Best Dishonored 2 trailer,

with my own sound design and music,

made for a Sound Design & Music Composition course

at University of Tor Vergata, Rome (Italy).

The music and sfx was made with a couple of Kontakt libraries,

lots of foley recorded in my studio, some library samples layered and stretched,

Ableton instruments and iZotope fx.

The voices was grabbed from the original trailer

with iZotope Rx.

Mix and a little mastering/ leveling

was done in Ableton Live with UAD powered plugins

and iZotope Ozone 6 suite.

Quarterly Goals - DOELEN VOOR 2017 - Duration: 8:20.

First of all a happy new year to everyone, I root for you to reach all of your goals.

I'm actually diving deep into 2017 with 7 videos for january

this Christmas break is going to be a busy one

and now we're talking about goals: beside my monthly goals I'll also be doing quarterly goals

I love watching videos like these so I thought why not give this a try in 2017? Yeah, I've got my tea here.

I've got about 10 minutes to film this video because of bad planning and I also saw I hadn't done my make-up

and my sister has my eyeliner with her, so she can buy me a new one

In a quarterly goals video I'll be talking about my goals for the quarter and after 3 months I'll wrap them up!

So this year you can already expect four quarterly goals videos and wrap-ups

and maybe I'll be doing this next year as well.

I love myself some cranberry rooibos tea

I have all of my goals on my laptop, it's all in a blogpost that went up this morning I'll link it below

I thought, let's take it a little bit easy this first quarter so I don't have a lot of goals yet.

I'll just read them out loud.

LIFE: Invest even more in yourself in 2017, learn something new, apply/save for a new study & cross something off my bucketlist.

In 2016 I lived by the quote: invest more in yourself, and I plan to invest even more this year.

I'm ready to totally dedicate myself to this new year to make it as incredible as possible.

Learn something new, I bought a keyboard in November, so I was thinking about a new song or a language

I'm not really sure yet but I've got three months to figure that out.

And yes, a new study - oh, shit.

you saw that happening too...

I do have a new study that I want to do, a writing academy and this is possible in all of Holland

so that will also help my wanderlust so that's going to be fine!

Saving money for the study doesn't need an explanation and then, cross something off my bucketlist.

My bucketlist is one A4 long, I want to cross a lot of them off but also add more to the list!

For example, I want to get a tattoo, I'm not sure if I'm doing that this quarter but there's enough to do!

WRITING: finish current project (I procrastinate a lot), start a new project, read two Dutch books,

and start edits in the current, then previous, project,

In my phone I have a small list of edits I want to make, like a logbook for characters,

and I might need to cut a character whole but we'll see about that!

Start a new project, in the last months I got quite a few new ideas and I've been organising these ideas a lot!

It's so different in my head than I can get it on paper so that needs to be clean and well organised so I can make outlines for these projects.

but I think I know what I want to work on next...

of which I want to make a book writing series! This is totally Christine's idea, she rocks and hers are hilarious!

This will help me kick my butt and to get my butt in my desk chair to work and write & finish my current project

2017 is going to be a busy year, I've got final exams, and more exams, my internship is starting too

In February it's time for my internship, I applied by my second/last high school and I'm very curious

as to how it will go.

but that does mean that I have to work with some sort of writing schedule with x words a day/two days

I think I'm starting with 500 words in two days...

I think that is a safe way to deal with it beside my three day internship

and if I find a job, that'll mostlikely be on Saturday so it's going to be busy with homework, school and internship

In February I'm also visiting the Harry Potter expo that I'll be vlogging, I'm very excited to go with my cousin

other than that February is not busy, my sister's birthday is in March so family will be coming over I think

March also isn't very busy

I will be filming lots of videos for sure! I already have 7 videos planned for january with two extras

I'm really diving deep into the new year and that makes me very excited for this year

and if there's something that makes me happy, then that's the thumbnails I have planned for this month

For now these are my goals for the first quarter, you can find them on my blog!

And let me know what your goals are for this quarter, or this month or 2017 as a whole

Do I have overall goals for 2017? Not yet... I did do that in 2016, but if I'll brainstorm I'll come up with a few.

I just tweeted it, but my goal for 2017 is to never film with my 8gb card again... because it's not smart

so my goal: always film with my 16gb card instead

To get to know my overall goals , you'll have to follow me on Twitter or Instagram, I'll probably post them there

I don't have a specific goal just yet. Smile more, more fun, say yes more, work harder and invest more in myself

maybe another holiday to, let's say, Paris? A weekend off to a new city like Trapani last year?

Through the course of the growth of humanity, science has worked to debunk things once considered

factual.

Despite the evidence against, there are still dated and fantastical myths out there - believed

to be true allegedly based on science - that people refuse to let go of.

For various reasons, these top 10 myths are among the more unbelievable that people cling

to.

10.

Men Are Sex-Obsessed Despite popular belief, men don't actually

think about sex every 7 seconds.

In a study performed by the Kinsey Institute, only 54% of men in the study only thought

about sex several times a day.

Further supporting the debunking of this somewhat insulting myth is Terri Fisher and a team

of researchers at Ohio State University.

Providing 283 college students with clickers - 120 males and 163 females - the study had

students press each time they thought of sex, food, or sleep.

At the end of the study, it was found that the average male student thought of sex 19

times a day, while females about 10.

So, ladies, you're not as piggish as you may think!

The Coriolis Force and Drains As children, a fun little rumor circulated

that regions on the opposite end of the Earth's hemisphere experienced a reverse rotation

of water going down the drain.

It sounded plausible enough, especially when scientific terms like "Coriolis Effect"

started to get thrown around.

The more you dig into this harmless myth, however, the quicker you realize how the myth

was created.

The Coriolis Force, which is responsible for the deflection of objects to the right in

the northern hemisphere and to the left in the southern, has no bearing on what happens

to water as it drains in the sink of your bathtub.

The force is more responsible for altering the course of air masses while the design

of the toilet basin and force of the water determines the direction of drainage flow.

A Full Moon Affects Behavior Unless you're a werewolf or some other form

of shape-shifter, the likelihood that a full moon affects you on any physical or mental

level is incredibly low.

Since it is such a common belief that a lunar cycle can have a physiological effect on people,

researchers over time have employed the scientific method to debunk the fantastical claim.

In 1985, psychologists James Rotten and Ivan Kelly combed through 37 different studies

on the effects of lunar cycles and concluded that there is no correlation between a full

moon and an increase in murders, suicides, or other drastic behaviors.

Seven years later, an additional 20 studies were reviewed, this time focusing on suicide

contemplation.

Again, researchers found no link.

Antibiotics are Great for Viral Infections If your doctor is quick to toss an antibiotic

your way after claiming you're suffering a viral infection, it's time to switch doctors.

Why?

Because any medical professional should know that an antibiotic can only hinder recovery

of a viral infection.

Despite how whiny a patient gets for quick relief, treating a virus with an antibiotic

is not going to provide any medical benefits.

In fact, taking an antibiotic with no bacterial infection present can increase the chances

of developing an infection that resists antibiotics.

So, the next time you're feeling a bit under the weather, don't start demanding antibiotics.

They're not the cure-all that many people think.

Water is a Natural Conductor Watch enough movies and you may start to believe

that water is the perfect conductor of electricity, but scientifically speaking that's not really

accurate.

In fact, pure water is a much better insulator than conductor.

So, is Hollywood lying to us?

Kind of, but not intentionally.

You see, it's not the water itself that conducts electricity so easily but the minerals

and particles found in water that hasn't been purified.

Since it's unlikely that you'll find puddles of completely pure water, that is, water completely

free of charged ions, it's just much safer to assume that any body of water you encounter

would be a fantastic conductor.

Lightning Never Strikes the Same Place Twice It most certainly does.

In fact, if you keep a close watch on cloud-to-ground lightning in your area over a long period

of time, chances are you'll find that lightning doesn't go out of its way to avoid somewhere

it already struck.

After the initial strike, no change is made to the storm or the area hit that would make

a follow-up strike impossible.

There have been spots hit as many as 50 times, such as the WVAH TV tower in West Virginia,

or 10 times in one night, such as at the Sears Tower in Chicago.

Blood Without Oxygen is Blue If at any point you ever find out that your

blood is blue-ish in color, it may be time to start tracing the lineage of your family.

Truth of the matter is, regardless of what myths you may have heard about the color of

your blood, it is always red.

Even when it's not heavily oxygenated, it's still a deep shade of red.

What trips up people that believe their blood is blue is the color of their veins, which

actually has to do with the penetration of blue and red light wavelengths.

Though the blood that flows through your veins is red, the blue light travels quicker, giving

the appearance of blue veins and blue blood.

A Dark Side of the Moon Since we only see one side of the moon here

on Earth, it became a pretty popular notion that the side we don't see is engulfed in

darkness year round.

Science and reality disagree with this notion, however, and show that there isn't a constantly

dark side of the moon.

That side we don't see from Earth is commonly referred to as the "far side" and is actually

sunlit for a portion of the month.

Since the moon orbits Earth and Earth orbits the sun, different parts of the moon are engulfed

in darkness at different parts of the month.

The mystery behind the "Dark Side of the Moon" was revealed in 1959 with the USSR

Luna 3 mission.

We Only Use 10% of Our Brain Seeing as how the brain is the most complex

organ in the human body, it's strange to think that people still believe we only use

10% of it.

In reality, we make use of virtually every part of the brain, which, at any given time,

always shows some form of activity.

From higher cognitive functions to the more basic routines our bodies go through, the

brain uses up approximately 20% of our body's energy.

To show just how active the brain is, neurologists like John Henley at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester,

Minnesota used imaging technology to record brain activity over 24-hour periods.

Findings pointed to the fact that, over the course of a day, 100% of the brain winds up

being utilized.

The Earth is Flat For years, it was believed that when Columbus

sailed across the Atlantic from Spain, the people of that time thought the Earth was

flat.

Long before the Italian explorer sailed, however, writers like the Greco-Egyptian scribe Claudius

Ptolemy, wrote about a rounded planet.

Columbus even owned a copy of Ptolemy's "Geography," which stated as fact that

the Earth was round.

Considering it was known as early as the 6th century, it may come as a shock that people

today still believe the Earth is flat.

Among several arguments for Flat Earth, there's the belief that satellite imagery of a rounded

Earth is fake, the concept of an ice wall keeping the oceans from spilling over the

"sides" of Earth, and a rather skewed theory that states the sun and moon are spherical

objects moving in circles above the Earth's flattened plane.

Throwing out decades of research and millennium of knowledge, flat Earthers hold true to the

ultimate myth.

How to Add Photorealistic Puddles in Photoshop - Duration: 6:22.

Hello and welcome to this episode of

Denny's tip. In this video you'll know how

to make your photos look more dramatic

by adding puddles in Photoshop. You'll

start off by cutting and pasting parts

of your photo to create fake reflection

and you'll paint in the puddle with a layer

mask and tweak the settings to make it

look a bit more realistic.

Finally, you'll finish it by adding a

subtle ripple effect in the puddles and

you're going to all of this using

non-destructive editing techniques and

with very minimal set of layers so if

you're interested

keep watching and you'll learn how to

add your own realistic cuddles in

Photoshop

before you begin you'll need to choose

the right photo a photo on a cloudy day

or after rainfall will work the best for

Sonny photos

it's a lot harder to make the puddles

look believable and sometimes it just

won't work so if this is the first of

all in this tutorial start off with a

cloudy photo like the one that we are

using and by the way we're using a stock

photo so if you want to follow along

with the exact same photo you can check

the video description below to find out

where you can buy this photo or you can

just use your own the first step is to

create a fake reflection by cutting

pasting and flipping different areas in

the photo

let's start with the store here we can

make a selection of it with the

Palatinate lasso tool here and simply

draw a selection around the door like

this by the way we only need the bottom

half of the door and it's election

doesn't need to be overly precise

duplicate the layer by pressing ctrl or

command J before we transform this layer

right click on the layer and then choose

convert to smart object this will let us

state transformation non-destructively

next press ctrl or command t40 transform

tool then right-click inside of the box

and select flip vertical don't press

ENTER yet position layer so it's on the

bottom of the door

it's not gonna match so we need to skip

the transformation by right clicking

inside the box and choosing sku now we

can track the slide vertically to make a

line with the door like this i'm going

to repeat this for the other door and

since it's essentially the same step

we're going fast forward this video to

save you some time

the last object to create a mirror is

the bride and groom in the middle

this one's a little different because

the more complex shape the easiest way

to create a selection for this is to use

the quick selection tool with this tool

you can simply brush over the areas that

you want to select like this and if you

want to remove the area from the

selection you can do so by holding alt

or option key and painting over the

areas that you want to remove once we

have to selection select back the

background layer and press ctrl or

command J to duplicate it right click on

the layer and then choose convert to

smart object now press ctrl or command T

flip it vertically and position it below

the bride to transform this into a curve

you can right-click and changing

transfer mode to warp now you can simply

drag downwards like this to make a

contour properly

finally I'll repeat this for the group

now we have a reflection and it looks

pretty good now that we're done creating

the reflection we can form the puddles

before we begin merge the layers by

selecting all of the reflection layers

and then right-click and choose convert

to smart object this is just a

non-destructive way to merge layers now

we can add an inverted layer mask by

holding alt or option and click on this

button here in the layers panel select

the brush tool and then use a large soft

brush like this setting brush opacity to

around fifty percent and then paint over

the areas that you want to pose to

appear it right now departed look at

mirror reflection to make it look more

realistic we need to do two things

number one

reduce the opacity and number to darken

a bit first let's start it by going to

the adjustments panel and adding the

levels adjustment layer here you can

move the middle impressed slider to

talking the image like this to make it

only effective reflection layer below

click on this button here next

reduce the opacity to around fifty

percent before we finish here's a tip if

you want a blur layer mask instead of

using the Gaussian blur filter you can

select the layer mask and then go into

properties panel here you can adjust the

feather setting which will blur layer

math it's the same thing as a blur

filter but it's better because you can

undo or change the settings at any time

the last thing to do is to add a slight

relief act select a reflection layer

then go to filter distort wave play

around with the settings to get a set of

ripple effect that Majesty roughness of

the floor

I like to start off by Sandy scale to

around twenty five percent the preview

image in this too is way too small so

what I like to do instead is just click

OK to preview it and then if it doesn't

look at double-click on the smart photo

a new layers panel and you can edit the

settings again

we're done here is how the image looks

like before and after

happened is a group of people got

together and they are essentially

selling weed but not really selling need

also you like a soda or something like

that like thirty dollars and with that

you get a free eighth of marijuana

I'll have to show you case the card like

what it says twenty-dollar eight and ten

dollar brands so basically what it looks

like is that there are different like

shelves are like levels of marijuana

that they have yeah yeah so that's

happening i went on their facebook page

just like kind of like see what it's

about

maybe see if they wanted to like video

or something like that with the pages

like taking down and it was gone so I

know what happened

maybe he's got them maybe they're cops I

don't know
