Hij wist de Tweede Kamer goed te vullen met enthousiastelingen, zo blijkt. En met optredens van Henk Bleeker (CDA) en Khadija Arib (PvdA) bleek FVD ook bereid over de eigen partijgrenzen heen te kunnen kijken

Hij had het over de ledendag van het Forum voor Democratie in Den Haag afgelopen zaterdag, waar talloze FVD'ers zich verzamelden in de Tweede Kamer om eens omringd te zijn door politieke vrienden
Een dag vol lezingen, zo blijkt uit het filmmateriaal, maar er gebeurden ook tal van andere zaken
Zo konden jeugdige lavendelsnuivers in de schoenen van hun politieke idool treden en in de plenaire zaal van de Tweede Kamer met elkaar de degens kruisen, kon er geschaakt worden en was er uiteraard buitengewoon veel gelegenheid voor selfies en andere foto's
Voor de leden een mooi dagje uit, maar uiteraard was het rondleiden door de Tweede Kamer niet het enige doel van de FVD-ledendag: er staan natuurlijk verkiezingen voor de deur, dus het is van belang om zoveel mogelijk mensen zo enthousiast mogelijk te krijgen voor de stembusgang
Want wie verkiezingen zegt, zegt campagnevoeren. En zonder razendenthousiast kader dat dag en nacht voor je stemmen wil werven, red je het gewoon niet

Daylight Savings Time at Gogokid - A Gogokid Brand Contributor Video - Duration: 7:50.
Hello Teacher Janice here. Is this your first daylight savings time as an
online teacher? let's talk about how to spring forward fall back let's talk
about daylight savings time today. how does daylight savings time affect me
as an online teacher well as a gogokid kid teacher most of my students are in
China and China does not observe daylight savings time so my students are not
changing their clocks but I am and I want to make sure that I am ready for my
class I want to make sure that I'm there at the right time on time that I'm not a
teacher no-show but I also want to make sure that I don't accidentally show up
an hour early for class and rob myself of a precious hour of sleep. I don't want
that to happen to me and I don't want it to happen to you either so I'm gonna
walk you through how I set up my schedule and think out loud a little bit
to help you understand how daylight savings time is going to
the bookings page gets the time from your computer so your computer clock is going to change
automatically and your bookings page is already anticipating daylight savings
time so you don't have to go in and tell your bookings page about daylight
savings time you don't have to tell them that your times are changing and if you
log on right now I'm actually gonna show you where you can see that the booking
screen is already adjusted so right now if you're opening up future time slots
the bookings page looks different and you might not even know where these
changes are present so the date I'm looking for on my schedule for daylight
savings time is March 10th so if you look on this schedule right now this is
a copy of my booking screen and Sunday March 10th has those weird grey boxes so
there are time slots that you're not allowed to book and that's because when
your time automatically changes it happens at two o'clock in the morning
and your clock will skip ahead an hour automatically or manually if you need to
change your clock and that 2:00 to 3:00 a.m. time doesn't actually really exist
so you can't book a class at 2:00 a.m. or 2:30 a.m. my time in Eastern Standard
Time because that's not going to be a real time that's the hour that I lose
when we spring forwards if you look at Monday
Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday it looks like something funny
happened there too but really it's just because they're showing the whole week
and they're anticipating the change having to show time slots they don't
usually show so currently today my time slots only go to 8 a.m. Eastern Standard
Time and they have to add these other two blocks in because starting on Sunday
those two time slots will be available to book so they're just graying out
slots that don't exist similarly in the evening I can currently start teaching
as early as 8:00 p.m. but that will no longer be the case as of Sunday March
10th because daylight savings time will have happened and those two time slots
will no longer fall into the time when gogokid is open - if you look at life
after daylight savings time we don't see those gray bars anymore but you do have
to look really carefully as I mentioned before my teaching time in the evening
starts an hour later which is kind of sad but my teaching time in the morning
extends a full additional hour and serve those of us teaching full-time online
this is usually great news this is often a time of year where were able to make a
little bit more money because we can teach a little bit later in the morning
without getting up so early let's take a closer look at one specific time slot to
explain this in a different way I start teaching at 5:30 a.m. Eastern Standard
Time every single day so it's March 11th in this picture this is after daylight
savings time happens that will show you that this class takes place at 5:30 a.m.
my time and that that is 5:30 p.m. for my students if you look at pre daylight
savings time you'll see that 5:30 a.m. my time is actually 6:30 p.m. in China
so again my time is now a different time for my students and this is important to
you if you're trying to book those peak peak time slots so peak time slot for
our students is still 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Beijing time it is still those same 4
time slots for them but those 4 time slots are now a different time of day in
your schedule after daylight savings time so if you are normally trying to
open up those peak peak time slots to increase your
chances of booking you need to be aware of where on your schedule those peak
peak time slots are for me I teach to peak time slots and I take two off when
I get my children ready for school but which to peak time slots I'm teaching
now changes and that is going to affect my students in some way so if I have
students who are normally trying to book with me at a certain time that hour that
they try to grab a class with me might now be the hour where I'm getting my
children ready for school so you might see a little bit of fluctuation in your
bookings if you keep your personal schedule exactly the same because the
times you are available are now different times than your students that
usually book with you might be trying to get classes some teachers shift their
schedule an hour to stay consistent with the same times for the student it really
just depends on what works best for you if you need to teach five classes every
morning to make the target income that you need then you have different time
slots to choose from to fill in those five slots for the day so again for some
teachers this is great news for some teachers this is sad for my evening
times 9 p.m. is a pretty tough start time for me that's getting really late
for me to be an effective teacher to be starting by teaching in the morning it's
great news for me because it means that I can still teach the same number of
classes in the morning that I want but maybe I can not wake up as early or I
can wake up at the same time and actually get more classes in and make a
little bit more money so you'll see some teachers that are very happy about
daylight savings time and you'll see some teachers that are very disappointed
but I wanted to explain what you need to be thinking about as you look at your
schedule why it looks different and things you should have on your mind as
you start to open additional time slots after daylight savings time
I would suggest that you log out of gogokid and then log back in to see
what your booking screen looks like if you still detect a problem
personally I would log out of gogokid and I would reboot my whole computer I
am again gogokid is getting your schedule from your computer clock and my
computer really benefits from a hard reboot sometimes when it's just acting a
little funny but you want to give the opportunity for the portal to attach to
your correct time zone and then if you really don't think your schedule has
reflected properly for where you live in daylight savings time you want to take
tons of screenshots to really clearly demonstrate what you're seeing and what
you think you should be seeing and you want to send a ticket and you want to
send a ticket as soon as possible so that's why I'm sharing this video today
because you don't want to schedule classes at a time you're not available
if you're booking screen doesn't look right today is the day you need to
figure that out so go through these steps study daylight savings time ask
some questions let's talk it through together but if you think your booking
screen is not displaying accurate information right now let's go ahead and
try to get it fixed as soon as possible so that you can be in class when the
students expect you to be there give me a message down below if you have any
