Do believe you should include all students
And I do try to find ways to make sure that all students are included
We do circle time every morning and all students are involved and they do share whatever the topic is
They share and I have trained them to to be more of a listener than a speaker, and I tell them every day
that's why we have two ears and
a lot of times when we come to maybe a student that has
Challenges the other students will actually happen and start explaining the question or trying to help them
So it's really it's a way to include everyone, and they they've learned that just everybody has has the same
The same rights and the same privilege to be in the classroom and that works all a team and
There's just really no judging
So I think that's the circle time and the team-building time is it's just vital really important to build that classroom
integrity in that classroom
team
Also I try to keep them in the classroom as much as possible if there are ever any issues
I have a special ed teacher that has a room down the way down the hall from me
and
What I do is
I try to phone her to come in instead of pulling the child out and a lot of times
we will kind of handle the situation right inside the classroom I
Have a student now too that has some anger issues and who often will do things to other students
But they understand that that's just part of his disability and of course
safety as well, but as long as it's
Okay, it's not not safe. The students will really try to talk to him
to him and say, it's
Just a game, but everybody is a winner and they sort of will try and like talk to him out of his anger, too
so I think they just really learned that we're all different we all have special needs and
we just learned to really embrace those differences and
Come together and and help each other out. I guess that would be the advice
I'd have done all new teachers include all the students no matter
race ability
Age all of those things really the students will amaze you
