we have decided to take you to the next step in our recruitment process

Before we start, do you have any personal belongings you want to leave in a locker?
Yes, please. That would be great.
Okay, just follow me through.
Welcome to the store, Sebastian. We're really excited to have you here.
You will notice at Skechers that we like our interviews to be quite interactive,
so we're going to be touring our store, going to be going through customer experience
and you will do a bit of visuals to get a real feel of the store environment
We're even going to try on some shoes later
It's gonna take about 20 minutes. Does that sound okay?
Sounds fine to me.
Let's go. Get going
So first let's take an outside tour of the store.
You can see here ladies window and men's window and kids shoes towards the front.
On the left hand, side ladies wall, right hand, side men's wall
and then down the middle we have what we call our floor bins
so at the back, we have our kids stock and at the front you have the seasonal and promotional products
such as the memory foam and sport at the moment
so what we are going to do is talk a little about this window over here, so just follow me over...
So, Sebastian how are you involved in the visual directives in your company at the moment?
In my company, at the moment, we get sent the directives from head office
so it's a case of putting what they want in the window into the window.
Ok, so what do you think are the wins for our window?
It shows a nice variety of the stock, it is not just trainer based, it's everything you sell and has nice graphics.
Is there anything you think we could differently?
I know Skechers are quite known to their light up shoes for kids
so maybe add a few of them and some bright colours especially in this weather

So what motivates and inspires you in your job?
What motivates me and inspires me is the fact that
everybody coming in leaves with a smile on their face... and a good purchase as well!
So what callouts do you see in the team at the moment?
I see that everybody works well as a team.
They're not all individual, they do work as a team and they're all smiley, happy, lovely people...
So if you were to join our team is there anything that you would do differently?
From what I can see, nothing I need to do differently and they'll see nice fun bubbly characters...
Okay, so with that being said, let's go and do a little store walk!
Ladies, girls, boys and the men's. Up the wall are the floor bins,
end caps, promotional product, accessories, that sort of things
and if we head over here to talk about customer service.
So Sebastian, what does great customer service look like at your company?
In my current company it looks like service with a smile and no job is too big or too small for them.
So how would you prioritize customer service when it was busy here?
By prioritizing customer service I would drop all tasks that I've got to do and focus solely on the customer.
Okay, lovely. So, we're going to head over to another part of the store now,
look at some more shoes.
So here we have our men's relaxed-fit division so this is right here back to the wall...
So is there anything in particular on this wall bay that you'd like to try on?
I like the look of these
okay, the first thing we are going to do is measuring your feet!
Okay. So you're measuring up as a US 10.5 in this,
but if you just pop that back for us, lovely, we can do the next one.
Should fit right backwards. Lovely. Okay, take the one up, so we're looking at USA 10.5
so we will ask Ryan to get that for you.

Ok, we've got great fit on those! Would you like to go for a walk in those?
Yeah, sure.
So like we said, this is the men's relaxed-fit division
so it's a more roomy comfortable fit.
You should be getting some of that instant comfort from that air-cool memory foam
Both feel nice and comfortable.
They're quite a nice shoe, they're quite trendy with that vintage washed canvas upper
Do you want to get more the feel of walking on these shoes?
What do you think of the shoes, Sebastian?
Very nice, very comfortable... I like the look of these a lot.
Will you be rocking those on a Saturday afternoon then?
Sure, they will be nice and comfortable!
So here at the store we have the opportunity to add on accessories to sales.
So here we have a water spray as a little example. How would you go about using that as a selling tool?
I would offer it to the customer at the till and if not I would approach them on the sales floor.
So, on a busy day, how would you handle multiple customers?
I would handle multiple customers by making sure that every person is being served quickly
and that feel that we are here to do what needs to be done for them

I found it good and I liked the interactive part of it.
