LIDL develops corporate social responsibility projects that enhance the development and

capacitation of the communities they are part of.

The certification of LIDL's range is very important, as it assures its quality, being

the sole retailer in Portugal that exclusively sells MSC certified codfish and UTZ certified

chocolates.

The first campaign for Cien, named "Intelligent beauty", was released in 2017, personified

by the TV presenter Andreia Rodrigues, it aimed to show that the concept of beauty includes

making intelligent choices, thus focusing on the price-quality ratio of all Cien range.

The "Less is More" campaign shows how LIDL demands less of what is not good to deliver

more to their clients, offering more sustainability, respect for food and a better control from

the source, which contributes to a fresher and higher quality range of products.

LIDL launched a new didactic collection campaign called "Farmyard Friends" to teach kids

about the origin of their food, a saving campaign "Grain by Grain" to help the families

save money and also their first Esmara fashion collection designed by Heidi Klum.

LIDL is the Food Retailer of the Year at the Retail Masters Awards 2017.

There were 9 products were featured in the Taste of the Year Awards.
