Samsung Galaxy S8 & Note 8 gain new video lockscreen option from Galaxy S9 ● Tech News ● #TECH - Duration: 1:27.If you own a Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ or a Note 8, chances are that you've already received
a new update that installs the June security patch.
Although the changelog doesn't mention it, the update adds a new function that Samsung
exclusively included in the Galaxy S9/S9+.
This function allows users to set a video as the phone's lockscreen wallpaper, a feature
that some may find gimmicky since it will most likely drain your handset's battery faster.
In any case, if you recently received an update on your Galaxy S8/S8+ or Note 8, you can now
check for the new functionality by heading to Backgrounds tab of Samsung themes.
You can choose to set a predefined video as lockscreen wallpaper, or you can put your
own video on your screen if you have one in the Gallery app.
If you don't find the new feature yet, you'll probably have to wait until the June security
update arrives on your smartphone,
although some users report that they have received two separate updates just a few days
apart from each other.

AYG 2017-2018 Full Video - Duration: 3:16.(rhythmic tapping)
(students chattering)
- Achieve Your Greatness really makes me feel,
it makes me feel very, very happy
because you get to try out new things,
be a new person in the classroom,
like whatever's going on in your life,
you can always leave it at the door.
You can do fun stuff when you get inside.
- Don't hold back what you really like,
if you like music, express yourself when you listen to it
but don't just keep it back
'cause other people don't like it, do what you wanna do.
- I think the chance to work
with industry professionals is a brilliant opportunity.
Again some of them, they've never even seen a trumpet,
let alone seen someone play a trumpet
so I think that kind of access to experiences
that they never would have experienced before.
- 100% it outs creativity and also transferrable skills.
It gets the student thinking about how they can use
the skills that they have in music, in drama,
in dance, and putting them all together.
- The program is a very different kind of program
because it's not aimed at students
who have musical talent already
or are studying instruments.
It's aimed at students who need a different kind
of focus in their academic careers
and it's using music to find a way
to get them out of their shells
and get them collaborating
and thinking critically with their classmates
and having them work as a team.
- I think the one thing that I would like the young
to take away from working in AYG
is an improved sense of confidence,
an ability to share their ideas,
and it's so rare that you can really get an opportunity
to be judged and receive creative feedback
from your peers and I think AYG does a lot
to encourage young people.
- [Cassie] I think it's confidence-building.
I think it's safe space to just be yourself
and to learn more about yourself,
what you like, what you don't like.
- This makes me feel like how people 'cause like
is making me step out of my life, might be
because I used to be quite shy
and now I've stepped out and moved on.
- What I have enjoyed the most is able
to compete with people and able to play this.
- I think every young person needs a step in
and needs something, a bit of a push to help inspire them
to achieve their greatness and really important
for not only artistic development for young people
but also it gives them life skills as well.
- Achieve Your Greatness is a really good opportunity
for me to have to express my emotion
and to go up stage and not to be afraid of nothing.
- I'm just gonna say it was fun, it was amazing.
You get to learn new stuff.
(gentle music)
- Achieve Your Greatness!
