K-12 Release Video 12.01 - Duration: 2:43.

Hi! My name is Liana and I'm part of the K12 User Education team at Blackbaud.

We have some exciting new features and enhancements for this release.

Core

When you use an Apple iPad to take a photo and upload the photo to your onMessage site or onCampus boards,

the photo's orientation is saved based on the tablet's orientation. Previously, an error incorrectly rotated some of these photos.

onBoard

In the previous release, we introduced the Contract List. Now, we've enhanced the list to include the

Hold type, Deposit received, and Status date filter options.

We've also expanded the text box character limit in onBoard Contracts from 20,000 to 50,000.

onRecord

Schools can now review student rankings and grade point averages from the Students List.

Integrations

The integration between onBoard Contracts and Smart Tuition merges the two enrollment processes into one streamlined workflow.

The integration automatically creates a corresponding family account in Smart Tuition

once families accept an onBoard enrollment or re-enrollment contract.

Families can then use a Single Sign on to easily log into Smart from their "ON" resource board.

Once implemented from Core, the integration becomes the master database for your Fees, Payment Plans and Payment Methods.

After you set up the Smart Tuition integration, it'll be active by default whenever you create a contract in onBoard.

If your school set up onBoard Contracts before the Smart Tuition integration, you'll need to convert them.

If a contract shouldn't be linked to Smart Tuition, you can deactivate the integration when you create that contract in onBoard.

Use the Responsible Signer flag to control which users related to the incoming or re-enrolling students can complete the contract.

Smart Tuition only supports two Responsible Signers, so any contracts with more than two won't be generated until this is updated.

Please note that Smart Tuition is installed by request only.

Schools interested in signing up should fill out the form found on the release letter.
