Chesapeake Boulevard public bus stop is at Chesapeake Boulevard and Dundale via

bus three there's grass between the curb and sidewalk and hedges double

passageways between the hedges have dirt or grass the passageway near the bus

stop is unstable dirt and lead to the crosswalk

there is dirt after the hedges and you'll need to step down off the rounded

curb into the visitors road that goes to the school's main entrance crossing the

road there is a lined crosswalk to the sidewalk that is by the side of the

building the curb on the sidewalk is rounded on the edge and you'll need to

step up

once you were on the sidewalk on the right side of the school the left side

is the student parking lot doing the shelter exercise the food truck will be

parked here near the curb a little way down on the sidewalk is an accessible

ramp from the parking lot on your right side is the entrance to the school but

it's not to the shelter

walking on the sidewalk you will turn left which lead to the accessible

parking area located between the two parking lots on the left is the student

parking lot for the shelter and contains 198 standard parking space accessible

parking area has two car accessible spaces and two van accessible spaces

the ramp access is built into the sidewalk lot on the right is the

visitors lot with a median in the middle and has 62 standard spaces no accessible

parking from the accessible parking area take a right walking the sidewalk to the

main sidewalk around the building on the left is a circular drop-off area with a

ramp built into the sidewalk that buses use and paratransit turn right from

the ramp with the shelter entrance on the far left and far right of the patio

there is grass and trees in the middle of red brick patio the circular seating

area with bushes in the middle the entrance of the shelter is the left side

of the patio patio will change from brick to cement in the other school and

the entrance has two double doors there's not an automatic door opener and

there are a two double doors inside as well after open the door walk straight

to the left to the registration area which is located in the common area or

cafeteria and is approximately 12,428 square feet after registration

you'll still be in the common area and this is you for feeding and has two

skylights there are three different types of tables round rectangular and

octagon diagonally across from registration is a red brick area which

is used for staff when you come into the shelter immediately to your left is the

hallway that goes down to room 125 which is used for triage by the public health

nurses this is a music area

triage will also happen in room 124

which seems to be used for either band or chorus on the same hallway that you

go to the triage area you see the auditorium this will be used for

training on Friday night and the movie there is some built-in seating for

wheelchairs in the back row in the front row on the right and the left there's

also access ramps on each end the one on the right will go out to the hallway

toward the restrooms after leaving the auditorium you'll go into the hallway

and make a left you'll go through a set of double doors which lead to the

restroom the men's room is first on the right and then the ladies room to go

into this men's room you need to go through a door make a right make a left

make another left then a right the accessible stall will be the first one

on the right which contains handrails

there are several other stalls on the right after that then on your far right

will be urinals and across from that will be the sink area there are two

pedestal sinks with a paper towel holder and a trash can underneath it the soap

dispenser is up on the wall at the back is it way to get out of the room to the

outside but this door will be locked the restroom for the women who's located

next to the men's room you'll have to go through a door make a left make a right

make another right and make a left on your far right

soap above one of this thing accessible stall is the first one on the left there

are a number of stalls on both the left and the right the last all on the right

is accessible but not for wheelchairs as it has handrails this bathroom also goes

to the outside area but this door will be locked during the shelter exercise

their additional restroom located behind registration the first one is the ladies

there is no door you will go in make a right make a left and make a right and

then there you'll have sinks on the right-hand side pedestal with soap on

them trashcan between paper towels

immediately above there are stalls on the left and the right the last one on

the left has handrails but it is not accessible for wheelchair the last one

on the right is the accessible stall

between the ladies room in the men's room is access to the gym the men's room

is on the left has no door you go in paper towel holder is immediately when

you go in with the trash can underneath you make a left make a right and make

another right and then the sinks are on your left 2 pedestal sink with soap

between urinals on the right accessible stall is on the far left at

the back but there is no hardware on it and dimension do not meet ADA Accessibility

climbers there are other dolls off at the common area between the men's room

and ladies room is the entrance to the gymnasium which is where sleeping will

occur in the general shelter on the far right where the bleachers are pushed in

are the other restrooms and showers bleachers are pushed in and the

basketball court will be rolled up in the far back of the gym is a smaller gym

which will be used for medical sheltering they'll be cots for people

with disabilities and their care providers outside of this building will

be a medicals shelter support unit which will have equipment and a generator you

can access the locker room through the hallway or through the gymnasium if you

go through the hallway you'll go in a door

you'll make a left then a right and then another right and then you will be into

the ladies restroom the first stall on the left is for accessibility sink is on

the right there's a trash can in the corner paper towel holder between the

two sing beyond that or locker room come back out make a right go a short

distance and make another right and you'll be in the showers

there are locker rooms behind you there are a number of stalls for showers the

last one on the left is the accessible stall with a bench handrails and shower

in the boys locker room you can access from the gym or from the hallway you

would go in make a left make a right make another right walk down a distance

make a left then another left the first stall on the right is the accessible

stall the sinks are on the left with paper towel holders between beyond the

stalls are a couple of urinals on the far wall across from the sinks the other

end you go out to the locker room you make a right and then another right and

then you'll be in the shower there are no privacy areas except for the

accessible which has handrail bench but no shower curtain in the common area to

the left of the cafeteria window is the door you're going to make a left make a

right down the hallway on the right or to drink machines in the hallway this

hallway leads down to some quiet rooms the first quiet room is 127 which is the

ROTC room back with a hallway intersected or some more quiet room the

first one is 128 which is a class room 129 is a weight room 130 is a class room

131 is a classroom and 132 is a classroom from the common area to the right of the

kitchen there's another hallway that goes down the quiet room when those

107 is a classroom right across from it is 108 which is the classroom but has

computers in it immediately next to 108 is 106 which is ROTC room you can

also get to the ROTC room from the back

across from 106 is 105 which is a science classroom is very large

when you come out of 105 diagonally to your left is room 104 this room 104 is a

large classroom when you come out of 104 you make a left go down to the

end 103 is a special education classroom two doors over to the left is 102 which

is another special ed classroom

diagonally across from 102 is 101 101 is a classroom you can also get to the back

of 106 through this room on your right which is the ROTC room this concludes
