Are you struggling to get more views on your newly uploaded videos? Do you want

this video I'm going to show you how to feature a video or playlist across all

the videos on your YouTube channel. Here's how the featured content banner

subscribers on autopilot hit the subscribe button or hit the bell

notification icon featured content is the best way to promote your content to

all of your fans it enables you to embed a video or playlist across all the

videos on your channel this ensures returning subscribers to see your

featured content first here's how to enable featured content from your channel

settings from your channel home page click on the video manager click the

drop-down next to Channel click featured content okay I've already got a

featured video here so let's remove that let's click remove that says feature one

of your videos or playlists across all of your videos click featured content I

can select most recent upload or choose a video or playlist I'm gonna select

choose a video playlist I'm gonna select "translate videos" because we want to

boost refused to that newly uploaded video click Save the display time can be

the end of the video or a custom start time I'll select custom start time

up for 30 seconds so it appears after my intro check optimize timing it says "if

as you can see I've already got a video here for my returning subscribers. To

change this I just hover over the pencil icon click the trash icon to delete it

click on the pencil icon again click "feature content" now you can feature a

video or playlist. You can put your URL in the bottom here

click Save you can add a heading for this content I'm gonna put promote your

videos click Save you can see I've got "promote your videos" on top here it says

notice featured content won't show if you're live streaming and I've also got

this box checked. "Also show this on all my uploads" if you don't want to feature a

video or playlist for returning subscribers then it will default to your

latest upload or latest activity click "done" Now you can see for returning

subscribers I've got "promote your videos" how to advertise on YouTube for

beginners. For non-subscribers they'll see my channel trailer

but once they subscribe they'll now see my featured content video. Here's some important

things to keep in mind you're not allowed to use featured content to sell

sponsorships advertising or promotions this would violate YouTube's Terms of

Service and result in the loss of this tool or the loss of your account if any

of the videos on your channel use cards then the featured content won't appear

you can check the performance of your featured content by clicking on the

annotations link in YouTube analytics Just click annotations click annotation

type and here you see the featured video and you see the annotation clicks clicks

for a clickable annotation shown annotation closes and close rate. If

you click on featured video you'll be able to see the geography the date

subscription status and device type click the card icon to download my
