Is it possible to stay young forever?
Physically it is not possible, because with aging process you will loose some hair, your
skin will hang loosely, these things will happen.
But psychologically?
Can we be psychologically young forever?
So let's first clear the meaning of remaining young psychologically.
By nature in our childhood we all reamain curious, but when we grow up, this one dialogue
"I know that" slowly kills the curiosity in us.
And which in result makes us psychologically old day by day.
"I know everything" this wrong understanding is the main killer of curiosity in us.
For example, a same rose is placed infront of you and a child.
The child does not even know that it is a flower.
So by nature the child will be curious about that flower.
He may touch that, smell that.
But what will you say, "Oh I know that flower, it's a rose.
It is of red colour and it smells very nice.
See, I know everything about that flower" Really!
Do you know everything about that flower?
By mixing transparent water with the brown soil, how this red colour flower is grown
up?
Why is this beautiful smell coming from it?
Just like this how many things are there which you have no idea about the flower?
You may know just .1% about that flower, that what is it's colour, how does it smell and
what is it's name and you say you know everything about the flower.
These kind of wrong understandings kill the childhood curiosity in us, it kills the eagerness
to learn to know something new.
The name, smell and colour of that flower is nothing but just a piece of information,
which we also call knowledge.
In this era of artificial intelligence this same piece of information if feeded inside
a robot then that robot will also identify the flower.
So you have to decide, what is your main aim in life?
Just to keep acquiring knowledge to live like a robot or to discover what life truly is?
To discover the different dimensions of life?
The problem is we are considering knowledge as understanding.
For example, you will find infinite information about what is love in different books, on
the internet.
Now suppose if you put all those information inside your head, still will you be able to
experience what love actually is?
Unless and until you yourself is experiencing that?
Now here is one more thing to understand, experiencing by yourself does not mean to
experience through the information that are already feeded in your head.
That love means pain or pleasure or it is a sweet emotion!
When you leave all these information aside and experience love as it is, just like a
scientist observes a thing remaining completely unbiased, only then you can understand what
love actually is.
For this, first you have to free yourself from all the baggage of beliefs and information
that is already feeded in your head.
Only then you can observe something remaining completely unbiased.
For example, there is a woman who used to fight everyday with his husband, but that
same woman is very dear to her father.
So that same woman, when seen from the point of view of her husband is very negative kind
of person, and when seen from the point of view of her father is a very good and positive
kind of person.
So which one is true?
Because when her husband is looking at her, he is looking through all the bad memories
that he has with her but when her father is looking at her, he is looking through all
the good memories that he has with her.
So, both of these are biased point of view.
What is the true nature of that woman?
No one is observing that!
Because everyone is looking through their own memories.
As a result that same woman seems to be different to different people.
As nowadays, it has become very common that people from different countries or different
relegions start to fight with each other on the social media.
They don't know each other, they have no idea how the other person actually is in real life,
but still based upon some strong beliefs they start to fight with each other.
Without thinking about the fact that first we are all humans made with same blood and
flesh.
By quarreling with others, as a nation or as a religion do we increase our respect or
do we decrease it?
Do we want to represent ourselves as representatives of love or as representatives of hatred?
What is this source of hatred?
Some information or some kind of bad experience.
As after the first breakup most of the people start to believe that everyone in this world
is betrayer.
So, when we hold on to this kind of bad experiences or beliefs for the rest of our life, then
it starts to kill the curiosity in us and we start to become psychologically old.
And what is the source of love?
Observing unbiased that which is true now.
For example, getting betrayed by Anjali in his first relationship, Raj went into a relationship
again with Riya.
Now if Raj always start to see Riya through his memories, will Raj be able to truly love
Riya?
Because then if Riya will do something that Anjali also used to do, Raj may think that
Riya is also betraying Raj just like Anjali did.
But if raj leave all the past related information that are feeded in his memory, and look at
Riya as it is she is now, only then Raj can feel the love from Riya or he can truly love
her.
Because only when we look at something to see it as it is now, not through our memories
or information that are already feeded in our mind, then only we can experience what
is called true love.
Like getting lost looking at someone's eyes, when there is no thought about past or future,
only then we can feel what love actually is.
So, psychologically to stay young forever you have to nurture the curiosity in you,
make sure you are always open and ready to learn, to know something new.
Do everything with such amount of curiosity as if you are doing it for the first time
in life.
