We need to try and get as many people as we can signed up to our Flood Warning
Service. It's really easy to do; it's a free service. All you need to do is go on
to our website the Environment Agency website, and sign up. You put in your
postcode and if we issue a Flood Alert for your area you will get a text
message or an email, which will give you that early warning so that you have got
time to prepare and do anything that you might need to do to try and
reduce the impacts of flooding. And that's for businesses, households, anyone
who's in a flood risk area.
