MASSACHUSETTS BORDER.
IN THE ST. LAWRENCE VALLEY, IT
IS LESS THAN THREE INCHES.
A LOT OF RAIN AND SLEET MIXING
IN THERE.
GOING FORWARD, WE FELT A LOT OF
THE NEW SNOW ON SUNDAY.
NEAR 50.
NEW 50 ON MONDAY AS WELL.
THEN IT TURNS UNSETTLED AGAIN
TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND
