2018.Gator Computing Program - Introduction Video - Duration: 2:37.

Welcome to the Gator Computing Program, students!

We are happy to have you here on campus.

Here's a brief introduction to the program before we start activities.

This room we're in now will serve as your "home base" during GCP.

You'll start each morning here.

That doesn't mean this is the only place you'll see.

You will also have your own computer space in a lab, and venture all over campus to see

exciting labs during your two weeks here.

First things first though.

You'll be getting to know your teaching assistants, or "TAs," very well during GCP.

If you have questions about your projects, the program, your schedule, or UF in general...ask

them!

TAs: Take a moment to introduce yourselves.

During the program you should also familiarize yourself with your peers.

Make sure you introduce yourselves and collaborate.

GCP students last year became good friends.

Now on to more details about the program.

Some days, lunch and snacks will be catered in this room, and some days you can eat at

places around campus.

Make sure to stick to the program schedule and stick together with the group when you're

eating near the Hub or at the Reitz Union.

You're going to hear some pretty cool talks from faculty while you are here.

Make sure you're being respectful, paying attention, and staying off your phone.

You are also going to see some cutting-edge research labs on campus where you will be

able to ask questions.

And you will get to load up in the vans and travel across town to see UF's supercomputer--HiPerGator.

You will get the full tour of UF's Data Center, HiPerGator, and you'll also get to experience

the boundary layer wind tunnel.

Experts will be there to teach you about how things work and to answer your questions.

Speaking of questions...

All of the programming lessons, tours, and lectures during your time here are to inspire

and prepare you for the projects you will work on during the second week; which you'll

present on the last day of the program.

And, you can invite your parents and friends to watch.

Later today, you will be given a list of project ideas.

Keep these in mind throughout the program so you can choose a topic you're interested

in.

You will have plenty of time to work on your project during the second week of the program

and you'll have access to the TAs and UFIT staff members for

any help you might need.

We know you are going to learn a lot and have fun during the Gator Computing Program.

Why Add a Video to an Email | Brighton West Video - Duration: 1:30.

If you want people to watch your YouTube video, add cats. But if you want them to

open your email, then add video. Hi I'm Brighton West. I help coaches authors and

speakers who want to use YouTube to reach a global audience, And today I'm

going to be talking about why you should be using video inside your emails. But

there's a conundrum. Video is great inside email, but most email programs

aren't very friendly to video so if you're using Gmail or or MailChimp or

Infusionsoft or ConvertKit all these are really good at letting you put in

hyperlinks, which is just the text which people aren't really all that excited to

click on them. They might scroll right by that. Or they allow you to put

in images, but people don't want to click on those either because it's just an image.

What we need is a big image with a play button in the middle that then links the

viewer and whisk them off to YouTube. So there's a second conundrum, and that is

if you go to YouTube to download the thumbnail or even just do a screenshot

of it, you don't get a play button. So here's the good news.

I had my developer put together a tool that I'm going to share with you. It's on

my website and what it does is it puts that play button onto images. You can

even just take a URL from YouTube and it'll pop a play button on it. Then you

download that image and put it into your email. So I just popped two things onto

the screen: the top one is a link directly to that tool if you're ready to

go and start using it you can click up here, and the bottom one is a link to a

video that shows you how to use the tool.

Awww! Blac Cyna just shared a new incredible clip of Baby Dream Kardashian happily rocking a big head of curls! Check it out right here!.

Okay, Dream Kardashian is growing up wayyyy too fast! Her mom Blac Chyna, 30, just shared a brand-new clip of the 1-year-old and we cannot handle how big she is now! In the video, Dream comes running around the corner (possibly saying, "Dada," but we can't be certain) when she's greeted by Chyna.

That's when viewers get to see her big mess of amazing curls! The baby girl is wearing a purple onesie while playing with a stuffed animal and we can't handle the cuteness!.

This precious moment arrives just days after it was reported that Chyna is continuing to take legal action against Dream's baby daddy Rob Kardashian and his family.

She's filed new documents alleging the Kardashian's personally saw to it that her show Rob & Chyna was cancelled even though it's ratings were supposedly better than KUWTK, according to TMZ.

Chyna also alleges Rob's family threatened to take their show from E! unless they killed Rob & Chyna. The docs seem to claim there's a paper trail that supports these allegations.

Meanwhile, the Kardashian clan is maintaining that none of this is the case. They argue that Rob & Chyna ended because ratings were sagging.

And Chyna filing a restraining order against Rob made producing the show legally impossible. This is merely the latest installment in Chyna's legal war with Rob's family.

She claims that isn't not just her career that the Kardashians have derailed but her personal life as well.

"She is finding it very hard to date and she wants to date much more but she is blaming her connection with the Kardashians and Rob as a reason that people don't want to date her," a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY earlier this year.

Let's hope Dream thrives despite all this family chaos!.
