Have you ever started something new? Or made a resolution? Or made a goal?
The first couple of days, everything's going well, right?
You go to the gym, you go three days in a row.
You're feeling really good, right?
You start making those phone calls everyday in your business.
You start the daily activities and the consistency and the focus that everybody's after.
And then do you notice, after a couple days, maybe after a week, nothing seems to be working.
Nothing's working. So what happens? You quit. You give up. You throw in the towel.
How many times, think back, how many times have you done this?
In your business. In your life. In any goal that you've set for yourself.
It's all fun and games, when the goal is top of mind and you just started. It's all fun and games.
Anybody can stay strong the first couple days, even the first couple weeks.
But what about when it starts getting hard?
What about when things don't come easy anymore?
Now we're really getting into the nitty-gritty, and now we're separating the amateurs from the professionals.
And here's the truth bomb that I want to lay on you today, my friend.
Any time that you work to make a change, whether it is quitting smoking,
whether it is dropping weight, whether it is leveling up in your business.
Hitting a dollar goal, profit goal, rank goal, whatever it is.
There will come a time in any goal you set forth, where it's gonna get hard and it's gonna suck.
The suck factor gets real high! And you start riding that struggle bus, right?
It's gonna happen every time. And I'm gonna tell you why.
When you put a goal out there, when you make it known that you want change,
That you want more...
That you want something bigger...
When you want impact...
The universe is going to ask you:
Girl, how bad do you want it?
And let me tell you right off the gates here, if "Universe" isn't your language...
If it's God, if it's universe, if it's energy, if it's spirituality, if it's something else...
I don't care, I can speak them all!
Whatever you want to call it, you call it your own, but I'm going to tell you...
Any time that you set a goal, and you want to achieve change,
greatness, level of impact,
you are going to be tested. Girl, how bad do you want it?
And will you do this? Will you stay consistent?
Even when you get no results. Even when it's hard.
Even when it seems like nothing's working.
This is the test that you must pass to go from amateur to professional.
This is it.
And you will get asked every single time! There is a reason it gets hard!
Because the universe wants to know: are you a fair-weather fan?
Or are you here to play for keeps?
My friend, you gotta play for keeps. That means you're going to be
going to the gym, long distance, and see no results.
You might even be seeing those pounds go up for a little bit.
Are you willing to keep doing the grind? Are you willing?
Will you keep doing it? Will you struggle?
Because you have to say yes and you have to prove it every single time.
Anybody who's ever had any level of success
will be able to understand, and tell you this is 100% true:
You start any goal, you start any change, it'll be easy for a couple days, it'll be fun even!
Because the universe is encouraging you! It wants you to keep going! And then... and
And then... BOOM!
Then comes the struggle. Then comes the obstacles.
Then comes the challenge.
Then comes the mind games that start to say: This isn't working! This isn't worth it!
This isn't what I signed up for! I don't think I can do this!
You've got to hold on anyway. Every single time.
You prove to the universe that you're here to play for keeps...
You prove that you're here for the long haul...
The long haulers are the ones rewarded with its success, the balance,
the fulfillment, the passion, the energy and life, my friend.
So ride that struggle bus. Ride it long and hard.
Prove that you will do it anyway. No matter what.
