Would you like to know how to find out who likes and dislike your videos on YouTube

Here I'm gonna show you how you can find out okay

First let's go to creator studio

I an in creator studio now, go to community, you know in

community it is exactly where you can find who comment on your video, all the

comments are right here from each video that the person comments on

I have the first comment let's see, that was two days ago

today is July 28th if it was two days ago so it been like it was a July 26 and

I know that person, she is from United Kingdom so that means I am gonna be

looking for someone who commented on my channel two days ago from United Kingdom

and I know which video it is about, okay so now let go to analytics

Now we are in analytics, we're gonna scroll down all the way down

look to the lower left corner, we're looking for likes and dislikes

Now I click on it, here are the videos that have people comment on them,

and I see the likes right here and here I have the dislike

okay there's one video I showed you before there's one person who commented

on it, it was from United Kingdom it was that video, There are two comments from

United States and one comment from United Kingdom I will click on United

Kingdom to see the date

Here you can see it been two days ago which is July 26 I got a like from

that person now let go back to see where my dislikes came from on that video

I have a like and a dislike can I click on it? okay the like came from Brazil so

someone from Brazil liked my video, and then the dislike is from United

States let's click on it, the dislike was on July 16

See that's the date right here July 16 it was like two weeks ago and it was from

United State. Right I will see who commented on my video that day and

if it been on July that was July 6 and that person comment on my video, it been

like two weeks ago so that's one right here and then there

and then there is one person who... when you see that minus sign front of the

numbers it means the person liked your video... okay let's say you liked a video

and a second after, you changed your mind. You don't dislike the video,

but you removed your like, so when you remove your like

this is exactly how it's gonna show in your analytics.

The dislikes will show in the dislikes column and the likes right here in the likes

and it was on the second video

this doesn't show me the exact date but

I know it was two weeks ago

Let see, that comment right here I've been two weeks ago, it's not 100% sure it was that

one, but this is a new channel I don't have that many comments, that means if

someone comment on it and I have like or alike, that will give me an idea

if I go to my analytics and then if I match the date, it will give me an idea

who likes or dislikes my video, and also it will show you who did not like your video

You just have to match the comment with the date, the video, and the location

that's just what you need to find out who likes or dislikes on your video

Week 2_ Evolution & Natural Selection Video - Duration: 4:21.

Hi everyone! Welcome to week two of the "Evolution and Biology of Sex". This week's

topic will be evolution and natural selection and in lab this week we'll be

looking at the experimental evolution of E coli. Escherichia coli is a bacteria

that is commonly found in the human gut. It is used in research and for medical

purposes, such as for producing insulin. However, wild strains can be pathogenic.

Triclosan is the antibacterial agent that we'll be working with this week in

lab. It is used to clean surfaces and it was recently banned from soaps because

of adverse health effects. Our question this week in lab is going to be "Can we

evolve ecoli in the lab to make it resistant to triclosan, the

antibacterial agent". I'm going to ask two questions that I want you to consider.

The first one is evolution. How the e coli population compared to the start

e coli population if evolution has happened. And the second question; if we

do get evolution of e coli what would be the most likely mechanism given our

experimental procedure? How do you know which mechanism is most likely? I'm going

to continue by going over the experimental procedure for this week in

lab. So, our first step is to take an un-inoculated plate. So, this plate will just

be filled with agar, which is a growth medium for the bacteria. Then you're

going to plate a lawn of e.coli. After this lawn has been plated you're going

to place a paper with triclosan in the center. Remember, triclosan is our anti

bacterial agent. Take a moment to think about the following questions. If

bacteria is not resistant triclosan, where will it grow where will it

not grow? It's important to note that the concentration of triclosan varies with

distance from the paper; meaning that the concentration of the

antibacterial agent is probably the most dense right on the paper or near the dot

and becomes less dense as we get farther outwards. Take a moment and consider that

these three brown boxes are different bacterial colonies. Which of these

colonies do you think are resistant and which are probably not resistant to the

antibacterial agent? Here you can see that the colony that is closest to the

dot is probably resistant to the antibacterial agent and those that are

farther away are probably not resistant. Following our procedure we initially

played it a lawn of E coli, thus inoculating the plate. A piece of

paper dipped in triclosan was placed in the center and then we waited 24 hours.

You can see that there should be a clearance zone where no E. coli is growing

and around this zone there will be E. coli growth surrounding the outsides of the

plate. After measuring this clearance zone where there's no growth we're going

to take some colonies from right around the edge of the no growth zone which are

most likely our most resistant colonies or bacterial cells. We're going to

scrape some of those up and put them in a liquid bacterial growth medium, so, this

un-inoculated liquid. Step five highlights this saying that we will be

re-innoculating cells from the periphery of the clearance zone. Finally,

we will be repeating this entire procedure four times in the hope of

evolving our E. coli species over these four generations. A final reminder

that it is important to label your plates and tubes to ensure that we're

keeping everything straight. Good luck and have fun in lab this week!
