Waching daily Feb 19 2019

The preliminary hearing in the murder trial of killer fiance Patrick Frazee revealed a number of new details about the case on Tuesday

Frazee was also hit with three additional charges for the alleged murder of Kelsey Berreth - one for tampering with evidence and two for a crime of violence - bringing his total count now to eight

The most damning piece of evidence in the case however may be the video that was shown of Frazee leaving Berreth's house at 1:30pm with their daughter and then returning alone at 3:30pm on the day she went missing

He would later tell authorities he and Berreth had split up, claiming she texted him on November 25 and said: 'Do you even love me?' Scroll down for video  The head of the Woodland Park Police testified on Tuesday that when Frazee called Berreth's phone the day after she went missing, both cells pinged at the same exact spot

That continued until November 25, at which point the cell began to move westward towards Idaho, at the same time that Krystal Lee Kenney is believed to have taken the cell to dispose of the evidence

The day kicked off with prosecutors calling Frazee's mother Sheila to the stand as a surprise witness

Lawyer Dan May said that Sheila knew where Kaylee was at the time of her mother's murder and had information about someone arriving at the house on Thanksgiving since she lives with her son

Sheila plead the Fifth however, and after doing so the judge sided with hr attorney and said she did not have to testify, excusing her from the court proceedings

It was also revealed later in the day that Frazee is estranged from his older brother

Share this article Share A close friend of Krystal's said last week that she only disposed of Berreth's cell phone because she feared for her life

'She had very, very good reasoning for whatever it is she may or may not have done,' said a very emotional Michelle Stein on CBS This Morning

When pressed for further detail she added: 'I can't really comment completely, but fear

And legitimate fear.'Stein was then asked if Krystal feared that Frazee might murder her next, to which she replied: 'Yes, that's what I believe, yes

'She also noted that Krystal had once said 'that she's never seen that kind of evil in anybody' when speaking about Frazee

One topic Stein would not address is whether or not Krystal and Frazee had been having an affair at the time of Berreth's death

She did say that the two previously had a relationship after they met 15 years ago, while also suggesting that Krystal might not have even been aware that she was having an affair if the two had recently been together

That is because Kelsey was unaware that Frazee was engaged or had a child, according to Stein

Stein also explained why Krystal would have helped Frazee if this was the case, saying that he was a 'dangerous person

'When asked if Krystal had ever stated that she was fearful of Frazee, Stein replied: 'She did tell me that she's never seen that kind of evil in anybody

'That is why she agreed to not only dispose of Berreth's phone, but also make texts to her employer and Frazee from the cell

'I will just tell you Krystal was very, very scared,' said Stein. 'Krystal is a level headed, kind, fun-loving, happy-go-lucky person

She's a tough cowgirl. She was absolutely scared and extremely upset.'At this point in the interview Stein begn to cry a bit while thinking about her friend

'She had very, very good reasoning for whatever it is she may or may not have done,' said Stein

One thing she did not do however was participate in the actual murder. 'I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever,' said Stein on that subject

Stein was not asked and did not address, however, when Krystal learned about the planned murder, with court documents suggesting it may have been as early as September

Krystal broke down in tears as she confessed to destroying Berreth's cell phone after learning that the young mother, 29, had been murdered by her fiance

While agreeing to testify against Frazee at his murder trial, the former nurse, 32, told the judge that she learned about the homicide of November 22

She will be sentenced after Frazee's trial for her own involvement after pleading guilty to one felony count of tampering with evidence

Krystal did not provide any additional information as to how she destroyed the cell phone while in court

'I learned that Patrick Frazee has committed a homicide on approximately Nov. 22, 2018 in Teller County

I knew that law enforcement would be investigating that crime,' said Krystal on Friday, reading from a prepared statement

'I moved the victim's cell phone with the intent to impair the phone's availability in the investigation

I had no right or authority to move the victim's cell phone. That occurred between Nov

24 and Nov. 25, 2018. In Teller County.'  Berreth's body has still not been found

Two individuals who worked with Krystal said that she and Frazee had been in a romantic relationship for months

DailyMail.com spoke with two people who know the nurse professionally, and they both said that they had been told that Frazee was having an affair with Krystal

Krystal divorced her husband a few years back and has two children.Neither of those individuals knew exactly when the relationship started, but they believed it could have been as early as 2016 - prior to the birth of Frazee's daughter with Berreth

That would have been the second time the pair dated after an earlier romance as teens

One of the the people DailyMail.com spoke with also said that Krystal was in Colorado around Thanksgiving

That would explain how Frazee was able to get the cell phone to Idaho while never leaving the state

It was reported back in December that police in Idaho had discovered information pertaining to the missing mom's cell phone

The Twin Falls Police Department revealed that officers from the force played a role in the investigation by obtaining search warrants and examining evidence in the case

Berreth's cell phone pinged off a tower in Gooding, Idaho, on November 25, three days after she went missing and around the same time her employer received a text stating that she would not be in for work that week

The location it pinged is about 800 miles from where Berreth was last seen. The complaint that was filed in the case states that Frazee plotted the murder of Berreth with at least one other individual in the three months before she went missing

2 Tips to Get started with Video with Shane Ryan with BombBomb - Duration: 7:46.

Hey,

welcome back to the think big or real estate shell.

I'm actually very excited to need to talk about something that I'm obviously

passionate about cause you hear from me a lot when it comes to video.

And uh,

my personal belief is that your clients,

how to be hearing from you a lot to be a video.

Um,

I know for a lot of people that's very daunting and a you get stuck in,

I don't like how I look.

I like how I sound.

I don't know what I'm gonna say.

Um,

the reality is those really shouldn't be issues at all.

And I'm here to help you with that.

And uh,

I've got with me,

Shane Ryan,

she ends with BombBomb,

which many of you who know BombBomb know that it's a big time solution for real

estate agents and helping them really take their video game to the next level.

So thanks for being on the show,

man.

They ain't no problem.

Yeah,

glad to be here.

Um,

so Shane has a couple of tips that are going to help you get started to not

overthink it,

but just very simple things to get you in action.

So,

all right,

so I mean the first thing is you can't change the way you look or your sound.

So the fact that you guys may be scared to be on video should,

should not be the thing like what we're saying here.

So the big one that we want to see is you don't want to boil the ocean,

right?

You don't,

there's Facebook live,

there's Instagram live,

there's youtube,

there's all these other avenues where you guys be using video,

choose one and get consistent with that.

So that's birthdays,

it's anniversary.

Starting with just your repeat and referral business,

the people that already know,

like,

and trust you,

you can start with them.

It's going to help you gain your confidence so that you can start doing some

more of the advanced things that we talk about all the time.

So for here at Keller Williams family union come by the booth,

we talk about some advanced strategies.

The other thing that you want to think about also real quick,

I told you a timeout.

I just want to put an exclamation point behind.

What he said is that there's the,

oftentimes,

again,

there's so many things you could do with video if people are doing so many

things that just pick one thing and you pointed at an interesting point is that

we tend to be most comfortable when we're talking to people that already know

us,

like us and trust us.

And to simply do even a one to one video,

right?

You can,

you can do it on your phone and send it via text or even a better solution is

check out BombBomb.

Uh,

because you can,

you can actually talk to your spouse,

like just get really comfortable,

um,

having a conversation with people that aren't going to judge you that aren't

gonna care.

They just love you and do that for a little bit until you get really comfortable

with,

right?

The thing that we have found so often,

it's just starting with the understanding that people matter,

right?

Are spoken here is we believe in you when you believe in your clients,

and so when you're reaching out to them and you're saying simple things like

happy birthday,

or I remembered they just got back from vacation and just want to see how the

thing was,

or if you want to see pictures or if you want to meet them for coffee or

something like that,

you're rehumanizing.

That way that you interact,

it's no longer transactional.

It's more about them and that's the big deal.

I love it.

Great stuff,

man.

All right,

your second point.

So first of all,

it starts simple.

Choose one thing,

go at it.

What was the second point?

The second point is kind of what I just was saying is that you need them to be

the hero,

right?

You can't,

you can't allow yourself to try and do the here.

I went to a training just recently in Columbia,

South Carolina,

and I asked all the agents,

I said,

raise your hand if you believe you're the hero for your client,

and a 95% raise their hands and that's just not accurate.

We a,

I read this book called building a StoryBrand by Donald Miller and he talks

very,

very highly around either guide because the guide is going to stay in people's

lives.

Everyone wants to be their own hero.

And so for you guys,

that's what you need to start focusing on is how do you provide value so that

you're helping them when their story.

So again,

so we've got a question here from Elizabeth Davidson,

a friend and client of mine.

How often should you post videos on social media?

Right?

It's a good question.

Um,

I'll let,

let's both maybe answer that.

They might be different answers,

but go ahead.

What are your thoughts?

Okay,

so my thoughts on it,

I mean you think,

I think you start with maybe once a week is your post on social media or maybe

that that email update to your entire database,

right?

Because you don't want to overwhelm them.

I am.

I work in video and I think you can do it too much.

And I think that was a great question because what happens is that if you do it

too much and you're not providing value,

then they're going to start unfollowing you.

But again,

with that,

I'll put a little bit of a caveat because you do a lot of videos every single

day,

but if it's valuable,

you watch,

you tune in,

you're tuning in right now at seven 30 in the morning because she's in Portland,

Oregon,

five 30 in the morning because he provides overwhelming value.

And so if you can do that every single time that you get on air,

if you're providing value,

you're not just talking about the weather or something like that,

providing value for people,

they're going to tune in and you can continue to do those things.

So I think that was going to be my point,

isn't,

it really depends,

right?

To get online,

just to get online to be heard.

Um,

I don't think it's a good strategy.

Um,

I think you really,

if you have something specific to the liver that you know,

has helped people,

like I would say that most people do video too infrequently.

Can you overdo it?

Sure.

If you're not delivering value,

absolutely 100%.

But if you are delivering value,

I think sometimes we think that everybody in our network is going to see

everything we post.

And it's just not true.

Facebook algorithms and others,

they favor the frequent,

they favor the content creators.

And so even if you think like,

oh my God,

people don't want to hear from me every day of the week.

Even if you post it everyday of the week,

they might see it once or twice a week.

Right?

Yeah.

So,

um,

so I wouldn't overthink that part of it.

What I would dig into,

which is what Shane's talking about is how do I provide value?

And I think a great,

a great way to do that is when you get a really solid question from,

uh,

from,

uh,

from one of your clients.

You answer that question because if,

if it helped them,

then there's going to be value for the people.

Right?

Correct.

And I think one of the biggest things that agents can be doing is talking about

your struggle because a lot of times you buy and put in the perception that

everything is great,

right?

Everything was easy.

Well,

I just talked to a physical recently where they were stressing out trying to

list their house because they thought,

you know,

there's a seller's market.

I'm just going to sell this thing.

I don't need an agent.

But within two days into that whole process they want,

like they went crazy and they were looking for someone to guide them.

So again,

your,

your clients and your people,

potential clients are looking for you to be that valuable asset.

And so if you can start answering those questions that people have and helping

them understand that,

or just talking about your day and as you talk to people that try and do fizbos

or something like that,

and just trying to be that guy to think that that's where you're going to win

stuff.

Man,

I love it.

I love everything.

Kind of what these guys are doing.

If you haven't checked out BombBomb yet,

um,

$30 a month,

is that right?

$30 a month here at Keller Williams.

We're doing a big show la or a launch later down,

uh,

in July,

but they can get it here right now at the show.

So if you go to bombbomb.com forward slash kw f um,

you will be able to get that deal.

What if you're listening to this and you're not a Keller Williams agent?

If you do it right now while we're at the show.

Okay?

Which means today I survive.

Um,

you can,

you can jump on board.

Great tip.

I love it.

I'm going to put some up here.

It looks like it.

It's not,

I'm going to put Shane's email address up here on the screen.

So if you have specific questions that he has a kind of a giveaway,

you wants to give anybody who is interested.

Um,

thanks Elizabeth.

Also for,

and then,

uh,

Shane has a video influencer guide,

right?

It's something that was,

it's gone through.

In fact,

one of my friends,

Brandon Porter,

I believe is in it this past year.

Um,

but people who have done video at a high level,

there's some great stuff in there.

Again,

I don't want to go against what we talked about earlier,

which just start really simple.

But if you're already at that point and you're just looking at adding better

content,

better value.

Yup.

These are the best in the business in real estate across the country.

Uh,

we had over 3000 applicants and we picked just the top 50.

So what they're doing in these different areas.

So there's five different categories you can take a look at that.

The other thing that I'm going to add,

just because we're doing this on the show right now,

is our real estate action plan.

If you're looking to understand what are those one or two ways I could do video

and I,

I just don't understand which ones I could do.

We have a list of those and we can give you those examples and we'll get that to

you guys.

No,

no charge to you.

Just send a,

an email to Shane up on mom.com and this life like video.

I love him man.

All right.

Thanks so much.

Tons of.

Now you think somebody for tuning in,

we'll see you on the next step of stuff right.
