Body, you're a boy make a big noise. Playing in the street, gonna be a big man some day

You got mud on your face, you big disgrace.

Kicking your can all over the place

Singing, we will, we will rock you

We will, we will rock you

Body your a young man, hard man.

Shouting in the street "gonna take on the world someday"

You got blood on your face,

You big disgrace,

Waving your flannel all over the place

We will, we will rock you

We will, we will rock you

Body you're a old man, hard man

You're playing with your eyes

Gonna make there some peace someday

You got mud on your face,

big disgrace

Somebody better put your bag into your place

We will, we will rock you

Sing it

We will, we will rock you

Everybody. We will, we will rock you

We will , we will rock you

Hello, my first question is in my own experience. What does society think of people with disabilities in

my personal experience

Society generally sees people with disabilities as incapable of doing what normal people can an

Example is that there aren't enough funds to

properly educate people with disabilities and

enough funds for vocational training and this might mean

That majority people think that this isn't funding these programs isn't important enough

Or that it's pointless because they're not capable to learn or to achieve something once

They're out of that training

and

I strongly disagree with this because my sister graduated with a young lady that was

Deaf but she learned how to speak and she also could understand other people by reading lips

There's to me pros that people with disability especially what deaf or hard-of-hearing

are capable to achieve things that everybody else can and

Her whole career she was with with her students in the same classroom?

so that

To me proves that they are able to do it

We talked to my second question

Another minority status I can compare the hard of hearing or deaf a minority to and I believe that

This compares to how white's oppressed blacks back in the day. They

Did not give him the same opportunity within education or within the working field

but once they were given equal rights they proved to everybody that they were capable of

achieving the same the same things within education and within jobs within politics as

Any other race?

So I believe that these people

Such as this young lady if given the proper training the proper education the proper tools and the proper support

They to can prove that they can achieve and they can function within our community just like everybody else

Maybe differently in their own special way, but still functional and still capable I

Believe that our flaws and our abilities and our disabilities

Are different and unique to each one of us

Uniqueness and different ness isn't bad, or isn't wrong

there are people out there that are afraid of different and uniqueness because it threatens their personalized ideology of

levels of Social status and it in Dangers their

The power they have entitled themselves to for no reason

A 27 YEAR POLICE VETERAN HAS BEEN FIRED FROM CALLED COUNTY

GEORGIA AFTER HE WAS CAUGHT ON ñ CAMP SURVEILLANCE SAYING

SOMETHING THAT SHOULD SHOCK AND UPSET MOST AMERICANS.

I DON'T WANT TO GIVE TOO MUCH AWAY, BUT BEFORE WE GO TO

THE VIDEO SHOWING WHAT HE SAID, LET ME GIVE YOU SOME CONTEXT.

HE APPARENTLY PULLED OVER A FEMALE DRIVER FOR A ROUTINE

TRAFFIC STOP.

THERE WAS SOME SORT OF TRAFFIC VIOLATION AND APPARENTLY

THE WOMAN WAS AFRAID TO MOVE HER HANDS OR PUT HER HANDS DOWN

BECAUSE SHE WAS FEARFUL THAT ANY SUDDEN MOVEMENT WOULD

RESULT IN HER GETTING SHOT.

HIS REACTION TO HER REFUSING TO DO AS HE SAID IS WHAT

EVENTUALLY GOT HIM FIRED.

TAKE A LOOK.

WHY CAN'T YOU?

BECAUSE.

USE YOUR PHONE.

ITíS RIGHT THERE.

I JUST DON'T WANT PUT MY HANDS DOWN.

IíM REALLY SORRY.

I'M JUST -

YOU'RE JUST REALLY DRUNK.

NO, NO, NO.

I'VE JUST BEEN WAY TOO MANY VIDEOS OF OFFICERS -

YOUíRE NOT BLACK.

REMEMBER, WE ONLY KILL BLACK PEOPLE.

YEAH WE ONLY KILL BLACK PEOPLE, ALL THE VIDEOS

YOUíVE SEEN, HAVE YOU SEEN BLACK PEOPLE GET KILLED.

YOU HAVE.

SEEN THEIR FACES.

YEAH.

OKAY.

I'M NOT SAYING YOUíRE A BAD COP.

RIGHT.

THE COP IN THE VIDEO IS OR WAS POLICE LIEUTENANT GREG ABBOTT.

THAT'S HIS NAME WHICH IS KIND OF AMAZING.

HE HAS BEEN FIRED AND THAT IS ACCORDING TO THE POLICE CHIEF IN

COBB COUNTY WHO GAVE A PRESS CONFERENCE TODAY AND HE DID

HAVE SOME STRONG WORDS FOR HIM AS WELL.

1ST, LET'S GO TO THE POLICE OFFICERS LAWYER WHO CLAIMS:

MIKE REGISTER, THE POLICE CHIEF OF COBB COUNTY SAYS:

IF YOU BELIEVE IN RESPECTING THE POLICE, I'M POSITIVE YOU

ARE GOING TO RESPECT THE DECISION OF THE POLICE

CHIEF THAT THIS MAN SHOULD BE FIRED.

1ST OF ALL, I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S IN ABBOTT'S HEAD.

I DON'T KNOW IF HE WAS SAYING THAT JUST RE-FORWARD.

THAT'S WHAT WE DO.

WE SHOOT BLACK PEOPLE.

WHY WOULD WE SHOOT YOU?

OR IF HE MEANT IT AS, YOU SAW THE VIDEOS ONLINE.

YOU SAW THE VIDEOS.

THOSE ARE THE ONES THAT CLAIMING WE ONLY SHOOT BLACK PEOPLE.

WHAT ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT?

WE ONLY SAW BLACK PEOPLE SHOT.

HE MIGHT'VE MEANT IT THAT WAY.

THAT IS WHY THE POLICE CHIEF DOING WHAT HE DID IS A HUGE

INDICATOR BECAUSE IT MIGHT BE THAT HE WAS LIKE, IF YOU'RE

BEING THE MOST GENEROUS TO HIM YOU MIGHT SAY THE POLICE

CHIEF IS LIKE THIS IS BAD PR.

A DEAL WITH THAT.

ANOTHER POSSIBILITY IS LOOK, EVEN IF THE GUY DIDN'T MEAN

IT THAT WAY, WE CAN'T HAVE PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTY THINKING

THAT WE ARE GOING TO APPLY JUSTICE DIFFERENTLY TO DIFFERENT

RACES AND HAVE THIS IDEA OUT THERE THAT THERE ARE COPS

THAT THINK KNOW, DON'T WORRY, IF YOU ARE WHY YOU ARE FINE.

BUT WE WILL SHE BLACK PEOPLE.

THE THIRD POSSIBILITY IS HE TALKED ABERRANT AND IS

LIKE, THIS IS A BAD DUDE.

HE DIDN'T MEAN IT AND I HAVE TO GET RID OF THEM.

HE DIDN'T GIVE EXACT REASONS OTHER THAN WHAT ANA JUST

READ YOU BUT THE FACT THAT HE DID TAKE THAT ACTION IS

CLEARLY INDICATIVE.

RIGHT, NONE OF US CAN SAY FOR CERTAIN WHAT'S IN THAT

POLICE LIEUTENANT'S HEAD AS HE'S MAKING THE STATEMENT.

SOME OF ARGUED THAT HE WAS HIS BEINGS ARE CASTAIC BUT

THOSE ARE NOT THE TYPES OF STATEMENTS YOU MAKE

CONSIDERING THE TYPE OF CLIMATE THAT WE ARE LIVING IN RIGHT

NOW, CONSIDERING THE TYPES OF DEBATES THAT ARE GOING ON

IN THE COUNTRY REGARDING POLICE VIOLENCE AND EXCESSIVE

FORCE AND SO IT WAS A BAD MOVE ON HIS PART.

BUT I THINK THERE'S ANOTHER COMPONENTS OF THAT VIDEO THAT

SHOULD CONCERN YOU AND I THINK IT IS TELLING TO SAY THE LEAST.

THE WOMAN WHO WAS PULLED OVER FOR THAT TRAFFIC STOP WAS A

WHITE WOMAN AND SHE WAS FEARFUL OF THE COP.

SHE DID NOT TRUST THE COP.

SHE WAS WORRIED THAT HE WASN'T THERE TO PROTECT HER OR TO

PROTECT AND SERVE AND SO THINK ABOUT THAT TYPE OF CLIMATE THAT

EXISTS IN THE UNITED STATES WHERE THE PEOPLE THAT WE HIRE AS

POLICE OFFICERS THAT WE PAY WITH OUR TAXPAYER MONEY ARE

INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE NO LONGER TRUSTED BECAUSE OF WHAT WERE

SEEING IN THE MEDIA, BECAUSE OF WHAT WERE SAYING WITH ALL OF

THESE POLICE SHOOTINGS WERE UNEARNED PEOPLE GET GUN DOWN.

I WOULD BE AFRAID AS WELL.

THAT IS SOMETHING THAT EVERYONE SHOULD TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION.

IF WE WANT THE FEELINGS TOWARD COPS TO CHANGE THEN

OBVIOUSLY THE TRAINING NEEDS TO CHANGE.

THE TYPE OF RHETORIC WE HEAR FROM COPS NEEDS TO CHANGE.

THERE NEEDS TO BE AN ENTIRE REFORM FOR THINGS TO CHANGE.

IT'S POSSIBLE THAT SHE HAD BEEN DOING SOMETHING WRONG,

SPEEDING, JERKING AND DRIVING.

WE DON'T KNOW THE CONTEXT BUT THE CONTEXT OVERALL FOR THE

COUNTRY IS ONE THE ANA JUST DESCRIBED.

IT'S DISPROPORTIONALLY AFRICAN-AMERICANS AS THE STATS

BEAR OUT BUT TO WHY PEOPLE GET SHOT BY COPS FOR HAVING A

SLIGHT WRONG REACTION IN A NANOSECOND?

A COURSE WE KNOW THE HAPPENS.

IN MINNESOTA THAT MOM GOT SHOT WHEN SHE CALLED FOR HELP

FROM THE COPS, WHITE WOMAN THERE.

YOU HAD THE WHITE GUY IN MIAMI, YOU'RE THE WHITE GUY WHO

CAME OUT OF THE CAR AFTER HE WAS ON A HIGH-SPEED CHASE.

OF COURSE WHY UNARMED PEOPLE ALSO GET SHOT AND FOR THE

HUNDREDTH TIME IN A ROW, IT'S THE TRAINING WHERE WE TOLD THE

COPS IF YOU ARE EVEN 1% AFRAID OF ANYTHING.

IF THEY MOVE THEIR HANDS UP OR DOWN PUT THEM DOWN.

NOW WE ARE ALL GENERATE.

ANYTIME WE GET PULLED OVER BY COMPANY GIVES YOU DIRECTIONS

ON WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR HANDS, THERE IS SOME REASONABLE

FEAR OF WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN NEXT AND THE WAY THE RELAY THAT PHIL

IS NOT TO TELL HER DON'T WORRY WE ONLY SHOOT BLACK PEOPLE.

AT A MINIMUM, THAT IS INCREDIBLY POOR JUDGMENT.

Fast Forward Video Strategy | Episode 1 - Aligning Your Video With Your Strategy - Duration: 8:24.

hello everybody I'm Jason Cormier I'm one of the co-founders of Room 214 a

digital marketing and social media agency and with me today is Michael

Kwolek who is the Director of Strategic Insights for Room 214. We're here today

to talk about video and what we're calling the fast-forward video strategy

series. There's going to be some great resources here for you. Templates,

articles, and three more videos to follow definitely take the time right now just

to head over to room214.co/fastforward. That's room214.co/fastforward

Sign up so that you get access to the series that will follow

along with the resources via email straight to your inbox. So to get us

started we're going to talk a little bit about video today. I've got some quick

questions to fire your way. Why does approaching video content

strategically even matter? Yeah well I think if we start by thinking about some

stats that HubSpot has put out recently from a survey, over half of marketers say

that video is the most valuable asset when it comes to ROI and brands who use

video say they grow revenue 49 percent faster than those that don't.

So we think about how much impact video can really have that's a great place to

think about okay how do we do this right. You want to really start with intention.

So you want to think about who you're making the video for, what the purpose is,

and think about it really is a long term asset because you can you can look at it

for awareness, for lead generation, even for reducing customer support costs. So

there's a lot of different ways video can be a really valuable asset. But you

want to be very specific with that intention. Well I appreciate that you

level set that I mean I feel like as marketers for the last two, three years

we've been inundated with data with statistics and it's all about video

this video that, and it's the future and we agree yet we see so few people doing

it well yeah. Citing HubSpot again I know they're - 2017 state of inbound

reference that video is still the main disrupter in marketing these days and

we've seen other research. Wise owl says 63% of businesses are using video. So to

think that they're not doing it strategically why is that not happening?

Because it's harder to do it that way. I think a lot of times we've heard brands

say we want we want to make lots of videos and we want them now.

And that's one way to do it but I think the brands that go down that route often

find that they don't get a lot of value of those assets that they create. So we

say let's pause and figure out a strategy behind how we're going to do

this. That's going to take a little more time but it means that the quality of

videos that you're producing is much higher and your connect you're going to

connect with the people who really care about what you're trying to communicate.

So ok let's say I'm a marketing leader, I'm an executive, I've listened to the

stats that you've shared with us, I buy it I want to invest in video yeah. How

can I be confident that my investment is going to actually create an impact for

my business? Well the thing that we really focus on here is grounding our

work in the persona. So understanding everything we can about the customer.

Their needs, their behaviors, their desires, even looking at what those

things, how those things change throughout the buyers journey. You can

create video assets that address different personas at different stages

and get really granular with it. Or maybe you take a slightly different approach

where you look at it from an awareness standpoint. Either way, having that

grounding specifically in the persona, we've found, it creates a lot of impact.

So you know it's interesting I mean when you talk about personas and buyers

journey and some of this is marketing 101, a very for example basic example of

a buyers journey is you're in a stage of awareness from there you move to

consideration and then maybe you're in a decision stage and so what I'm hearing

is you're talking about creating videos that address certain buyers,

personas, in each of those stages. And what about channel strategy and on

different marketing channels and content strategy overall? Yeah I think that's the

great thing about video is that it doesn't have to be just this one

60-second clip that you create. It can be broken out potentially into different

pieces that you would share on social media. You might create blog posts that

relate to content in the video. You might have a landing page that has more

details. So it should be sort of an ecosystem of assets that are created

around the video itself to really you know again leverage the investment that

you're making in creating this larger asset. And I feel like we're still

learning so much about what the benefits of that investment is from customer

service even SEO benefits you know we're seeing that videos certainly extend the

time on site which improves SEO. So it seems like a long list of benefits.

Speaking of benefits, how do we know from a measuring perspective what's what's

working? What do we measure? Yeah I think you need to answer that question before

you make the video. You have to figure out you know are you trying to raise

awareness? Maybe then you are looking at view

counts, reach etc. But if you are trying to generate leads you might be looking

at how many email addresses you collected, how many clicks to your

website things like that. So you want to be very specific upfront and then tie it

to what the actual video is doing. And then think about long term goals, because

a video is going to be on online for years and often has impact on a much

longer term scale than perhaps you know a single Facebook post would have or a

tweet that kind of thing. I know we see common metrics with videos their views

their time viewed and we're learning a lot about that right now there's a very

important thing that Facebook is doing right now and that is enabling us to

retarget an audience that has watched our video for a specific period of time

so for example if somebody watches our video between 3 and 10 seconds we can

retarget them with advertising if they watch 50 percent of it or 95 percent of

it we can also set up a target and send

advertising to those folks as well. So clearly Facebook is figuring a lot of

things out strategically and as good marketers we want to be able to leverage

that. Yeah for sure. So you know thanks for everybody for

watching this far I know we want to give a take away and so Michael with all this

in mind where do you even start when you want to think about aligning video

content strategically? Where do you begin? Yeah we always start with a brief that

outlines everything we've been talking about in as much detail as possible so

that everyone involved in the creation of that video knows exactly the purpose

of what they're trying to do. And we created a template of that brief that

we'd like to share with everybody. Yes so thanks for mentioning that. The template

just register for the video series again room214.co/fastforward

you'll get have access to that template along with all the articles and

resources will be forwarding from that. So thanks again everybody for

joining. Just to give you a little teaser the next episode,

defining your organization's approach to creating video content. The three main

things were going to be talking about and that is, what makes sense to do

internally versus potentially hiring an agency for, we're also looking at live

events video content relative to that, and then certainly data analytics which

I know is a favorite of yours. So again everybody thanks for joining we'll see

you next time. room214.co/fastforward. We're

Introducing Trans Pathways - Duration: 2:44.

Researchers surveyed more than 850 trans young people for Trans Pathways, the largest study ever

conducted with trans young people in Australia on their mental health.

The survey is really important because it tells us that

young trans people in our community are experiencing really high levels of distress

and as a community we have a responsibility to do something about it.

The survey found the overwhelming majority of trans young people

had been diagnosed with depression and/or anxiety, rates about 10 times higher

than seen in the general Australian young person population.

It also found many trans young people had experienced post traumatic stress disorder,

an eating disorder or substance use disorder.

We asked trans young people what may be causing these mental health issues.

They told us that it was common for them to experience issues at school, university and TAFE.

Many trans young people felt that they had a lack of family support.

They also experienced discrimination and bullying.

Trans Pathways found almost all trans young people had thought about self-harm

and four in five had actually harmed themselves.

Most have had suicidal thoughts, and one in two trans young people had attempted to end their life.

As a society we need to accept gender diversity and we need to provide support

for young people and their families who are trans.

It's not being trans that leads to poor mental health, it's societal attitudes towards trans people

that lead these young people to experience mental health issues.

A large portion of trans young people reported experiencing discrimination, a lack of family support

and almost one in five have been homeless

while many said they'd reached out to a medical or mental health provider

who did not understand, respect or have experience with gender diverse people.

Based on these findings researchers have put together a comprehensive list

of recommendations for a range of groups and sectors.

You can find these along with the full report online.

We hope that the results from this survey will help services become more trans friendly

will help parents understand how they can better support their trans child

and overall help to promote societal change.

Every day, ordinary people are taken by strangers while going about their normal routines. My

hope is that maybe we can put our heads together and give their families some closure, or at

least figure out who – or what – took them away. Always pay attention to your surroundings

and be safe.

12 "The Stranger": This video was recorded on a home surveillance camera in June of 2017.

A woman in Sylmar, California has a short conversation with someone she doesn't know

very well and starts to walk away, but the man she was talking with decides that their

interaction is not over just yet. He stomps over to her and grabs her by the hair from

behind, and then he forcefully pushes her into his van. She tries to get out and he

pushes her back in even harder and then takes off. There's also someone in the passengers'

seat who barely moves while all of this is going on.

What's most suprising is that this occurred in the middle of the day, which goes to show

that these kinds of things can happen to you or me at any time. Police have no idea who

any of these people are – not even the victim – and they are asking for your help. Please

call the number in the description, if anybody in these videos looks familiar.

11. "Bride Taking": The practice of bride taking happens all-too-often in certain areas

of Russia, where unlucky young girls are taken off of the street and forced into marriage.

Here you see a sixteen year old girl walking home from school when a man suddenly grabs

her from behind and throws her to the ground. It looks as though a woman in red is about

to put a stop to this, but she picks the girl up and helps toss her into the getaway vehicle

instead.

The authorities were able to eventually track all of them back to an apartment where they

were planning to force her to marry a third person. Exactly how they all knew each other

remains a mysterious to this day.

10. "The Impossible Plane" A person is filming a strange aircraft outside of their

home as it performs mysterious maneuvers that they've never seen before.

There's not a single cloud in the sky, yet the airplane appears to be blinking in and

out of existence. It completely disappears after a while and never returns. What strikes

me as odd is the sheer number of comments from YouTubers who claim they were searching

for the exact same thing after they had seen it flying around their home. Everything from

u f os to new cloaking technology has been suggested.

I'll leave you with a different video of the same type of plane, this time taken years

later. There are tons of these kinds of videos floating around and they seem fairly legitimate.

Let me know what you think.

9. "The White Car": This dashcam catches a strange disappearance on the road that is

hard to fully explain. Pay attention to the white car ahead.

Look closely and you'll see how the car clearly goes out of sight while still remaining

in the center lane. I thought that maybe the vehicle became hidden behind a trail of snow

and turned off somewhere, but then I realized that the car is tightly flanked by traffic

on both sides and never has an opportunity to turn. In other words, it doesn't look

like it could have done anything other than continue straight.

8. "The Recording": A YouTuber named More Bad Ideas is riding his bike late at night.

He normally would never go out at this odd hour, but he just got home from vacation and

he just can't wait until the morning breaks to ride again. It's a decision that he will

soon regret.

He's popping wheelies down empty streets and old parking lots when he comes across

a random golf ball sticking out from a sewer grate. He's amused and throws it around

for a bit. It lands in some grass next to something much weirder, a camcorder laying

in a wet plastic bag.

The camera still has a memory card and some battery life, so he curiously presses play:

In case you couldn't see the screen clearly, the video shows a woman tied to a chair, whimpering.

Suddenly a car puts its high beams on and floors it towards him, he hops on his bike

and narrowly gets away. He sees the person chasing him one more time a short while later

and then he barely escapes again.

7. "Walmart": There's little to no backstory on this video. A girl is standing outside

of Walmart when a van pulls up right in front of her. She's too busy looking at her phone

to notice the doors swing open and a group of men charge straight at her.

Hardly any shoppers react as the van speeds off with her screaming inside. One thing I

don't understand is why the cameraman was filming this location before anything happened.

Either this is some kind of social experiment, or he is working with the people who took

her. Maybe she was a target and the video he was taking of her was proof so that they

get paid.

6. "Plane Gets Eaten": A YouTuber named Justin Martinez is recording some planes near

his house when he notices that one of planes has extremely sporadic flight patterns, almost

as if it is stalking the other one. Then this happens out of nowhere:

The plane is suddenly scooped up and fully disappears. When you zoom in and slow down,

you can see it's probably not a plane, but rather a u f o. It flies up and away from

the scene at a high rate of speed.

I think this video might be CGI because it does look a little grainy. Other people in

the comments section, however, have proposed that it's everything from flying insects

to the same thing that took down the Malaysian Flight 370 not too long ago.

5. "The Ghost Bike": This video was recently recorded by an astonished motorist while on

a highway in Paris. You can see that the motorcycle clearly has no driver, yet it is somehow able

to remain upright and steer all by itself while traveling at highway speeds.

News outlets report that the motorcycle's owner may have fallen shortly before this

video was taken, but that still doesn't explain how the motorcycle was able to travel

by itself for such a long period of time. I guess it's possible that the driver could

have been knocked off at just the right angle to keep the bike going straight, and perhaps

they had the bike on cruise control, but that seems like a one in a million chance. If you

can verify the name of the person who fell of this bike then please let us know. Until

then, the driver seems to have either never existed or else mysteriously disappeared.

4. "The High Beam": A truck is hauling down a German roadway when it's brought

to a sudden stop by something that's seemingly not of this world . . .

A bright beam of light fills the sky and lifts

the truck's wheels high off the road. I can't tell if this strange flash really

happened or if someone took a news clip of a normal roadway and added special effects.

It looks like it could be doctored footage of something else, but the truck appears to

be driving straight and should not have gotten into any issues at all. If anyone lives in

Germany and knows what happened – especially if you know the driver disappeared or not

after this happened – then please let us know.

3. "The Wanderer": This footage was taken in 2014 in Jackson, Wyoming. A man is walking

past a local bank when suddenly he fades away.

Look closely and you can see two tiny white dots for feet as he takes a few more steps

and then vanishes completely. Everything from time traveling to human holograms has been

suggested as possible explanations, but I think that the camera may have simply lagged

for a few frames or something like that. Either way, the person's identity has never been

revealed, so we'll never know what happened for certain.

2. "The Traveler": A woman was caught disappearing on multiple CCTV cameras at the

same time. This incident made the news and basically nobody is certain what happened.

Take a look at these two completely different angles:

I can understand a camera malfunction happening once, but the chances of it happening to two

separate cameras at the same time is very slim. I don't understand how this could

happen and I'm eager to read your opinions. Do you think that this woman has truly disappeared?

Before we get to number 1, my name is Chills and I hope you're enjoying the video so

far. If you've ever been curious as to what I look like in real life, then follow me on

Instagram @dylan_is_chillin_yt, with underscores instead of spaces. I also have Twitter @YT_Chills

the only language you speak and your interested in getting a shoutout, click "More", then

"Add Translations", by translating the video not only will more people be able to

watch it, but a link to your channel will be added in the description.

1. "Target": A woman is walking outside of a Target store when a van pulls up and

a strange man gets out. Another woman joins him and together they pick her up and pull

her towards the vehicle against her will. A third accomplice helps them shove her inside

the van and they drive off. Meanwhile, a concerned crowd gathers around.

Someone in the comments section said that this may have happened in Florida, and that

the people taking her away were her family. I couldn't find any news articles though,

and this explanation, if true, only solves the mystery halfway. If this is the true reason,

then where were they going, why were they in such a hurry, and why she didn't want

to go with her own family?

Thanks for checking out this video. Be sure to subscribe because I upload a new video

every Thursday. Or if you're still not convinced, here are some of my other videos that I think

Here you are.

You're at Brown.

You made it.

Congratulations.

So I remember when I was a freshman there,

I was incredibly excited.

I was also playing it cool, but I was incredibly excited.

You know, I was excited to be at an American University,

I was excited to be at Brown.

And very early in my first year, my WPC--

maybe even the orientation week-- my WPC, who I loved,

we had a ton of conversations all the time, she asked me,

so are you excited to go partying?

I'm just like, oh my god, I'm excited to go partying.

And she's like, what's partying?

And I'm like, partying is when you go to a bunch of friends

somewhere and you dance for six hours

until you smell like pizza.

It's disgusting.

And they you kiss your boo underneath the stars

and then you go have a huge meal.

You come home at 2 AM.

You get home at 2 AM, your parents wake up

and they're just excited for you.

And they're excited for you because they

know that at the party there was kissing, there was dancing,

there was eating, and that was kind of it.

And she's like, how about substances?

I'm just like, there might have been substances there,

but people weren't really getting intoxicated.

And she was like, whoa.

That's going to be kind of different than what

you might find here.

And yeah, pretty soon, I learned that the word in English,

partying, that that word in American culture in the US

kind of means getting messed up on a substance

or on substances.

And that was really different.

And then I also saw that while intoxicated,

people were also hooking up while intoxicated.

And that was also really different.

And I think I've adapted to American culture in many ways,

but maybe this isn't one of them.

One way to think about it is this.

Like if you're on an amazing roller coaster,

OK, is it necessary to also be eating

like the juiciest, chocolatiest, most delicious crepe ever?

Like, do we really need to combine the two?

Or is the crepe amazing and the roller coaster

amazing in and of themselves?

And this question, maybe it's something you can ask yourself.

Like, do I need to combine the two?

And where do I stand on this topic, the topic of combining

substances with sexy time?

And, you know, sexy time is anything, from 0 to 100.

Sexy time means anything you like, right?

So one of the ways that you can prepare yourself for this

is to mentally prepare yourself for this.

Like, you can have conversations with yourself,

you can sort of analyze where do you stand in this topic?

And here's what it could look like.

You're getting dressed, you're getting

ready to go out to a party or a social situation

where there might be substances, where there might be sexy time.

And you can just have an agreement with yourself.

How intoxicated do I want to get?

On what substance?

Do I want to get with someone and how much?

Do I want to combine the two things or not?

And if I do want to combine the two things, standing here

in a clear state of mind, what do I honestly

think would be the safest bet for me

as to what I would like to happen without harming

myself or somebody else?

So it could be that you agree that like,

I'm going to have three drinks and I'm

going to make out with someone and then

I'm going to take off my shirt.

OK?

In the moment, if you want to play it safe, like the safest,

in the moment, even if the moment

is making you feel like you want to do more,

perhaps the safest bet would be to just stick

with the agreement you had made with yourself.

OK?

And if that evening ends and you go home

and you wake up the next day just like, you know what?

I actually could have done more and it would have been the best

decision and it would have been healthy

and it would have been safe.

And then you can just play it like that the next time.

And you can ebb and flow also in your expectations,

in your comfort level, in each situation

with each person, et cetera.

Now, the word expectation is interesting.

Expectation doesn't mean entitlement.

Expectation means hopefulness.

And where it really matters is this.

If two people are hooking up and one person

has an expectation of what they want

to occur in the realm of sexy time

that's greater than the other person's, it's

the person with the smallest expectation who wins the day.

That's the way to be the most safe

with yourself and the other person.

OK?

Now, let's say you're getting with a person you can't really

tell if they're giving you their full consent,

if they're genuinely excited for what's about to happen

or what is happening.

If you can't really tell that because you're not fully sober

or they're not fully sober or the communication just

isn't clear enough, you know what you can do?

Give me your Instagram.

Get the phone number.

You're going to be here for four years.

It's not that big of a university.

You will have other chances.

Life will give you other choices, right?

And maybe if you think about it this way,

you can just have a happy, safe time for four years.

Not just this week, not just this year, but for four years.

I mean, don't you think you deserve

to have a happy, safe time?

I think you do.

And to offer a happy, safe time to everybody else?

So right now, it's been a pleasure

doing this video for you.

I wish I could be there.

But right now, you're going to listen to some students,

some amazing students.

And they're going to tell you what substance use or partying

is like at Brown right now.

Dear Fellow Scholars, this is Two Minute Papers with Károly Zsolnai-Fehér.

In our earlier episodes, when it came to learning techniques, we almost always talked about

supervised learning.

This means that we give the algorithm a bunch of images, and some additional information,

for instance, that these images depict dogs or cats.

Then, the learning algorithm is exposed to new images that it had never seen before and

has to be able to classify them correctly.

It is kind of like a teacher sitting next to a student, providing supervision.

Then, the exam comes with new questions.

This is supervised learning, and as you have seen from more than 180 episodes of Two Minute

Papers, there is no doubt that it is an enormously successful field of research.

However, this means that we have to label our datasets, so we have to add some additional

information to every image we have.

This is a very laborious task, which is typically performed by researchers or through crowdsourcing,

both of which takes a lot of funding and hundreds of work hours.

But if we think about it, we have a ton of videos on the internet, you always hear these

mind melting new statistics on how many hours of video footage is uploaded to YouTube every

day.

Of course, we could hire all the employees in the world to annotate these videos frame

by frame to tell the algorithm that this is a guitar, this is an accordion, or a keyboard,

and we would still not be able to learn on most of what's uploaded.

But it would be so great to have an algorithm that can learn on unlabeled data.

However, there are learning techniques in the field of unsupervised learning, which

means that the algorithm is given a bunch of images, or any media, and is instructed

to learn on it without any additional information.

There is no teacher to supervise the learning.

The algorithm learns by itself.

And in this work, the objective is to learn both visual and audio-related tasks in an

unsupervised manner.

So for instance, if we look at the this layer of the visual subnetwork, we'll find neurons

that get very excited when they see, for instance, someone playing an accordion.

And each of the neurons in this layer belong to different object classes.

I surely have something like this for papers.

And here comes the Károly goes crazy part one: this technique not only classifies the

frames of the videos, but it also creates semantic heatmaps, which show us which part

of the image is responsible for the sounds that we hear.

This is insanity!

To accomplish this, they ran a vision subnetwork on the video part, and a separate audio subnetwork

to learn about the sounds, and at the last step, all this information is fused together

to obtain Károly goes crazy part two: this makes the network able to guess whether the

audio and the video stream correspond to each other.

It looks at a man with a fiddle, listens to a sound clip and will say whether the two

correspond to each other.

Wow!

The audio subnetwork also learned the concept of human voices, the sound of water, wind,

music, live concerts and much, much more.

And the answer is yes, it is remarkably close to human-level performance on sound classification.

And all this is provided by the two networks that were trained from scratch, and, no supervision

is required.

We don't need to annotate these videos.

Nailed it.

And please don't get this wrong, it's not like DeepMind has suddenly invented unsupervised

learning, not at all.

This is a field that has been actively researched for decades, it's just that we rarely see

really punchy results like these ones here.

Truly incredible work.

How to play "STRANGE WORLD" from Dragon Quest 8(Synthesia) [Piano Video Tutorial] [HD] - Duration: 7:29.

hello there are all you video gaming piano players i'm sydney from

smartgamepiano.com and i'm recovering from a cold so that's why i sound super

awesome right now but I'm still going to teach you guys this song today so we're

going to be learning strange world from Dragon Quest 8 let's start by taking a

lesson

and if you want to learn the rest of the tomb please head over to

smartgamepiano.com and check that out and if you likely here please subscribe

to our YouTube channel today two new videos every week

oh my gosh my voice all right so I have some beginning

we do these arpeggios or these broken chords of an E minor seven chord but

ACCE you're going to play that same spot with the right hand like that so left

hand right hand same pattern an octave higher with your

left hand Gd and then this time play with your

second finger in your right hand then your first and your second then your

third and land on your fifth finger on B

okay and let's just continue with the right hand

C a B G a a a B D G a all the way to G E e F a be e and jump down to me and play

the scale here b c d e cross under with your thumb landing on F G a flat B flat

cross under with your thumb again to land on see a E flat F and land on beat

now in the original this is actually an octave higher but I decided to keep it

down here just to make it a little easier

so you're not stretching all the way up so let's play the entirety of the right

hand counting out let's starting from right here here we go three E and a four

E and a one E and two E and A three E and four and A one and A two E and A

three E and a four E and one E and a two E and A three E and a four E and a one E

and two E and three E and a four E and A three E and a four E and a one E and two

E and A three and a four okay so not terribly difficult but you are moving

all over the place so take your time with those notes left hand after you do

to your pgo thing you're going to start at a you reach all the way up to B cross

over a third finger on C and land on an G with your thumb and your index

next f3f crossover search near on a and then Dunst and II do the same thing with

e-e-e this time use your second finger on G so you can land on 7a and then last

one is a bean third finger on F plant on Jami and then it's just single notes

here see for two beats flat for two weeks a flat for one leave that for one

and land on g4 to be let's count that much out loud starting just from ranking

for E and E and two E and three and a four E and

and three and a four E and O and three and a four E and O and three and four E

and a one E and two and three E and four E and and E and a and a four E and all

right and that's the left hand now let's start right here with V arpeggios

counting out loud all the way through with both hands if you don't feel ready

you'll have an easier time with the right hand but if you want to challenge

go ahead and do the left hand first oh here we go okay four E and a one E and a

two E and AH three and AH four and I'm a sceptic Arriba's okay one E and the

tooth and E and a four E and AH three E and a four E and O and

and a four E and a one E and a four E and

and three and four and and that's it for part one a strange world from Dragon

Quest 8 if you want to learn the rest of the tune head over to smartgamepiano.com

and if you'd like what you hear, please subscribe to use our channel even

though I sound better on other days apologize about that

and as always everybody happy practicing

Japanese watches Finnish comedy videos - Duration: 8:18.

Hi, I'm Gen.

This time, I will watch comedy videos.

So this time I will watch Finnish comedy videos.

The reason why I wanted to make this video is,

that I really like and grew up watching lots of Japanese comedy.

Lately I've been learning a lot of things about Finland

and so I became interested as to what kind of comedy does Finland have.

My girlfriend also likes comedy so

I asked her to choose Finnish comedy videos.

I will watch the videos and react to them.

So I hope you like this video where I watch comedy and react to it at the same time.

So let's get started

The first video is this

Kummeli, Tonnin seteli.

Let's go!

He is shopping.

Coffee.

He wants to drink coffee.

Does he take cake as well?

Eight marks. (Former Finnish currency)

You need to pay.

A pretty big bill. I guess he didn't have anything else.

So little? Wait a minute?

I was eight marks.

And he had a thousand mark bill.

What happened to the change?

It's not enough. What happened? He suddenly freezed up.

It's weird.

This is really…

There's a sad background music.

What happened to him?

He sat down and is drinking his coffee.

He's staring. Surprisingly it's the coffee shop employee who's staring.

Why is he… Scary! He's really scary!

Now! He won't return it.

What is he thinking?

Scary!

What was with that guy?

Really scary.

I'd understand if the cashier pretended not to know but

that he was staring the customer who already gave up and was drinking his coffee was scary.

Allright

The next one is this!

Boozeday, boozeday, boozeday

The mood is rising.

But the kids are really cold.

"What are you doing"

A shock!

Please

Today is not that kind of a day.

No, no

He looks sad.

She's angry.

Emotional.

No, no, no.

She'll cry soon.

Boozeday.

That girl's face. That was really good. Her face.

She's a good actress.

Sad.

She opened it in the store.

Alright. The gap between adults and children turned over.

Spede Pronominirock.

Let's go!

Looks old.

I wonder if this is an old video.

Me, you, he/she

Yes, yes, yes

Me, you, he/she

I see. This is a good lesson.

He's dancing.

Looks like fun.

It's not like he's the one singing, just dancing.

with light steps.

Looks like fun.

The mood is rising.

He's flying in the air.

He's gradually dancing a little bit fiercely.

There could be more variation in the moment of the hands. The feet are doing their best.

I wonder what will happen after this.

The dancing is amazing. He's flying.

He overdid it. The staff helps.

That was close.

They could just start ovet.

Even the tablecloth is out of place.

Okey, okay. Now he's itchy!

He was itchy while doing the dance.

The material of the trousers is itchy.

They could just start over. This is sloppy. You can fool them by laughing.

You can get away with anything if you laugh.

It's not like that, is it?

Itchy. The hands could do that. It's funny how the feet scratch the itch.

He dropped them again. Isn't that enough? Where, where, where?

The fact that he looks like he's having a lot of fun doesn't change.

Which one is moving the hands? That face…

He's bald!

He's bald but dancing like he's having so much fun.

He was bald.

Really

Those aren't feet anymore.

He was bald!

What was this video?

So the trick was that he was bald.

Pronominirock. Alright.

And so, this time I watched a few comedy videos.

To tell the truth, the best one was "minä, sinä, hän…"

who ended up being bald.

It was easy to understand and good.

I like this topic so I was thinking of making this into a series of videos

so please tell me your favorite comedy videos in the comments below.

I will look at them and

watch more clips of different types of Finnish comedy.

So please send me your recommendations.

So this time, I watched a lot of Finnish comedy videos.

I might be making a parody version of one of these comedy videos,

so please look forward to it! Okay, I'll see you again!

Kiitos, moi moi!

Power of the Pen Poetry Plays Farewell Video - Duration: 5:40.

During our class videos,

you may hear our poets and playwrights use terms

that are new to you.

We have created a list

of key terms and definitions

that you can refer to at any point

during our video lectures.

This list is available on the videos and readings class page

where you can read it or download it as a pdf.

If you would like to find and review these terms

while you watch each class video,

you can stop this video, go back

to the videos and readings class page,

and download the pdf.

There you can play this video and each

of the following class videos.

If you have any questions about these terms,

we encourage you to ask your teaching team

in the weekly class discussions.

- Welcome back to our farewell video.

We've gone on a fantastic journey

though the writing of poetry and plays,

and for our last video,

Lisa and I are just going to share a few thoughts

about what next to do.

We hope that over the course of this MOOC,

you have not only made progress in your writing,

but begun to cultivate those writerly habits

that are crucial to continuing in this craft,

which for me include trying to write regularly,

read widely and as deeply as I can

and not to be afraid of failure

as our great playwright Samuel Beckett said,

"Fail again, fail better."

That, I think, what leads us onward, right?

- Yes. Yes, right, right.

Such great practices you've mentioned

and I think always consider exactly

which time and place we are,

where we find ourselves,

and how we can address that best and most directly

and most serviceably

and with as much spirit as we can.

- We thought we would end

We thought we would end by reading,

we thought we would close by reading a couple of poems

by Yannis Ritsos, written in homage

to Constantine Cavafy,

because in fact, we are always

in conversation with other writers,

poets and playwrights and fiction writers

and nonfiction writers.

We are engaged in an ongoing conversation

and so Lisa and I are going to read a couple of poems

by Ritsos for Cavafy.

The first goes like this, The Poets Place.

"The desk of sculptured ebony,

the two silver candlesticks, his red pipe.

He's sitting almost invisible in the armchair

since he keeps the window always at his back.

Behind his glasses, oversized and circumspect,

he watches the person he's talking with

in the plentiful light.

Hiding himself behind his words,

history behind his own persona.

Invulnerable and distant,

diverting attention to the tenuous reflections

of a sapphire he wears on a finger,

totally receptive.

He relishes the expressions of the moment

which make inept adolescents

lick their lips with admiration

and he, cunning, avid, carnal,

the great infallible himself,

between a no and a yes,

between desire and remorse,

like a scourge in the hand of the god,

wavers with his whole being,

while the light from the window

behind his head irradiates a halo of forgiveness

and innocence.

If poetry's not an absolution,

he mutters for his own benefit,

then let's not expect mercy

from anywhere."

- And the second poem, His Lamp.

"The lamp is peaceful, serviceable.

He prefers it to any other lighting.

He adjusts his light to the needs

of the moment,

to the age old unavailable desire.

And always this odor of kerosene,

this subtle presence,

very unobtrusive at night

when he returns alone,

with so much fatigue in his limbs,

so much futility in the texture of his coat,

in the seams of the pockets

that every movement seems useless, unendurable.

Once more to distract him,

here's the lamp,

the wick, the match, the flickering flame

with its shadows on the bed, on the desk, on the walls.

But especially the glass cover.

Its fragile, transparency, which,

in a simple and human gesture,

once more involves you.

In saving yourself, or in saving."

- And what I love about these poems

is that Ritsos inhabits Cavafy fully.

- Yeah.

- And he describes so accurately this world,

he builds up a world for Cavafy,

in which Cavafy has his own freedom and agency.

- Yes.

- It's what it's all about.

- Yes.

- Onward.
