Waching daily Jan 17 2017

Hello my friends and welcome to another Tuesday of tutorial!

I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today we will draw a wolf.

We begin by doing the main masses.

This is going to be the frontal part of the body

then a circle for the head…

…I want to do it the simplest for you.

Then an arch for the front legs.

We mark the hind legs

and the hips.

Very good, very simple!

Now the neck and the ears.

With just a curve.

Then a line were the eyes will go

and a middle line for the head.

That´s very important!

With that, we have the basic structure.

Now we just need to give it shape [laughter].

We begin doing the thickness of the legs

… a circle for the nose,

and then we mark the mouth.

Which is almost like a bird flying.

We draw the lines on the line we made, originally.

That was, in the center of the circle.

The ears of the wolves are pretty wide if you look at them from the front.

The neck also with all of the long fur, looks, very very wide.

We give some shape and thickness to the legs.

These wolves that are on the snow and stuff like that, can have very long hair

on the side of the face.

As you see I´m making the ears, even wider.

And they are pretty round, looking at them from the front.

Very good!

Long fur over here, as well.

On the sides of the neck.

My wolf looks like he is smiling [laughter].

But I think is a bit of a crooked smile so let´s erase it to fix that

and make it more straight.

Also we can erase all the lines that we don´t need anymore.

The sketch lines.

By the way I will upload a long version of this tutorial

to my Patreon account.

So if you are interested, subscribe!

Around the eyes, he has a like a black line of the skin,

that is on the edge of the eye.

This eye, looks just a little lower ...I will handle that.

And let´s draw the snout better.

Not crocked.

I think that looks better.

Usually the iris of the eye is light and of course the pupil

is dark, black.

And we render the fur with very short lines, short strokes.

Wolves have stripes or change of tones of the fur, like very dark

in the middle of the head and on the side of the eyes, etcetera.

And we continue shading... building the form and shape,

with these little strokes… little lines.

Which you can see better in this close-up.

Also the fur is not all even

it may have sort of layers.

And you can draw a shadow on the bottom of a layer

just underneath to show that it is sticking out.

And with the eraser we can pull some lights.

The fur usually comes together in little lumps, which is what we draw and

not so much hair by hair.

Very good!

I love drawing animals [laughter].

We do the last details and it´s ready!

If you enjoyed it please give it a LIKE! share it to your friends

and subscribe to Fine Art-Tips and to Patreon!

And I will see you on Tuesday :)

AMAZON FAVORITES | PERFUME HAUL+ MORE | INSPIRED BY LUSTRELUX - Duration: 8:57.

[amazon favorites lustrelux ] the case that i was using was I hated

when are you freaking joking right now

to the case that i was using New York

City see struggle struggle of living in

New York

different here welcome back to my

Channel today I wanted to talk about my

amazon favorites perfume haul

yeah so lusterlux one of my

favorite youtubers the beauty content

she put out an Amazon favorites video

and I just wanted to try men and share

my amazon favorites with you guys so

let's get in to this video so first I'm

going to share with you my perfumes that

i bought off amazon and your kind of

laugh you're going to laugh but i'm

going to share it with you anyway so the

first fragrance that i bought was this

gem who water by that off

it's funny because i was watching our

Channel and he was talking about

throwback fragrances that smell amazing

i was thinking like I love cool water

back in the day love love loved it and

why don't have it anymore so anyway I

bought it off of amazon and I've just

been i've been enjoying it like crazy

supertrash aquatic I think there's peach

in the top notes or middle notes this

anyway i love it and it's one of my

amazon gamers next perfume that I ended

up purchasing off the Amazon short story

i went to a UFC match with one of my

friends and she was wearing this perfume

and all night I'm trying to figure out

like that me smelling good or is that

her it was her

so the fragrance is kai perfume this is

the box that it came in and it says on

the side breathe life and slow

words to live by so I like this one a

lot

it's gardenia and white floral and this

is super pretty

like I could see this being somebody's

wedding day set but i don't know i just

really

this on her and I actually love it all

myself as well it's something that I

would wear on evenings out or even

during the daytime should do something

really elegant about wore white florals

to me i just i love it but on amazon

also to what I love about amazon and

this is not a sponsored video or

collaboration or anything like that

I love that if your Prime member you get

your stuff in two days and it's like yes

that'll have to wait

I don't have to travel it's delivered

right to my doorstep so in love and

speaking of being in love with the next

said that i bought off amazon prime is

so so good

here's the Box attic a moment and then

make a bunch annoy the steno and the

fragrance is called i love love I saw a

video where he was talking about this

that comparing it to PNG's light blue

citrusy little bit of florals and there

something that i would consider like in

out of the shower that super fresh super

likable gotten compliments on this one

already and i love love I do so the next

item that I want to share with you is ok

so it's my mic stand

so kind of talk lately

can CEO here it is and if you can catch

that that as on-base it this is it

Oh calm down like if you're someone who

produces videos on youtube it is

incredibly difficult to work on the

production side of things like just

making sure that everything is just

right so originally I had my mic hooked

up to my DSLR

and I was getting so much ambient noise

in the background like so much ambient

noise so i ended up going to be an age

and B&H that listen you have a beautiful

my fan hide and mike spent like three

hundred bucks on this mike but you

should have it mounted as close as

possible to you when you're recording so

that it will pick up less ambient sound

in the background so long story short i

bought this mic stand on amazon and I

feel like it's dramatically improve the

quality of the sound that I'm getting in

my videos so let me know what you think

about that i think i spent money let me

just fix this in the place i spent

twenty bucks on it and i think it was

worth every penny especially since it

you know makes me sound quality better

to have two more products that i want to

share with you one of them is my

remington here's the box to Remington

tells the coming 10 so red pearl ceramic

wand

that's what the hell it is i've

purchased ones in the past and i must

say that this one is brilliant because

it has a stand right so it just stands

and it doesn't like sheet up anything

underneath it so you don't burn yourself

which is great i believe this goes to

410 degrees so it gets really really hot

and it also comes with a glove the glove

situation so that if you're curling your

hair you can kind of hold on to the wand

without getting burned

anyway this is really beautiful curls

like the waves tight curls which

everyone is kind of going for currently

now trending one of the products that i

ordered off of amazon and have

absolutely been loving is my phone case

so let's show this to you because it's

super teeny-tiny are you joking

look how teeny tiny that is and i have a

iphone pic i haven't upgraded because I

just love my phone you know when you

love something you just you don't want

to separate with it just yet

like I see no reason upgrade right now

so I've been too kind of holding onto it

to the case that i was using was this it

is moving on the Real saying it has like

a lot of sticky porous sea surface that

adheres to the phone you can put your

credit card here it has a little slot

where you can put money

yada yada love this case but when I

sound like when I was going to gym like

it just seems so pretentious to be like

oh I'm in the gym with my headset and my

pretensions will be the time case and

I'm working out and is I just felt like

i was doing too much

so when I go to gym I just you know let

me get like a little case so that my

phone is protected and i like that it

then and it just has been cause me any

problems love this one

love love love to thanks for watching my

amazon favorite and also think you've

lost your love for creating this video

but not everyone shops on amazon if

you're you're not shopping on Amazon

you're like living under a rock

let me know what your favorite items to

purchase of the Amazon or if you have

amazon prime and thanks for watching and

i'll catch you next video

panel and i'm dropping stuff over there

love jumping shit [ amazon favorites lustrelux ]

Herpes (oral & genital) - causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, pathology - Duration: 10:00.

Most of the time, when herpes simplex virus or HSV infects a person, there are no symptoms.

In fact, it also usually moves from one person to another in the absence of symptoms, so

it can therefore it can move through a population silently. Once in a while, though, it can

cause symptoms, and typically those are in the form of skin and mucous membrane lesions

which can be divided into infections "above the waist"—mostly involving the mouth

and tongue, and those "below the waist"—involving the genitals. There are two types of herpes

simplex viruses—HSV1 and HSV2—both of which are part of a larger family of enveloped

double-stranded DNA viruses: the herpesviridae family. Generally speaking, HSV1 tends to

cause infections above the waist and HSV2 tends to cause infections below the waist,

but there's a lot of crossover because both viruses can cause both types of infections.

Although herpes is most contagious when there are virus-filled lesions present, it can also

spread by asymptomatic shedding which means that herpes viruses can be in saliva or genital

secretions even when there are no signs of a cold sore or genital lesion. Typically,

when herpes virus lands on a new host, in other words a person that's never had herpes

before, it dives into small cracks in the skin or mucosa and binds to epithelial cell

receptors, which triggers those cells to internalize the virus.

Once inside, the virus starts up the lytic cycle, which is where its DNA gets transcribed

and translated by cellular enzymes which help to form viral proteins which are packaged

into new herpes viruses which can leave to go off and infect neighbouring epithelial

cells.

HSV1 and HSV2 also infect nearby sensory neurons, and travel up their axon to the neuron's

cell body to start up the latent cycle. The sensory neurons of the face have their cell

bodies in the trigeminal nuclei and those around the genitalia are located in the sacral

nuclei.

So that's ultimately where the herpes virus settles in—for life! You see, the sensory

neurons aren't destroyed, instead, they become a permanent home for the herpes virus,

and from time to time, the herpes virus makes a few viral copies of itself and sends those

virus particles back down the axon so they can get released and infect epithelial cells.

Since the trigeminal and sacral nuclei serve just one side of the face or body, herpes

vesicles and ulcers develop on the ipsilateral or same side as the affected nuclei.

This can happen over and over again throughout a person's lifetime, with classic triggers

being things like stress, skin damage, and viral illnesses. Recurrent episodes are usually

less severe than the primary infection, and sometimes there are no symptoms at all. When

there are symptoms, there might be a characteristic tingling or burning sensation, called a prodrome,

one or two days before the blisters appear.

In oral and genital herpes, the primary infection is most often asymptomatic. Having said that,

in oral herpes when it does cause symptoms it usually affects children and it causes

lesions on the palate, gums, tongue, lip, and facial area, as well as a fever and enlarged

lymph nodes. The lesions themselves are typically clusters of small, painful, fluid-filled blisters,

that ooze and ulcerate, and then eventually heal after a few weeks. In older children

and adults, a common symptom is pharyngitis. Most of the time, like primary infection,

reactivation doesn't cause any symptoms, but when it does, the most common pattern

is having a handful of blisters at the vermillion border—the border of the lip—on one side

of the face. These blisters are typically smaller and heal over a week.

With genital herpes, primary infection can cause symptoms like ulcers and pustules which

form on the labia majora, labia minora, mons pubis, vaginal mucosa, and cervix in women

and on the shaft of the penis in men. Like oral herpes, most of the time reactivation

doesn't cause any symptoms, but when it does, the most common pattern is to have a

few blisters that resolve rapidly in about a week.

In addition to oral and genital infections, HSV can also affect other areas. When it affects

the fingertip or nail bed, it's called herpetic whitlow, and this might happen if the finger

rubs up against an active lesion around the mouth or genital area. Once it affects the

fingertip, it's also easy for it to get carried over to other areas on the body to

spread the infection—a process called autoinoculation.

HSV can sometimes involve the trunk, extremities, or head—a pattern that's common among

wrestlers because they have a lot of skin-to-skin contact; and is therefore called herpes gladiatorum.

Finally, individuals with burn injuries or with atopic dermatitis can have really serious

herpes infections in those areas, the latter even has a specific name—eczema herpeticum.

HSV can also affect the eye causing keratoconjunctivitis, which is inflammation of both the cornea and

conjunctiva. In addition to symptoms of conjunctivitis which are pain, redness, tearing, and sensitivity

to light, there can some classic signs of corneal involvement like blurry vision and

a branching dendritic lesion which looks a bit like the tree-like dendrites of a neuron,

which happens on the cornea itself, and this pattern is classic for herpes infection.

In rare cases, herpes viruses can spread to the central nervous system and cause meningitis

or encephalitis, typically affecting the temporal lobe, in individuals of all ages. These can

happen from a primary infection, but more commonly happen during reactivation when some

of the virus can escape into the bloodstream and reach the brain. When there is brain involvement,

a lumbar puncture often has specific findings like an increase in red blood cells, increase

in white blood cells, and elevated protein levels. There are also some CT, MRI, and EEG

changes that can help to make the diagnosis.

HSV can also pass from a mother to a baby. Rather than causing a congenital infection

while the fetus is in the uterus, most of the transmission happens at birth when the

baby passes through infected maternal vaginal secretions during delivery. Neonatal HSV causes

three different patterns of illness each occurring about ⅓ of the time. The first is skin,

eye, or mucous membrane infection, where lesions pop up 1-2 weeks after delivery typically

at sites of damaged skin like the site where fetal scalp electrodes may have been attached.

The second is central nervous system infection which typically causes lethargy, irritability,

and even seizures 2-3 weeks after delivery and can cause some of the same lumbar puncture,

CT, MRI, and EEG findings as that in older children and adults with HSV encephalitis.

If not treated, both the first and second type can transition into the third type which

is disseminated infection, where herpes virus causes sepsis and failure of various organs

including the heart and brain.

HSV can cause unique symptoms in immunocompromised individuals who tend to have more frequent

reactivation, more severe symptoms, and a wider range of symptoms, like lesions in the

esophagus or lungs.

Herpes can usually be diagnosed based on how the skin or mucous membrane lesions look,

and can be confirmed with tests looking for viral DNA, like polymerase chain reaction,

an antibody response to the virus, or by growing the virus with a viral culture. Although infections

typically resolve without treatment within a couple of weeks, there are antiviral drugs

like acyclovir, famciclovir, and valacyclovir that can be used topically or systemically

to reduce pain and speed up healing. For recurring episodes, these treatments usually work best

if taken when the prodrome starts; in other words, before the blisters develop, and high-dose

intravenous antivirals may be given in more severe, or life threatening situations.

Alright, as a quick recap, most of the time, herpes simplex virus 1 and 2 cause asymptomatic

latent infections that set up in the trigeminal and sacral nuclei for life, but sometimes

they can cause symptoms like recurrent oral and genital lesions. They can also cause more

severe infections like HSV keratoconjunctivitis, meningitis, and encephalitis, as well as neonatal

infections which usually get transmitted when a baby passes through infected vaginal secretions.

Expecting a Baby Like Me - Duration: 4:10.

Hello Rightfooted family! Welcome back.

Last year my family welcomed my newborn

niece, the most perfect little bundle of

joy. As I was celebrating becoming an

aunt, an OBGYN reached out to me about

one of her patients. In her email, she

told me about a woman who was six months

pregnant with her first child, a girl.

Only the baby would arrive in the world

just like me, without arms. After

receiving the news about her baby's arms

not developing in utero, her patient Andrea

needed advice, only the doctor wasn't sure

what advice to give. So she went online

and came across my story on Upworthy. She

immediately connected me to Andrea.

Andrea and I spoke for a while over the

phone and while she told me she was glad

to meet me, I could sense her anxiety.

Then she asked me a question I had never

been asked before,

"How do I share the news with my family

and friends?" She worried about her family

not accepting her child with a

disability. She wondered how her daughter

would go through life without arms. She

had a million thoughts racing through

her mind. My parents do not have any

forewarning that I was going to be born

without arms. I asked her if she thought

it was somehow easier receiving the news

beforehand. She said that finding out

early on in her pregnancy gave her and

her fiance time to process the news, go

through denial, morning, and finally

acceptance. Parents of special needs

children have to grapple with the

challenging reality of raising a child

with a disability, a baby that does not

have the 10 fingers 10 toes perfection

they envisioned. And for some, the grief

and disbelief can completely overshadow

the joy of having a new baby. I know from

my own mother, the news that her baby

girl was different was devastating. When

I was born, she isolated herself and asked

God what she could have done that caused

my condition. My dad, on the other hand,

never once shed a tear for my being

different.

After some thought, I told Andrea that

she should deliver the news in a

matter-of-fact way and share the same

joy whether her daughter was born with

or without arms. I told her that I hoped

her family could see past the baby's

condition and embrace the miracle of a

new life being born into the world. I

even offered to help share the news with

her family.

Instead of a gender-reveal it would be

more like a disability-reveal. Her family

could meet me and rest assured that

their granddaughter, nice, cousin, and so

on would some day be a beautiful

independent woman. Not to mention the

fact that we may possibly share the same

birthday, as she's expected to arrive the

first week of February. Andrea's daughter

might just surprise her.

Just wait and see. I'm sure her daughter

will shock her and her fiance by doing

things that two-handed people cannot do.

I could tell Andrea was now smiling when

she recalled a sonogram showing her baby

with her feet up to her face, similar to

how other babies have their hands close

to their face. In utero, her daughter

already knows how to self-soot! She's

demonstrating her ability to adapt even

while still in the womb. There will be

plenty of challenges for Andrea and her

baby girl but it will get easier with

time. By simply reaching out to me,

Andrea is already making huge strides

for her daughter, a very fortunate little

girl. I'm thankful that I met Andrea and

hope that aside from stories like mine,

more support will be made available to

parents like her. I praise all parents

who are fighting the battle everyday

proudly watching their children conquer

the challenges of disability and rejoice

simply in the pleasure of parenthood.

Just as I know that wherever she is, my

own mom continues to be my biggest

cheerleader.

Thank you mom, this one's for you. I have

another challenge for you.

I take my feet for granted just like you

take your hands for granted. So this week,

I'd like to see you put on a pair of

socks without using your hands. Post

some proof down the comments and I'll share
