You are the leader of an autonomous totalitarian faction.
You seek revolution over the oppressive capitalist power structure
that infects the motherboard like a malicious worm.
You will do so by dominating the heart-circuits and core
programming of your fellow mechanical citizens.
Then, you will subvert the less-evolved agendas of your opponents by any means.
Cogs and Commissars is a smarter take-that card game
about growing or stealing a robotic following.
During your turn, you might rouse the proletariat,
reprogram the bourgeoisie, or recruit valuable commissars.
Each faction leader, like Simulenin and Gorobotchev, has unique abilities.
Choose from two methods of game set-up.
Use pre-made faction decks if you are impatient to deliver your dogma to the citizens.
Or, drafting, if you wish to fine-tune your faction according to your needs.
Either way, players control the means of production.
Your seven-card hand determines which actions are available to you.
Make your enemies suffer by assassinating their leaders.
Send them to work in the infinite labor loop of the gulag.
And mute those who would dare increment the resistance against you.
Look for winning combinations.
Each card is useful but some are more potent at different times
or when used in combination with others.
When you finally network enough bots, you may attempt a revolution!
