Hello Kids..
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star…How we wonder what they are!!
Indeed!!
What is there behind these stars?
This question has always made the humans wonder.
A constant research has been going on behind Planets, Universe & Galaxies.
So let's learn more about Universe and Galaxy in today's video.
Universe means "The whole World" or "Brahmmand" in Hindi
which consists of Stars, Galaxies, Planets, Space dust, Meteorites etc.
Well, most astronomers believe that the Universe began with a Big Bang about 14 billion years ago.
Our Universe was inside a small bubble at that point in time and compared to today,
it's size was thousand times smaller than a pinhead.
This tiny Universe was dense and hotter than anything we can imagine.
Then it suddenly exploded & the Universe that we know was born and it kept on growing and it is still expanding
Scientists believe that as time passed and matter cooled
Various kinds of atoms began to form, and they eventually condensed into
the stars and galaxies of our present universe.
It is believed that the universe is so vast that it has no center and is constantly getting
bigger every second, making it impossible to reach the edge.
On the other hand.. a Galaxy is a massive group of Stars, Star Clusters, Interstellar gas and dust,
Which exists between stars and dark matter which is all gravitationally bound together.
It includes living things, planets, stars, other galaxies, light, and even time.
The Universe contains billions of such galaxies, which in turn contains millions or billions of stars.
It is believed that there are mainly three types of galaxies in the space,
which are named after their shapes
Elliptical
Spiral
Irregular
Based on their shapes, Astronauts have researched and found numerous galaxies like..Milky Way Galaxy,
Andromeda Galaxy, Black Eye Galaxy, Whirpool Galaxy, Leo 1 & 2, Centaurus A etc.
The Galaxy that we live in is Milky Way Galaxy
We hope that you enjoyed the trip to Universe & Galaxies.
