hey guys it's Kristin so for today's
video I thought it might be kind of fun
to show you the different scars that I
have and tell you how I got them a
little bit of a spin-off of my story
time videos it's kind of like a story
time but with like a bunch of different
little mini stories all mixed into one
now before I start if you guys like this
video please give me a thumbs up it
helps so much wasn't your like what
would be the best way to go like were
scars like not so bad scars or maybe
like the first ones I got head to toe
who knows i don't know so i just kind of
like made a list of the ones i can think
of and i'm gonna go in that order i
guess so the most like I guess known one
for me is my finger if you watch my
channel you know that I've had like
major issues with my finger I've had
surgery on it recently like it's an
having been six months yet and my
fingers just like majorly jacked up so
as you can see I mean it's straight now
but I've got this really ugly scar in
the middle and it's all you know dark
and stuff so I don't know how long this
is going to take to heal it's not super
attractive I'm not going to go into a
lot of detail on exactly how this
happened because I did a whole video on
what I did to it and it's already posted
but pretty much I was trying to make a
dog collar when I was like I think I was
like 13 and I couldn't find scissors so
I use a nice and just went like this and
it slipped and pretty much took the
finger off so here's some pictures of
like what it looked like before the
surgery and now this is what it looks
like after so as you can see it's still
pretty messed up but the good thing is
when I go to plate now look at straight
before it was like like all wonky like
it was like an S it was really ugly so
that's probably the worst one that I
have now this one I'm probably get to do
a close-up on I have one of my very
first scars and actually love this scar
I kind of wish there wasn't fading as
much and i know it sounds like so stupid
but to me like scars are memories you
know like and some of them are not
always great but some of them are this
one is from when i first started working
at a vet hospital and this was like way
back I was like 18 I think it was one of
my first like real jobs I was working as
a vet assistant in Washington State I
was assisting with a surgery pan when
the dog
out of surgery we cut their nails just
so that they're nice and trimmed for
everyone or whatever well when the dog
started waking up we went to take the
trach tube out and the dog just lost his
mind start slashing and whatever and
just like Wolverine my arm it was bad
there was blood everywhere because I
literally had just cut the dog's nails
so it was just it was a bad one okay the
other one that i have i only have ever
talked about this and like I sometimes I
forget that it's there but I have a scar
under my chin now I don't know if you're
gonna be able to see it on camera so if
you can't see any of these I'm going to
zoom in but I have a scar right there
this was probably my very first car that
I ever got I was eight months old and my
dad was giving me a bath and apparently
like a bubble bath with soap and
everything and he went to go pick me up
out of the tub and I went like this and
I put my arm straight up and his hands
just went down and flipped right up and
I felt smacked my chin like this on the
bathtub and my mom says that like blood
was just gushing everywhere cuz like
they say like head wounds are really bad
so I that's all I really know about the
story but then they like stitched me up
and stuff another this little scar
mention another one that's really bad I
have like two injuries that are really
bad so I have the singer when I almost
cut it off and then my ankle which I
pretty much broke my ankle and that also
is the videos not going to go into a lot
of detail about that because you want to
know more about like the whole story i
also have a video posted about that i
actually have two scars i have one on
either side of my ankle this is probably
still to this day the most painful scar
that i have if something hits the
outside of my ankle I will literally see
stars and almost pass out there must be
some sort of nerve damage there or
something it just hurts so bad on a
man's bike you know how to bars straight
well my dad used to put a pillow there
when I think it was like six because I
was in kindergarten for five or six but
we could put a pillow and ride around we
did this all the time never had an issue
but one day this guy just like backed
out of the driveway so fast and we had
no reaction time and my leg swung into
the spokes wire of his wheel and you
know girls so that one is a really bad
scar so this scar here I got this one
like seven or seven years ago or so and
it was when we're living
in Rochester New York we had a back door
and it was pretty much like a wood door
and then the middle was all glass so the
one day we were going out I think we're
going going outside or something I don't
know what it was far as me and Matt and
the wind it was really really windy and
the wind came and the door was going to
like slam and it was I was afraid was
going to hit my hand or slam him in my
face so I put my hand up to stop it and
my hand went straight through the glass
so I have a scar it's like probably i
don't know almost two inches long you
know I kind of just patched it up I put
a bunch of cream on it and stuff one
reason to why I have all these scars
except for the finger is that so I feel
like that one doesn't count but I hurt
myself and it's like really bad badly
hurting myself and then I just don't go
to the hospital so a lot of these I have
scars because I kind of like okay well
we'll just patch it up i'll put some
have you can put crazy glue on them I
put band-aids on whatever and then after
a while they're fine but they don't heal
properly so they're all like jacked up
and stuff and then on my other hand the
bad hand was a bad finger I all of this
scar here this won't happen probably I
think the most recent it happened the
day we went to go see the resonant the
movie one of those mandolins Yuri sliced
the vegetables and stuff on well someone
put it back in the cupboard with the
blade completely open so it was facing
me so I reached into our cover to get a
pot and just went it sliced my finger
really bad same thing bleeding bleeding
bleeding put a bandaid on it soaking
through the band-aid kept wrapping it
eventually at some point I had my I had
my finger splinted with the other one
and I had them both wrapped so that I
could have the padding like super super
thick I don't know if you guys have ever
cut your fingers or done anything on
fingers it is the worst pain because it
just pumped like this like you feel like
your fingers going to fall off now we
were sitting in the movie and I just
remember thinking like this movie's
awesome but in the back of my mind I
like my finger hurts oh my god my finger
is throbbing it hurt so bad and it took
a while to heal like I mean probably two
weeks before it actually started closing
so I'm pretty sure this was a deep deep
cut and I should have had stitches but
you know we just put some butterflies
thing on it and catch
we were good so another one I have I
have one on my head I don't know if you
can so you can see this one actually so
I have a dot right there and I have a
dot right there so these ones are also
from when I was really little I got
chickenpox I think I was like right
around the same age is like the chin one
like 8 months 10 months something like
that but I got chickenpox and I don't
really know I don't remember this either
but apparently I was like scratching
them really bad and these are scars from
chicken pox so if your parent or if your
child watching this and you get chicken
pox do not let your kids pick at their
chicken pox your child do not pick at
your chicken box especially if they're
on your face who wants cars on their
face okay the other one that I have you
can't really see it because my toe ring
is on and my toe ring has just now I
have this big mark on my foot but here's
a picture of what it happened so I have
a scar on my toe my second toe on my
left side and it's from my toe ring so
you have to be careful kind of total
rings you get the touring that I was
wearing at the time it had very kind of
sharp edges which I right there should
have known but we were standing by the
window or something because we thought
we heard something and it was a middle I
think it was like a weekend or something
and we thought someone was like doing
something to our cars and I remember we
were standing by the windows and my dog
came over and I was like she get away
like trying to get her away and she got
all scared and her nails on my foot and
so when she took off she went like this
and she like ripped the toe ring off
with my skin it was disgusting they took
so long for that to heal because it was
literally like she took the skin off my
cell and it had to all grow back and it
took like a month or something I'm
really really sorry if you know if
that's really graphic or whatever but
that is a scar that i have okay and then
last one is such a baby one but it is a
scar so it still counts I don't remember
a ton about this one but when I was I
think like seven maybe or eight and I
just remember being at the playground
and you know how the playground I don't
even know if they have this anymore but
they have like those big thick like four
by four pieces of wood that go all the
way around the whole playground so as
one of those that have like the sand and
the dirt and stuff inside of it and I
was running I was like oh I'm going to
go play in the park and Iran
and I trip in the corner of the piece of
wood hit my knee but yeah that's that's
the scar that's the last one that is a
total of nine scars that I have on my
body I'm pretty sure I'm going to get
more in the future because I'm only 34
and I have nine already you so nosy
maybe maybe 10 years from now I'll be
making another one of these videos but
anyways if you guys like this please
give me a thumbs up and if you want to
see more videos from me don't forget to
subscribe I'll talk to you later peace

Remnants of a Realm | Episode VI | Aleport, Dzemael Darkhold, & Lost Classes - Duration: 13:44.
Hello Eorzeans!
I'm Lukile Bravestone, and welcome to another episode of Remnants of a Realm!
Last week we looked at The Mun-Tuy Cellars, Cutter's Cry and Battle Regimen.
Now today I've got some nice treats for you.
Let's just jump into our first location!
Aleport!
In 1.0, Aleport was a Hamlet located in Western La Noscea, a short walk away from Camp Skull
Valley in the North, Swiftperch Tower in the East, and Halfstone to the West.
Aleport was once one of many coastal communities, but a band of pirates known as the Serpent
Reavers burned all of them down – all except for Aleport.
With its dangerous and impenetrable cliffs, Aleport was more or less protected from Pirate
attacks.
Aleport's main industry is, as the name implies, ale, having the biggest brewery in
the region.
However, despite being protected from pirates, Aleport is frequently attacked by the Kobolds.
Aleport was accessible through two cave tunnels, which often caused massive confusion for people
trying to get to Aleport, as there was no indicators on the map to tell you that this
was the entrance – pair that with the fact that all the cave entrances looked the same,
and that La Noscea had loads of them – and you've got yourself an exploration party.
Aleport had no actual purpose until patch 1.22, when Hamlet Defense was added to it.
Before then, it served mostly as a fishing location, and a location as a part of the
2010 Starlight Celebration event.
Other than that, Aleport was nothing.
Not even leves.
But as patch 1.22 hit, Aleport finally started shining.
Becoming the first (and last) Hamlet Defense location in La Noscea.
After the Calamity, Aleport grew rapidly.
Today it actually looks like a proper port, with an Aetheryte Crystal, a levemete, chocobo
stables as well as ferries and vendors.
The location is also featured heavily in the Main Scenario and the port also has several
sidequests you can do.
The location of Aleport is more or less the same as in 1.0, but the surrounding areas
are completely different.
Gone are the annoying cave entrances and the cliffs – instead large walls now protect
Aleport from the pesky beast tribes.
The difference between 1.0 Aleport and 2.0 Aleport is like night and day with practically
nothing left of the 1.0 version in the 2.0 one.
I tried to look for SOMETHING similar to the 1.0 version, but I found nothing.
Except for the shape of this building.
It KINDA looks like the 1.0 main building thing, but not really.
I guess that's a good thing.
Let's leave Aleport behind for now and head into an instanced dungeon – Dzemael Darkhold!
Oh yes, here we go.
In 1.0, Dzemael Darkhold was located in the Coerthas Central Highlands, close to the aetherial
gate in Boulder Downs to the southwest, and Camp Dragonhead to the north.
Dzemael Darkhold was intended to be Ishgard's bastion in their continuing conflict against
the dravanians.
However while mining the depths of the caverns for crystals, the Ishgardians found a strange
statue that came to life as they tried to move it, killing most of the miners.
Ishgardian knights and hired hands were sent in to deal with the creature, but as soon
as they made it to the dungeon, Imperial troopers had stormed the Darkhold's entrance and
had no trouble taking over the place.
The dungeon required a Full Party of 8 to complete, and had a 60 minute time limit.
The dungeon had 2 bosses – The Deepvoid Slave.
And the final boss, Batraal.
In addition to these two, a monster called the All Seeing Eye constantly stalks you throughout
the dungeon casting aoes that really hurt your party.
This monster could not be killed.
To get around the dungeon, the party had to stand in magitek circles to unlock certain
doors.
There were three types of these circles, each requiring a certain amount of players inside
them to unlock the door, the number required was shown by the symbols on the circle.
The dungeon was part of the Grand Company Quest "Into The Dark", which required
you to enter the Captain's Quarters to complete the quest.
There were multiple optional paths in this dungeon, most of them leading to treasure
coffers that contained gear.
In addition to the regular dungeon gear, artifact gear for Monks and White Mages was to be found
in the Deepvoid Slave room.
After killing Batraal, you were presented with up to 5 treasure chests.
As usual, the amount of chests that would spawn was based on your performance.
The requirements for these chests were: - Kill NW-most Orobon inside the Chocobo Stables
- Activate all circles in the dungeon - Kill the last boss, also known as the dungeon
clear chest.
- Defeat Batraal in 25 minutes or less.
- And getting every regular chest during the run.
As the game transitioned over into 2.0, Dzemael Darkhold's outside changed drastically.
Where there once was just a wooden fence there is now a massive stone wall with a giant iron
gate.
The actual dungeon entrance is now further inside a chamber, with torches, waterfalls
and soldiers guarding the sealed door to the Darkhold.
The inside tells a similar story.
The first floor is just the first half of the original 1.0 design, ending in the Grand
Hall.
After that, there is nothing left of 1.0's design, as we're in this two part area.
The time limit has been increased to 90 minutes and the dungeon is no longer a level 50 dungeon,
now unlocking at level 44 and requiring a Light Party of 4.
Despite the dungeon layout being different after the first half, all the original bosses
are still there.
But they have changed dramatically.
The All Seeing Eye is actually a boss now and is killed early on in the dungeon.
The Deepvoid Slave has been renamed Taulurd, and Batraal is now alone in the chamber, no
longer summoning skeletons to aid him.
The Magitek circles have changed too, no longer requiring a certain amount of players in them
to unlock doors, instead it starts counting down - the more people inside the circles,
the faster it counts, and the doors will open quicker.
The Darkhold sure has changed, for the better?
Let me know in the comments!
Now for this last part we're gonna take a look at something that didn't even make
it into 1.0!
Insane, right?
Ok ok, let me explain.
In October of 2010, ffxivcore.com collected a ton of information about Final Fantasy XIV
through datamining, and found a lot of good stuff that was planned to be implemented in
the original Tanaka version of Final Fantasy XIV.
On this list was a section named Unimplemented Classes.
And boy, what a treat it was indeed.
On the list we found the following classes: Arcanist, Assassin, Bard, Enforcer, Fencer,
Flayer, Musketeer, Mystic, Samurai, Sheperd and Stavesman.
Now keep in mind that this was in October of 2010, this is before the big restructuring,
so we're looking at classes, not jobs.
So let's start from the top here with the information we got.
Arcanist – This class was planned to be implemented pretty early on, as the guild
was already placed in Limsa Lominsa and NPCs were actually wearing the Arcanist canes – yes
– canes.
This is the original description of the 1.0 Arcanist:
A Disciple of Magic that makes use of magic along with mechanics.
- Their magic skill is called "Arcanima."
- Their auto attack is called "Magic Missle", which uses "arcance" magic.
Damage type varies with equipped item.
- They can use "Create Distaff" to create Arcane Distaffs and use "Animate Distaff"
to animate them, placing them down and activating them.
Distaffs are items imbued with power by the arcanist.
They can be placed down as traps, arcanima fields, and more.
There is a limit number of distaffs that can be placed down per party, and they have a
set duration.
- Their actions "Create Distaff" and "Animate Distaff" are similar to "Refill" as Archer
or normal attacks as classes.
They cost no action points, MP, or TP.
- Their weapon is a combination of a staff and mechanics.
- Their weapon deals various element damage similar to other magic users.
Their primary elements are Ice, Earth, and Water (identical to Thaumaturge), which is
actually Umbral damage.
So this is probably the most detailed description of any of the classes that didn't make it
into 1.0, and looking at it, it seems like this didn't quite make it into 2.0 either.
This is a very different kind of Arcanist compared to the 2.0 version.
Next up is the Musketeer.
- A Disciple of War.
- Their guild is currently located in Limsa Lominsa.
- Their skill is called "Gunnery."
- Their weapon deals Projectile damage.
Now this isn't much to go on, but this class also had a guild in Limsa Lominsa.
This class was most likely absorbed into the Machinist class, and I doubt we'll ever
see this one implemented in the game.
There is also a mention of Samurai and Bard, however there was no specific information
tied to this other than the names.
Considering that this was before the Job system, we were probably looking at a Bard more akin
to that of a Final Fantasy XI Bard – a full on support class.
Now let's look at Fencer.
- A Disciple of War.
- Their skill is called "Fencing."
- Skilled at parrying (higher parry chance).
- Their weapon deals Piercing damage.
So this is a class that first showed up in Final Fantasy Tactics, and is basically a
Red Mage without the magic.
It would have been somewhat interesting to see this one implemented, but this one to
me, is not a big loss.
Next we have Enforcer.
- A Disciple of War.
- Their skill is called "Club."
- Their weapon deals Blunt damage.
This one confused me a bit.
I cannot recall this ever being a class or job in Final Fantasy, and a quick search shows
results for a Final Fantasy XV gun.
This might have been an attempt at creating a unique class for Final Fantasy XIV, or a
sub-class like the sentinel for gladiators.
Next up is Mystic - A Disciple of Magic class.
- Their skill is called "Mysticism."
- Their weapon deals various element damage similar to other magic users.
Their primary elements are Fire, Wind, and Lightning (identical to Conjurer), which is
actually Astral damage.
Another Final Fantasy Tactics job planned for Final Fantasy XIV.
Even the description implies that this class was gonna be pretty similar to other casters
in the game.
Seeing as Mystics in Final Fantasy Tactics primarily attacked with negative status effects,
it's safe to assume the Arcanist and Summoner replaced the need for Mystic.
In the game's code there was also the mention of Assassin.
There is no information on this class, but it's again safe to assume that Ninja covers
the need for Assassin, hence why it was scrapped.
There is also a mention of flayer and shepherd.
These were two disciple of land classes planned for the game.
We know the shepherd was indeed planned, because their guild icon and building was already
in place in Falcon's Nest in Coerthas, however they were later scrapped.
These two classes were supposed to supply crafters with leather and wool.
Instead, today we have to farm karakuls and peistes ourselves to get the desired materials.
That's it for this episode!
Thank you so much for watching.
Leave a like if you enjoyed and subscribe for more.
And let me know what you thought about this episode!
And let's talk about the classes we never got in the comments!
Anyone of them you really want in-game?
Any theories as to how some of them would work?
I'm curious!
Anyway, I'll be back next week with another episode of Remnants of a Realm!
See you then, and may you ever walk in the light of the Crystal!

Why I Don't Do VEDA | Kate's Adventures - Duration: 5:17.
Hi everyone! It's coming up to that time of year again where everybody participates in VEDA.
If you haven't heard of VEDA, it's "Video Every Day in April"
and similar versions happen throughout the year
where people take on a challenge to upload a video every single day of the month.
Now I've been on YouTube two years, I've seen plenty of VEDAs and similar things happen,
I've seen a lot of people have a lot of great fun,
but it's not something I've ever participated in myself
and it's not something that I plan to participate in any time soon.
So today I just wanted to share some of my reasons as to why I don't do VEDA.
Whenever I think about VEDA, there are two big reasons that come into my mind
as to why it would be unrealistic for me to take part and the first one is to do with content.
Now I've done daily vlogs before, I do a sort of daily vlog whenever I go on holiday
and the videos that come out of that can sometimes be like 15 to 20 minutes long.
It can sometimes be really difficult to get everything that's happened
and everything that's captured into 15 to 20 minutes.
But that's when I'm on holiday, that's when I'm exploring new places
that's when I'm doing something adventurous.
Most of the time on a day off
I'm just sitting at home, just having what I consider to be a regular day
and that would mean that if I were to do VEDA,
I would probably be doing little videos about whatever's on my mind.
I really don't have that much on my mind!
After a week the videos would probably start to dwindle down in quality
and I don't really want to subject anybody to 30 videos of me just babbling nonsense.
My second reason for missing out on VEDA
is probably the reason that a lot of people skip videos during VEDA
or miss out on VEDA altogether or quit VEDA
and that is the amount of time and commitment that doing 30 videos a month would take.
If you've never tried to make a YouTube video before,
with all due respect you're probably underestimating how long it takes
and how complicated it can be.
And another thing that I do on my videos that a lot of people choose to skip out is captioning
and that takes a lot of time too but I really feel like I'm not comfortable
with a video going live until it has captions on it.
I've had to do it a couple of times and I feel so so bad whenever I have to do it.
I like people to be able to understand what I'm saying one hundred percent
and have all the tools that they need to understand what I'm saying.
So VEDA is a video every day and that's not just filming, that's not just editing
that's having it up every single day and that's why VEDA's a challenge,
that's why people drop out. It's genuinely something that cannot be underestimated
and I know that for me personally I would find it very stressful
having to constantly think of deadlines and having to constantly work within such big pressure.
It's just not something that I would find enjoyable.
I have so much respect for everybody who's giving VEDA a go.
If you're a creator who's doing VEDA I wish you the very best of luck,
I hope you have a great time during April, I hope you learn lots as a creator
and things that maybe help you out with YouTube. I just hope you have a great time.
VEDA for me isn't going to be possible in the traditional sense,
but I'll maybe try and find a way to join in in my own little way.
I'll maybe write down like a different video idea every day or I'll maybe find a video to caption every day
I haven't really decided yet but I'd love to do something in April
that kind of helps me to grow my YouTube channel in my own little way
and kind of join in with the fun in my own little game. I don't really know what I'm going to do.
So if anybody has ideas of how I can join in VEDA without joining in VEDA, put them down below.
Um also if anybody's going to be watching VEDA, if anybody
has any suggestions of who I should be watching during VEDA, put them down below too,
I'd love to hear your suggestions. I find that I watch a lot during VEDA.
As don't really film...as much, definitely not as much as anybody doing VEDA.
So thank you so so much for watching and enjoy April. Thanks everyone, cheerio!
I can't believe it's been like almost two years since I started my YouTube channel.
It's went so quickly but then I've got over 150 videos like where did they come from?
How did that happen?! It's like somebody just went snap and I'm here.
However long you've been here, thank you for watching. That's really cool of you. Cheerio.

Airsoft Guns vs Real Guns - Duration: 4:44.
What's up guys!
Today I have a chance to spend the time with my friends in the shooting range.
I got the idea (nothing original) to compare the real guns and the airsoft guns.
So, let's watch it!
Now it's time for Myth Busters.
Let see if the helmet withstands the real bullet.
Don't aim any gun at people and watch the trigger discipline!
There is no respawn in the real life.
Thank you for watching!
I hope you enjoyed the video, because I did.
And I hope my friends as well, they are still alive.
Don't forget. Safety first.
I am looking forward for the next video. Bye!

GW2 - Horizontal and Vertical Progression - Duration: 3:17.
Guild Wars 2: Vertical and Horizontal Progression
So hey guys!
As this is the first video of the channel I want to talk about Vertical and Horizontal
Progression in Guild Wars 2.
So what are these two progressions?
Vertical progression is progression where your character becomes more powerful over
time.
To give a simple example, think of the different types of gear available in the game.
There's Basic, Fine, Masterwork, Rare, Exotic, Ascended, Legendary with the notice that the
differences between the last two are not in the stats.
So in this case vertical progression would mean that you are trying to acquire for your
character more powerful items than it currently has.
If you'd have Rares and go for Exotics or if you'd have Exotics and go for Ascended,
this is vertical progression.
Gathering Hero Points to fully unlock your character's traits, utilities and elite specialization
is also a type of vertical progression.
Getting equipment on a character and adding sigils, stat infusions and runes on it is
also vertical progression.
Or just, level up.
Simply put, vertical progression is when you are making your character more powerful so
it can kill stuff much easier.
Then what is horizontal progression?
Horizontal progression is progression without the need to make your character more powerful,
but instead giving it more abilities or options.
In Guild Wars 2, The Mastery system is the perfect example of Horizontal progression.
Once you finish leveling your character to 80, all the experince you will get in the
future will no longer apply to the vertical progression of your character but instead
will switch to a horizontal progression which are the mastery tracks.
So, how does this not make my character more powerful in a "brute-force" way?
Well the abilities you get are not meant to increase the power of your character.
Think of Gliding, or the ability to use Jumping Mushrooms or some portals in open world (Nuhoch
Wallows).
The good and the bad of horizontal and vertical progression.
Vertical progression provides a strong and solid form of progression, but at some point
players might lose their interest to chase new gear, new levels.
Simply put, to chase the carrot.
Horizontal progression offers more things to do without impacting the power of the characters,
but it does not hold the attention of players like the vertical progression.
Guild Wars 2 came with an interesting idea to balance the vertical and horizontal progression
by removing some of their weakness points.
The term that becomes more frequently used is "Auto Balancing System".
For example, if you get a character to max level and you return in one of the starter
zones in a lower level map you get automatically scaled to that maps level so that zone is
no longer negated once you pass it's level.
So by removing a weakness of the vertical progression a certain zone is no longer negated.
This will be all in this video; I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions about the
the horizontal and vertical progression in Guild Wars 2 and see you next time.

THE SHERIFF CAME TO

SHE EVEN USED
TWO CUSS WORDS.
WE SAW ABOUT 80

AFTERNOON.
SEVERAL OF THEM
WALKING UP TO THE PODIUM ONE BY

LIVES TO TAKE AND PROTECT OUR
RIGHTS AS CITIZENS OF THE UNITED
STATES NEED TO HAVE THE
PROTECTION.

THE DAY HE WILL STOP IN
MCALLISTER.

Average Is For The WEAK! - Student Motivational Video - Duration: 4:53.
You've gotta wake up early
I don't mean just on weekdays, I mean every day
You've gotta value work, more than you value sleep
Changing your behaviours, overcoming negative habits
It's challenging
It's hard
Very few people are willing to endure the pain
and sacrifice, of what it takes to be great
They settle for average
Average is dangerous
Average is for the weak
Some of you are lying to yourself
You say you wanna be great
You say you wanna get to the next level
You say you wanna be the best in your class
or the best in your school, you wanna do great things
but your actions don't match your words
There are those of you with phones
and with every new phone that comes out you get it
every upgrade you get it
every piece of software you get it
You're upgrade your technology but you're not upgrading yourself
You've gotta invest in yourself, don't let yourself be average
the average waste their lives away every weekend for what?
Not me! I'm in charge of my own life
Everything in my own life
that I'm not happy with if my own fault
I take responsibility
You will never hear me complain about my circumstances
as the reason why I'm not where I want to be
If I don't like where I am
I'll work harder
I am a perfect reflection of the hard work
or lack of work I put in
Your commitment and obsession should always be
to be better today than you were yesterday
When you look at the lives of the greatest men and women the world has produced
one thing is common among them all
You see relentless, sickening work ethic!
To get to the top, you have to skip hanging out with friends
watching TV, and wasting your time on meaningless things
Great students marry their books
they hustle for knowledge, just as billionaires
hustle for opportunities
While others are sleeping
they're working
while others are playing video games
they're learning
when others are out drinking and doing other things that don't count
they're studying
Learn from them
Follow in their footsteps
Stand on the shoulders of giants. Get a head start
Go grab your books, go to the library
and start exploring the world
My mother told me that readers are leaders
and that has proved itself today
If you go through life just trying to stay comfortable
life will send you more and more discomfort
You'll get more and more problems
Life will keep trying to drag you down
and because more people are so concerned about
staying comfortable instead of growing
and reaching higher because they don't want to move beyond their limitations
they keep struggling
Do you think Bill Gates started Microsoft
feeling comfortable about it?
Do you think Usain Bolt
slept his way to becoming the fastest man?
Do you think Will Smith
procrastinated his way to the top?
Of course not!
They worked.
If you think that things are going to fall into place magically
If you think you will do it later
If you keep procrastinating
If you're waiting for that perfect time
You are deceiving yourself
You have to create that perfect time
When are you going to stand up and start hustling?
I have met students who are lazy
Students that bask in that euphoria that
everything is going to be okay in the end
students who do nothing to change things
Students that only dream
Students that have only wishes
This time
You're going to tell your teachers
your classmates
that here I come!
I have come to win
to excel, to look down on my weaknesses
and make them my strengths
Turn off the phone, the TV
and the laptop
I'm heading to the library
You are heading for success
You are heading for greatness
It's in your hands
How much more time are you willing to waste?
How much more time are you willing to burn?
Wake up!
WAKE UP!
If you have to make sacrifices
to be where you want to be
so be it
If you have to tell your friends you can't go out drinking with them anymore, so be it.
You are not average
Do you want to see average?
Look out the window
Everyone you see
They're average
Not you
That's not you!
