Hello! My name is Shengjie Ma.

And I am grateful to have this opportunity to introduce myself.

I think that my uniqueness lies in my deep understanding of an old Chinese saying:

read thousands of books, and travel thousands of places.

I've been to more than 40 countries in the world

and one of the most important lessons I've learned

is that communication is the key to mutual understanding

I've also been to many rural areas in China,

where not many people have paid much attention to.

All these experiences have taught me how complicated our world is

I believe my personal experience can bring a different perspective to my potential classmates

when discussing world issues

It would be a great honor for me to become a member of NYU Wagner community.

WATCH: Video Shows Edmonton Police Officer Hit by Car, Stabbed [GRAPHIC]

Edmonton Police have released a graphic video showing a police officer being struck by a car and then stabbed in what investigators believe to be a terror attack, the CBC reports.

The police officer was at a barricade near Commonwealth Stadium in downtown Edmonton about 8:15 p.m. Saturday while a Canadian Football League game was being played.

The video, which you can watch above, shows a car speeding towards the officer and then hitting him, sending him flying through the air and onto a sidewalk.

Bystanders are then seen running to provide aid, as the driver of the car gets out and moves toward the officer. The bystanders can then be seen running away, and police say that was because the driver started to stab the officer.

After a struggle, the suspect fled on foot.

"A male believed to be 30 years old then jumped out of his vehicle and viciously attacked the Edmonton Police Service member with a knife," Edmonton Police Chief Rod Knecht said at a press conference.

"A struggle then ensued, during which the male suspect stabbed the officer several times before fleeing the scene on foot, northbound down 92nd Street.

The officer was hospitalized, but his injuries are not expected to be life-threatening. About midnight, a U-Haul truck was pulled over in the north part of Edmonton, the CBC reports.

The officer recognized the name of the driver as being similar to the registered owner of the car that struck the officer, according to the CBC. The U-Haul driver fled from the scene, with more than 20 police vehicles pursuing him.

The truck then struck multiple pedestrians before flipping over on Jasper Avenue, police said. Witnesses told the CBC that the truck's driver was intentionally trying to hit people.

The suspect, identified as Abdulahi Hasan Sharif, was taken into custody after the truck crash, but he has not been identified.

An ISIS flag was found inside the car that struck the police officer during the first incident, the Edmonton Journal reports.  The man was known to police before the attacks, the police chief said.

"It is believed at this time that these two incidents are related," Knecht told reporters. "It was determined that these incidents are being investigated as acts of terrorism.". Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issued a statement Sunday.

"The Government of Canada and Canadians stand with the people of Edmonton after the terrorist attack on Saturday," he said. "I am deeply concerned and outraged by this tragedy.

"Our thoughts are with those injured, their family and friends, and all those affected by this senseless act of violence. While the investigation continues, early reports indicate that this is another example of the hate that we must remain ever vigilant against.

The RCMP and the Edmonton Police Service, through the Integrated National Enforcement Team, are working closely together to bring those involved to justice.

"We cannot – and will not – let violent extremism take root in our communities. We know that Canada's strength comes from our diversity, and we will not be cowed by those who seek to divide us or promote fear.".

do it I would like to show you allowed to give you the steps I just want you to

follow me follow these steps first open Google or any browsers that you have

step 2 go go to Google and the search bar type Google Drive step 3

hit enter after you hit enter you will see Google Drive link you will see more

than one but I want you to click the first one the first one will take you to

Google Drive page at the middle of the page you will see a blue button that say

go to drive I want you to click - click the bottom it will take you to

the to the Google account sign in page you need to sign in into your Google

account I hope that you have a Google account if you don't have one you might

need to create one it is easy it's not difficult it's just like we have an

email and email address then click Next the next step on the top left corner

click the blue new button that you see

then scroll down scroll down until you see file upload what you need to do

click file upload then double click on the document that you want to upload go

back to Google Drive page if you want to see the document that you just upload

on the left side click the button that's it we said it will open the page that

will show you all your recent uploads

this is my presentation for today my name is Sonel Mesadieu and I hope that

to Google Drive remember that Google Drive is a very very important tool

something that you can use that will help you to save many many many

documents most of the time we lost most of our documents because we don't have a

place to save them but with Google Drive you have a chance now to save some of

your work some of your assignment some of your even a homework, quizzes things

that you want to you want to save pictures whatever because Google Drive

give you enough memory to save family story, pictures and everything that you

want to save. I hope that you learned from this presentation and you take it
