The cell is thriving!

The cell shapes up with the cell wall

It protects the cell as well

Prokaryotic cells have capsules too outside of their cell walls

For extra protection (and adhesion too)

Eukaryotic (cells have organelles)

Prokaryotic (don't have organelles)

Plasma membrane (acts as a barrier)

between the cell (between the cell) and the environment

Mitochondria have their own DNA

Cilia and flagella can move the cell

Smooth ER makes phospholipids, smooth ER detoxifies

Rough ER's covered in ribosomes

Modifies the proteins

They're packaged, packaged inside the golgi

Then they become lysosomes, break down material

And old cell parts in animal cells

And not in plants (and not in plants)

But plants have other (have other organelles)

Specific to them (like the chloroplast)

Contains green pigment (for photosynthesis)

And leukoplasts (storing the starch)

And chromoplasts (yellow and red)

In animal cells (only in animals)

There are centrioles (make microtubules)

But every cell has (cytoplasm, ribosomes)

DNA and plasma membrane no matter what (no matter what)

Both are in the form of chemical energy

For the cell to run smoothly

Organelles are membrane bound, cell structures are not

Prokaryotic cells have no organelles

The nucleus contains chromosomes, chromosomes have DNA

And inside of the nucleus is the nucleolus

Makes ribosomes, yes I'm sure deep down inside

Pores in the cell wall (used to communicate)

Are plasmodesmata (whew)

They're only in plants (not in animals)

Hooke discovered cells (looked in a microscope)

Schleiden and Schwann (compared plants and animals)

And Virchow proposed (the cell theory) Oo-oo-oo, all living things (all living things)

hey guys I spotted my dry fast journey on Monday

I'm over 72 hours down I'm on day four on my drive fast

yesterday I had weighed in at 178 um and I'm gonna get on the scale and I'm going

to see what I weigh today so yesterday's león was 178 and let's see what I wait

to get on this

okay I'm 176 let's do it again

so today I'm 176 pounds down so that means I lost two pounds in another

24-hour period that brings the total weight down in

less than a complete four days to 7 pounds loss in less than four days I'm

on day 4 but it won't be a full four days until 7:30 tomorrow morning so that

is an impressive to lose seven pounds in three and a half days
