5 WAYS TO PROTECT CHILDREN FROM BRAIN DAMAGING TOXINS - Duration: 9:09.

5 WAYS TO PROTECT CHILDREN FROM BRAIN-DAMAGING TOXINS.

Having a child is often considered to be one of the most joyous moments in a parents

life, but it can also be one of the most stressful.

One common stressor is the risk of your little one coming into contact with harmful toxins.

Many new parents, in fact, rate this as the biggest source of concern in the first few

years of having a newborn.

Exposure to harmful toxins can happen in many ways.

Some toys, even though they are specifically designed for babies, can contain toxins.

Equally, a lot of processed foods can contain obscure chemicals and additives.

A recent Forbes article points to research that suggests chemicals in toys and food may

be contributing to what scientists are calling the global, silent pandemic of neurodevelopmental

toxicity.

Limiting exposure to toxins is especially important for babies because they are still

developing.

As such, their immune systems are less able to fight potentially damaging toxins than

a fully grown adults.

And while you may be able to limit your own exposure to toxins by being careful about

the products you use, the fact that children put everything in their mouths means that

everything they are close to needs to be safe!

So how do you limit your childs exposure to harmful toxins?

You could, of course, uproot your whole family and move to a pure, beautiful spot in the

countryside.

Alternatively, you could keep your kid in a hermetically sealed box for the first few

months!

For most parents, though, these are not realistic options.

Instead, follow these five steps to drastically reduce your childs exposure to harmful

chemicals:

Instead, follow these five steps to drastically reduce your childs exposure to harmful

chemicals:

advertisement - learn more Create a healthy nursery

Trust the experts Go organic

Check the label Heed your intuition

Lets take a closer look at each step.

Create a Healthy Nursery

The importance of designing and creating a healthy nursery cannot be overstated.

The nursery is the place where your child is going to spend the most time during the

first few months and years of their life, so you want to create a space that is as free

from harmful toxins as is humanly possible.

Nowadays, thankfully, this can be relatively easy.

Our increased awareness of the effects of harmful toxins on children has led to many

manufacturers producing nursery products that are free of dangerous and unnecessary chemicals.

Everything from the mattress your little one sleeps on to the paint you use to decorate

their room is now rigorously tested, and comes with guarantees that it will not expose your

child to synthetic chemicals.

Do Your Research

A little research can go a long way when it comes to reducing your childs exposure

to potentially harmful toxins.

Even a few minutes spent reading about the products you are planning to buy can afford

great peace of mind, because you can be sure that every item your child comes into contact

with has been approved by experts.

Medical authority sites like Parenting.com, and reputable review sites such as Kokopax,

are good places to start your research.

The best review sites rate the products they review by speaking to real parents, so you

can be sure that the opinions you are reading can be trusted.

Many parents now prioritize limiting their childrens exposure to harmful toxins when

considering which products to buy, so most trusted review sites will take this into account.

Go Organic

Of course, harmful toxins do not only reside in the toys, bedding, and paint that your

child comes into contact with they can be in the food they eat, too.

Many parents have accordingly decided to go organic to avoid exposing their children to

pesticides.

Food manufacturers have caught onto this fashion, and so wherever you are, you should be able

to find good-quality organic baby food, even when your child is really small.

Look for the mark of your local organic certifying authority, and you can be sure that the food

you are buying is free from pesticides and other nasty chemicals.

Check the Label

This might sound obvious, but it is something that is easy to forget in the first few months

of having a newborn child.

This can be an extremely busy, stressful time for many parents, but taking a few minutes

to read the label of the items you buy for your child will make a big difference in their

health and in your own peace of mind.

Nowadays, everything from baby formula to mattresses must, by law, say what it is made

from.

Checking the label is therefore the easiest, most direct way to see if there are any harmful

toxins in these items.

Trust Your Gut

Ultimately, trust yourself.

Test a few different products, and find the ones that work for you and your child.

New parents soon develop an almost supernatural ability to detect chemicals and toxins, becoming

almost a part of their childrens immune system!

If a product has an unpleasant chemical smell, or you simply do not trust it for whatever

reason, listen to your gut.

In the end, nothing can replace your finely-honed instincts as a new parent.

Following these rules can significantly reduce your childs exposure to harmful toxins.

Make sure you create a healthy nursery, use review sites to do your research, consider

going organic, and always read the label.

Ultimately, though, trust yourself and your instincts.

Hey.

We need to talk about the other night.

Yeah, I figured this was bigger than an around the bathroom sink or blender conversation.

I need to know what you're gonna do with your phone.

You know that's none of your business.

Maybe not mine, but I'm on my way to a safehouse somewhere full of people who will make it theirs.

Has yours even run yet?

Yours hasn't?

I'm sorry, look, seperating our work and our relationship is getting harder.

The mission will end being at the farmland.

We won't.

No matter what's happening, that doesn't change how we feel about each other.

Not yet.

(cell phone buzzing) Please, go ahead.

No, no, you go first.

How about I just see you back there?

Yeah, okay, I'll go west.

Yep.

Yeah.

Clever girl.

10 Popular Actors Who Lost Control And Took It Too Far - Duration: 7:20.

Actors get paid to pretend they're someone else, and when they're totally overtaken

by their own performances, unexpected things can— and will— happen.

Some of the best cinematic moments have come from on-set surprises.

If you like what you're about to see, head over to our YouTube channel and take a look

at some of our other videos, and hit "subscribe" if you like what you see.

Here are ten popular actors who lost control and took it too far.

Seth Rogen, The Interview Once a movie is released, the creators have

very little control over what happens next.

Sometimes it makes it all the way through production and gets shut down just before

crossing the finish line.

Directors Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg know this all too well, and if you've ever heard

of 2014's The Interview, then you do too.

The story centers on a producer and TV host who travel to North Korea, and are given the

assignment to kill Kim Jong-Un.

As you can probably imagine, the real Kim Jong-Un wasn't a fan of the storyline.

And threatened retaliation if the movie were to be released- saying all publicity for the

movie would be considered an act of terrorism.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Django Unchained Over the course of his career, Leonardo DiCaprio

has cemented his reputation as a serious actor.

He's a profitable Hollywood star and he's been in some of the best films of the past

decade.

While his roles have been varied, his turn as Calvin Candie in Django Unchained was the

first time the renowned actor got to be the bad guy.

And he was really, REALLY good at it.

DiCaprio got so deep into the character that when he sliced his hand open on a broken glass

during one rant, he didn't even notice.

Nothing looks better than the real thing, so obviously Tarantino chose that take for

the final cut.

Isla Fisher, Now You See Me Everyone loves a good underwater trick.

But because of their environment, safety crews sometimes have a difficult time figuring out

where the acting ends and real distress begins.

During the filming of her scene in the opening montage of Now You See Me, actress Isla Fisher

almost drowned after getting tangled up in her submerged chains.

Since that's also what's happening to her character at the time, people on set have

admitted to not knowing if Fisher needed assistance for real, or if she was just a really great

actress.

Thankfully, the actress was able to untangle her own chains before the situation turned

fatal.

George Clooney, Syriana George Clooney is one of the most popular

actors in Hollywood history.

So, of everyone on this list, you might think that production would work the hardest to

keep him safe.

But nevertheless, as we've seen before, accidents have a way of happening regardless.

While filming a torture scene for Syriana, the actor flipped his chair just a little

too hard, and the result was an injury so horrific the actor has openly discussed how

the pain of it made him contemplate suicide.

The actor went some time without knowing what was wrong, but after getting checked out it

was learned that he was leaking spinal fluid.

We're not medical professionals, but even we know that's not good.

Like, really, really, not good.

Jason Statham, Expendables 3 Everything about Jason Statham screams "cool".

His accent, attitude, and ability to kick anyone's ass are all intimidating traits,

to say the least.

Oh, and he does all his own stunt work.

Not many actors can say that.

Statham comes from a background of lower-budget fare, and got used to the risky maneuvers.

But when filming Expendables 3, the actor almost met his maker.

The stunt was rigged so that a truck he was driving would stop, allowing him to get out

and start shooting.

Except that the truck didn't stop.

And when it went over the edge into the black sea, it took the actor with it.

This is where normal people might start pooping their pants, but not Statham.

The former champion diver got out and swam to safety like it was no big deal.

Channing Tatum, Foxcatcher Channing Tatum has been in movies all over

the map.

The actor can handle comedy, drama, and action to be sure.

For his role in Foxcatcher, the actor got deep into character.

So deep that he actually put his face through a mirror.

That's right folks, Channing Tatum was so devoted to the role that he put.

his.

face.

through.

a.

mirror.

And even though it was covered with a sheet of plastic, the mirror was a very real one,

and resulted in very real lacerations that bled very real blood.

The actor was so immersed in his performance that he hardly noticed, but nobody on set

could look away.

Ryan Reynolds, Deadpool With the exception of one movie where he dons

a fat suit, Ryan Reynolds has never looked out of shape.

But that doesn't mean he didn't FEEL out of shape.

No stranger to the world of comic book movies, the actor was over the moon to be playing

Deadpool in a right, proper Deadpool story.

Reynolds was so stoked, in fact, that on the first day of his Deadpool workout, the actor

went so hard that he put his back out first thing.

The actor described literally crawling on all fours home from the gym because of the

immense pain.

It's not the first time he's been injured in the line of duty either, he also separated

his shoulder during filming on The Green Lantern.

Jeremy Renner, The Avengers A large part of what makes superheroes "super"

is their ability to run into the middle of a brawl and emerge relatively unscathed.

Sure, caped crusaders end up with some bumps and bruises along the way, but they definitely

don't see it as a reason to slow down.

Except that those near-invincible characters are played by humans, and are therefore susceptible

to things like fatigue, injury, and full-on incapacitation.

This is exactly what happened to mortal man Jeremy Renner while filming The Avengers.

According to Joss Whedon, the actor hurt his back and shoulder badly enough that the movie's

production shut down for days afterward.

Chris Evans, Captain America: Civil War Captain America is an all-around useful guy

to have on your team.

He's in perfect physical condition, wields a vibranium shield, is hella smart, and he's

nice to boot.

Chris Evans plays him so well that it's hard to imagine a time where he wasn't playing

The Captain.

It's a role that has required the actor to stay in shape for years at a time thanks

to the character's prominence in the MCU.

That super-strength has its limits, though.

And as much as we'd like to believe that Evans really CAN stop a helicopter mid-takeoff,

it's just not the reality.

While performing the stunt where Cap' holds onto a rope to do just that, the prop helicopter

slipped in a direction it wasn't supposed to.

And as a result, the actor's arm is messed up— apparently it STILL hurts.

Margot Robbie, The Wolf of Wall Street Margot Robbie's career is so hot right now

that she could probably smack the pope and get away with it.

But back when the actress was filming The Wolf of Wall Street, she was a relative unknown.

Sharing a screen opposite Leonardo DiCaprio is a noob's worst nightmare.

That's the guy from Titanic!

He's a megastar!

We've heard how Robbie downed tequila in preparation for a nude scene, but nothing

could have prepared her for another tense moment on set.

In the heat of her performance, the actress slapped DiCaprio in the face and yelled "fuck

you".

After realizing that face was attached to a multi-billion dollar celebrity, she worried

the actor might sue.

But quite the opposite happened— he was so impressed that he insisted she do it again.

Margot Robbie just can't lose.

Blankpaper | 2016: A Year in Review | My Video Library - Duration: 14:09.

*ENGLISH SUBTITLES STILL IN PROGRESS 😉*

Alrighty.

Hello everyone my name is ZoÃĢ Imani

and you're watching my channel blankpaper

So today, please excuse this jumbo mic in the screen.

I really should probably invest in a lavalier mic.

But, in order to get really crisp audio,

I need to have this mic close to my face.

so, this is just what we're working with today.

But yeah, Hi! How are you guys doing?

I know it's been awhile since I've uploaded a video.

Ii've been putting a lot of thought and planning

into what i want to do this year in 2017.

So, I hope that the wait was worth it.

For this first video, I'm going to be doing a year in review.

Surprise, surprise! I got a bullet journal this year

and i'm trying to do that.

So I'm going to be referencing some notes in here for this video.

Yeah so, let's just jump right into things.

I want to talk a little bit about why i started blank paper,

what my original plans were for this channel, and how I think it's grown this year

or last year in 2016.

so actually have a youtube channel prior

to this one it was called gone imagining

and I honestly did not put a whole lot

of effort into the videos on that

channel it was just something for me to

do so i knew i wanted to create a

channel and a platform where I could

upload work that was genuinely proud of

and that I really spent a lot of time

and effort creating and so that was the

whole point of blank paper to be a

channel in part that point people to you

and say this is me this is what I do and

this is work that I can really proud of

take it or leave it so I wanted to be a

true reflection of me the true

reflection of my best work and I wanted

it to be somewhere where my imagination

could run wild and I didn't put limits

on myself and my creativity so that's

what I did and then I thought it

conceptualising my first videos that

plan all of my videos a month in advance

and

much I planned it out i would determine

all the things i would need all the

props locations what I wanted to look

like in the video how I want the

graphics to be so my first three videos

my self-portrait what is blank paper and

then bail februari kind of were planned

out like that it's funny because looking

back I'm pretty proud of all those

videos but at the time I was really

disappointed and how they turned out

those three videos I think like really

set a tone for my channel and what I

wanted to do moving forward to my next

video was the move board the mood board

was really like an overnight thing i

love when something it has a very

distinct study regardless of what that

is but just when like you see that a lot

of work went into something looking a

certain way and consistently sticking to

that style i chose blank paper because i

felt like it was a name that could grow

with me like regardless of what my

aesthetic wise like because there was

the word blank it kind of like give me a

blank sleep for whatever I wanted to do

the mood board was kind of a show like

that as well where each episode could be

anything like it could look like

anything and embody any aesthetic so the

first one was kind of inspired by the

korean drama cheese in the trap because

as I was watching that I thought the

aesthetic was so distinct they really

had a lot of yellows and blues and felt

like hey why don't I create an aesthetic

around these colors and that's how the

mood board started and i literally plan

that whole video the night before I was

like okay for music I'm going to do this

because these music videos kind of fit

this aesthetic and these are the show

that I want to highlight this is like

the colors i want to highlight and so

forth

I think that was the fastest I've ever

created something and exceeded my

expectations because i was doing it like

that the night before but there's no way

that's going to turn out good because so

often it started a series that I'm

really proud of and is a show that will

be around for awhile on my kindle the

next series but I created was my Japan

travel series this is something I've

been wanting to do for a long time like

it was a year in the will not year in

the making like a year on the Shelf

really because

I'd been to Japan and summer of 2015 and

I wanted to do something like with all

of my good footage from that trip that

really embodies how I felt at the time I

had originally done voiceover telling

stories as i showed the footage i really

liked it but I thought it would be too

long in that people wouldn't watch it

which is funny because I literally have

a show called the mood for that was like

lasting 30 minutes but for some reason I

felt like I needed content on my channel

that was a lot more short form so i

ended up just doing like title cards the

problem with doing that was in order for

the title cards to be visible on every

shot I have to state the video so the

title cards would stand out

I wish that I had kind of gone with my

original idea and then came the great

creative block again and there was so

much I want to be but I felt like I just

couldn't make things at the quality that

i wanted i was living at home in the

suburbs I felt like I just didn't have

this piece that I needed to create the

kind of videos that i want it so this

was like not really doing anything and

then i moved which was crazy and totally

unexpected like kind of happened a bit

on him when like it was like a month in

planning it wasn't like like the next to

hear anything i think when i was first

doing videos like you see my bedroom and

how it looked it was so different from

what I envisioned for blank paper

because blank paper was be queen suite

minimal and fun if you're working me I

would have been in front of like a white

wall like very clean lines like clean

modern furniture and like all these

different stuff but that was like not

myspace at all at home so when I moved

it was like oh my gosh

whitewalls home as you can see behind me

it's actually not quite it's more like

eggshell but the guy that created like

an aesthetic sure you can really see it

in that first update video after that

like i did my back to school series

which was like a huge shift in my

channel because i did my first ASMR

videos which I was so proud of and so

happy that was brave enough to do this

thing that I thought people would think

was the weird i got a really great

response in that series

in fact my how to take notes video is

like most watched video on my channel

then came another hurt creator friday i

was starting to feel a bit dissatisfied

with how much my channel was starting to

feel like work because at the time when

i create my back to school series i was

actually really sick i had like chronic

sinusitis and it was really painful and

so making videos took so much effort and

time that I felt like I really didn't

have the energy for and I just wanted a

channel where I could just like turn on

the camera and just start talking and it

did it have to always be all this effort

that i had originally been putting into

my videos so that's when I started let's

chat I just thought it was important to

have something like that so when I was

in moments like that that I knew I could

always just turn on the camera and talk

to you guys and then in that same thing

I did the fashion tab which was another

like kind of just sit down talk video I

felt like it really captured my style

well so i can always look back and know

hey at 23 this is what my style was like

accomplishment that I'm most proud of

from 2016 is the first episode of season

two of the mood board

oh man this was like a project that I

worked so hard on and i planned for so

long I had this idea and at first i was

like i don't have a coffee shop this one

that so this isn't going to work next

I remember that day I just like no one

is looking to see you know what coffee

shops are around the worst that can

happen is they say no and then I could

say alright i have no coffee shops to

film at then I found this one coffee

shop and it just was perfect i actually

call them several times and email them

multiple times and like I was not

hearing back and I was getting really

discouraged and then one day I got the

call at least expecting a lot like

christmas and it was the manager or the

director of coffee shop and he was like

yeah that's fine might come in and you

know we can talk about the logistics of

everything and like are you serious

they really worked out i was working on

the graphics for that video like

a month in advance like before it even

came out so i have like the framework of

everything made me realize like how

great video can come out when you really

plan which is ironic because after that

came my two weeks of daily blank paper

that was my one disappointment of the

year I just kind of got a spike in

subscribers like after my back to school

series because of you know just being

well time and SEO and all that stuff I

felt like I had to take advantage of

that momentum and I was like man I need

to be more present i need to be more

relevant what I'm doing is just not

enough for my channel I have so many

ideas that don't get executed those like

I need to do shorter video homes that I

can you do and get my ideas out there

because like I'm never going to get to

some of these concepts and ideas if i'm

working at the pace that i'm working at

so it's like either you can want things

to be perfect and never uploaded video

or you can give your ideas a cancer and

just create something and be okay with

outcomes there were other reasons but I

think I i explained that in a previous

video I just felt like I really abandon

my original mission statement and my

original intentions going into blank

paper because I always wanted to be work

that was really proud of that I could

point to you and if anyone asked me what

I did I could show them and say this is

me this is my work and I'm really proud

of it some of those videos I was not at

all satisfied with the final execution

I just think at this point I'm realizing

i really value the quality of my content

over the quantity of it when i first

became interested in YouTube in like

2007 which is almost 10 years ago

no it is can you why that's ten years

ago

oh my god when i first became interested

in you 10 years ago and then really

super interested like in 2010 as a

career path

it was just it was like while these

people get on here and they just do what

they wanted you I went to school for

film and it is so hard to break into the

film industry especially as a minority

as a black woman

today I see a lot more black woman and

film and media doing things but when i

was a freshman in college I i don't

think i could have thought of anyone

even if there was someone that was like

one or two people and they seem

exceptional you know when you don't

necessarily know you know if you're

exceptional when you're just starting

out only seeing people on YouTube for

successful who were like just like me

were just normal people who were

creating content that would never make

it onto primetime television it just all

seems that possible and they were doing

exactly what they wanted I think now

it's like there is a game to youtube it

kind of defeats the whole purpose

because it's like if I have to get on

here and like play this game and you

know do things for likes and shares and

subscribers the original purpose of

being on YouTube because you could

simply create the content that you

wanted it just it's not there anymore I

just feel like you have to stick to your

guns and stick to your convictions and

good things will follow and you can't

listen to you the noise and like

everyone telling you you have to do

things this way you have to do things

that way if you want to be successful I

think you have to do things the way that

you you were supposed to the purpose

that you feel that you know you were put

on this earth for only you really like

since that inside of you and you just

listen to like all the noise out here

like people saying what you have to do

then that purpose is going to get lost

in all of that that's just kind of the

realization i guess i came to you after

taking a break and i just realized i

just want to create the content that i

want to create and the content i want

others to see I certainly don't just

create content for me i create content

that i want to have an impact on others

and you know make them feel a certain

way and make them think about certain

things and dream I realize like that's

Priority One on my channel

ultimately you got to do what you know

in your heart is right

yeah that is kind of like my year and

review for blank paper there was like a

lot more that I want to talk about but

i'll have to cut it short actually have

to head out to do some errands and a

little bit so that's going to be all for

now

yeah I'm just I'm something for that you

guys found something special in my

content enough to subscribe to me and

decided to watch me so thank you so much

i really appreciate it and we look

forward to more content from my channel

in the future I just hope that you all

stay tuned and I'll see you in next 15
