Do you really think just being a nice person will give you everything you want from life?
Like, "good things happen to good people."
Sure, if you're a good person, the odds of someone showing up to your house and shooting
you in the face are significantly lower.
But being nice doesn't mean you can eat pizza everyday and still lose weight.
Being nice doesn't mean if you blow your rent on clothes and shoes, somebody is just gonna
give you the difference.
Being a good person is an asset, not the skill.
Meaning if you're selling product and you're a nice relate-able person, you'll get customers.
But if your product is shit because you put no effort into perfecting it.
If you never worked on a sales plan, or researched your target demographic, nobody would touch
that sale with a ten foot pole just because you were nice.
Put the work in, do your research.
Learn about what it is you want to do before you do it.
There have been shitty people that have been successful, and there have been nice people
that have failed.
The difference is, one person worked harder than the other.
