are a great way for you to elevate your
visual brand so you can stand out in your
crowded industry, but you're not quite
sure how patterns and textures can come
into play for your own brand. keep

patterns and textures in your visual

on this channel i share brand tips and
tutorials that empower online business
owners like yourself to purposefully
define, design, and develop their brand so
they can captivate their dream audience
and stand out in their industry. so how
can you incorporate patterns and
textures into your visual brand? let's
take a look at a few examples of what
some other brands are doing to help you
get your wheels turning. one of the
easiest ways to use patterns and
textures is on your website. this is one
of my favorite websites I created for a
client. we decided to use the patterned
background to dress the website up and
make it unique from other websites in my
client's industry. you can also use
patterns in more subtle areas on your
website like buttons or dividers. here is
another client project where we used
pattern in a totally different way. if
you communicate with vendors or other
business owners. or you have client
welcome kits... you can incorporate your
brand patterns on note cards, business
cards or envelope liners as you see here.
next you can incorporate patterns and
textures into packaging. I love this
example by mast brothers chocolate. they
have a simple and clean logo, but really
play up the patterns in their chocolate
bar wrappers. it seriously makes me want
to collect all these chocolate bars because
the packaging is so fun and different
from all the other candy bars you're
used to seeing. and finally, if you have a
physical space like a store or office...
patterns would be great to incorporate
into your store front or interior. here
is an example of baccarat's storefront in
New York. their logo is elegant yet
simple and the triangular pattern really
dresses up the front of the store and
draws customers in. here is another
example from the rifle paper company
studio. they have used one of their
wallpaper designs in their Lobby. the
wallpaper sets the mood when you
enter the studio and makes the interior
space truly on brand. these are only a
few examples of ways you can use
patterns and textures in your brand, but
the sky is the limit. get creative!
