Today we're going to try and solve one of the problems

we ganja farmers have when we go on holiday: who's doing the watering?

One solution is to use drip irrigation.

Let me introduce you to the Top Spin Medusa with 12 drippers.

One outlet for water and one dripper for each pot.

Fitting the TopSpin to the water circuit is very easy, we simply install

the unit in line with the intake here and the outlet here if we want to,

for example, continue the water circuit or install various Top Spins in line.

How do we connect it? It's very easy. Unscrew one of the two sides

and insert the water supply hose in that side.

So we connect the 25mm hose and tighten it firmly

so that when it's running it won't drip.

And then the same on the other side, which is the outlet.

In the outlet, as I mentioned, we can either connect to other units

or simply close the circuit. We can do that, for example,

by taking a length of hose like this, with a Water Stop at one end,

which stops the flow of water if there's nothing connected to it.

Okay then, this side connects exactly the same as the intake side,

insert the hose and tighten firmly.

Once it's fully screwed in and tight it'll be perfectly secure and safe

to start running it inside the grow room.

Here we have it, now let's see how we fit it in the grow tent…

We've got the Top Spin installed in the grow tent now

and as you'll see, drip irrigation is very easy,

we've got the water intake, the outlet and each dripper connected to a pot.

In this case they're small pots, because we're planting some cuttings,

but this irrigation system works equally well for any size pot.

All we need to do now is to fit the water intake with a programmer

or a flow controller, or both, so we can relax and stop worrying

about watering when we don't have time or we're away on holiday.

It can also be used to optimise our cultivation,

without our needing to be away from home, so in this way we will know

that we're giving the necessary water at the right moment.
