LOONA Returns With New Single "Butterfly" and Powerful New Music Video | Billboard News - Duration: 1:20.
K-pop lovers have a whole new reason to Stan LOONA.
On Tuesday, the K-pop girl group dropped their new single "Butterfly" accompanied
by a powerful music video. The lead single on their second album, '[X X],' shuffles
between the diverse vocals of the dozen women of LOONA, who sing about flying
like butterflies and letting dreams take flight.
And as if it couldn't get any more inspiring, the visuals for "Butterfly" were shot in
France, Hong Kong, China, the U.S., Iceland and Korea and combine dance sequences
with empowering moments featuring diverse women of a variety of races and religions
across the globe. According to the description of the song's music video, the title is
a nod to the butterfly effect, a theory in which the smallest elements affect
the whole of existence. It reads,
