MS Dhoni stepped down as India's limited overs captain, just days before the announcement

of the team for ODI and T20 series against England.

The BCCI put out a tweet stating the same.

The board, however, said that Dhoni will be available for selection for England series

After taking over the captaincy from Rahul Dravid, Dhoni had guided India to victory

in the 2007 World T20, 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy beside

powering the team to number one ranking in Test cricket.

Dhoni retired from Test cricket during India's tour to Australia in 2014 following a slump

in form.

Virat Kohli who took over the Test captaincy and he is also the front-runner for the job

in limited overs.

Dhoni was the most successful captain for India as the team registered maximum wins

under his leadership in Tests and ODIs.

He is also credited for most back-to-back wins by India in ODIs.

He captained India in 199 ODIs and 72 T20Is.

Pro Tips: Comparing Woodturning Tool Steels - Duration: 5:00.

Hi, I'm Mike with Craft Supplies USA and

today's pro tip is on woodturning tool steels.

Turning tools remove more wood in

a few short minutes than most other

woodworking tools do after a few days of

use.

Because of this, they need to be made of

steel that can hold a sharp edge much

longer than traditional high carbon steel.

Fortunately we have a ton of

modern steels to choose from, but with so

many choices available,

it's easy to get confused.

No one type of steel is better than all the others.

Each steel has its pros and cons, but rest

assured they all perform great.

Let's discuss the most common turning tool

steels and rate them in three

categories as we go.

Each steel will be rated from 1 to 5 in

sharpness of edge, edge durability and

price.

Keep in mind this is a practical

comparison based on the experience of

professional turners. We're not going to

get down to the molecular level here.

Let's start with the industry standard,

M2 High Speed Steel.

M2 takes a very fine edge, producing very clean cuts, but

it doesn't hold an edge as long as some

of the others.

This means you'll visit the grinder a

bit more often, but for most turners

that's not a big deal.

It's the most affordable steel in the

comparison, and because of its fine edge,

it's the go to steel for most pros when

making final cleanup cuts.

Here's how we scored M2 High Speed Steel.

It has ery good edge sharpness, good durability

and it's also the most affordable steel in the lineup.

Up next is cryogenically

treated M2 High Speed Steel or "Kryo"

as it's called.

The cryogenic freezing process makes the steel harder

and more wear resistant than m2.

This means Kryo M2 holds an edge about

twice as long, so you don't have to

sharpen as often.

The cryogenic process also tightens the

grain structure of the steel, allowing

Kryo M2 to be honed to an even finer edge than heat treated M2.

Here's how we scored Kryo M2 Steel.

Top marks for edge sharpness and very good durability

as well, but they are a bit expensive.

Now onto M4 High Speed Steel.

The selection of tools is limited and

they're a bit more expensive than M2, but

they hold an edge about twice as long as

M2 and can be honed to nearly as fine an edge.

Here's how we scored M4 High Speed Steel.

Very good at sharpness and

good durability, but they do cost a bit

more money and the selection of M4 tools is limited.

The next steel type is

produced via powdered metallurgy

technology, also known as PM or CPM Steel.

PM Steel is popular among

production woodturners for roughing bowl

blanks, as a hold an edge on average five

to six times longer than M2.

However, the nature of PM Steel is such that it's

unable to be honed to a fine edge, which

is why production turners tend to make

their final finishing cuts using M2 tools.

Having such a durable edge can

save a lot of time spent sharpening, but

it doesn't come cheap.

Here's how we rated PM tools.

Good sharpness and top marks for edge

durability, but this exotic steel tends to be more expensive.

The final steel we'll discuss is M42.

A relative newcomer to the woodturning world, M42 High Speed Steel

is truly unique, in that it holds

an edge as long as PM Steel,

yet it can be honed to a very fine edge.

Here's how we rated M42 High Speed Steel.

Top marks for both edge sharpness and edge durability.

This high performance steel

is also an exceptional value.

We've discussed a lot about tool steels today

and there's no clear winner, because we

all have different needs, expectations

and budgets for our tools.

Let's take a final look at how all of

the tool steels rated in this comparison.

We're fortunate to have so many quality

tool manufacturers to choose from today.

Some producing tools for well over a

hundred years now.

Unfortunately, we see a lot of cheap imports made from

low quality, generic High Speed Steel.

Be wary of low priced turning tools.

When it comes to woodturning tools, the saying

"you get what you pay for" rings true.

So stick with reputable brands, from

reputable dealers.

informed buying decision on your next

turning to purchase.

What's a second life?

Second lives is a difficult concept to grasp.

>> Then why don't you give us an example then, Skid?

In the old days one of the most popular second

lives was the world of gold farming.

>> Yes, many died grinding in the fields of dire bore and

the iron forge auctions.

built to keep them out, and their society collapsed.

It became a world of war.

>> Sounds fun, doesn't it children?

>> No.

Or maybe you kids will like the preferred

Navigating Chrome on Mac by Keyboard: Full Keyboard Access & Browsing - Duration: 4:35.

LAURA PALMARO: Hi, I'm Laura and I'm on the Chrome accessibility

team at Google.

In this quick video, I'm going to show you some different ways to navigate Chrome on

your Mac using just your keyboard.

We'll cover setting up full keyboard access, common  browsing techniques, and where you

can get more information.

First I'm going to start off with something that's specifically for the Mac.

It's called "Full Keyboard Access."

And by default, your Mac keyboard is set to navigate only to text boxes and lists on screen.

But, when you make a quick change in settings, you can access all controls on the screen.

So I'll navigate to system preferences.

There are a handful of ways to do this, but I'll go ahead and press Command and the

Spacebar to open up Apple's Spotlight Search, then type System Preferences and press Enter.

From here, I can type Keyboard in the search box, arrow down to keyboard shortcuts and

press enter.

Towards the bottom of the screen under the full keyboard access section, simply make

sure that the option for "all controls" is selected.

And we're set!

Now let's talk about browsing.

You may already know that you can browse a page a few different ways:

...using the Up and Down arrow keys…

...holding down the Function key and pressing the up or down arrows to jump through larger

sections of the page…

…holding down the Function key and pressing the Left or Right arrows to jump to the top

or bottom of the page...

...or, if you're on a Mac desktop computer with a full keyboard, you can use the Home

and End keys to do the same thing.

But did you know you can also scroll down whole sections of a page just by pressing

the Spacebar?

When you reach the end of the page, simply press Shift with the Spacebar to scroll back

up.

To move around the page, jumping from one clickable thing to another, press Tab.

And to jump backwards?

Shift + tab.

Now I'm going to stay on this tab but go to another web page.

I'll press Command L, as in location, to place my cursor in the omnibox, type a URL,

and press enter.

If I want to go back to the previous page, I just hold down the Command key and press

the Left arrow.

To go forward again, you probably guessed -- I can press Command and the Right arrow

key.

I can also do this same thing another way.

I can press Command and the Left bracket to go back to the previous page.

The left bracket key is next to the letter P on your keyboard.

And to go forward again?

If you guessed Command + Right bracket, you got it!

If I want to refresh the page at any time, I can press Command + R as in Refresh.

And to get to the Home page at any time (which I personally have set to Google.com), I press

Command + Shift + H as in home.

Next, If I hold down Command and Shift, and then press the Question Mark, it opens the

Help menu, and my cursor is automatically placed in the help search box.

With the Help menu open, I can now type a search term,  press the Down arrow then enter

to report an issue to Google,

Or I can press Down again and then Enter to open Google Chrome's Help Center in a new

tab.

Remember: Command + Shift + Question-Mark opens that menu.

Finally, I'm going to close the whole browser now by pressing Command + Q, as in Quit.

So now we've seen some helpful ways to browse by keyboard, and where to find additional

help.

Baguette Flash #9: PENTA Sports, Team Brexit, Team Yoghurt & mercato ! - Duration: 7:31.

Hello, welcome to the Rocket Baguette channel.

Let us first wish you a very happy new year,

full of happiness, good health, aerials...

but most of all, we wish that, in 2017,

you will never lack boost anymore.

Welcome to the Baguette Flash, the weekly report about the RL competitive scene.

Summary this week: ESL GO4 #75,

the first of the year, Friday's Gfinity, the last of the year,

then we'll talk about two other tourneys, where the French have done great:

the Rewind Gaming and the NA Nexus Gaming.

As usual, we'll finish with the latest transfer market news.

Let's start with GO4 #75 that was played this Sunday, January 1st,

live with Rocket Baguette on Twitch channel esl_rocketleague_fr.

At 4th place comes Parallax.

British xtremechump was with the German Alex161 and Zeddo.

In ¼, Parallax defeated Almost Quality,another German team

that had beaten the French Royal Air Force.

It is our wonderful game of the week, you can watch the VOD

it's worth it.

In the semis, Parallax lost to Team Brexit,

who appeared strong again, after last week's final.

3rd place, another German team.

Team Enjoy also had a nice run.

ln RO32, they beat the French Steeline and the Italian Uncle Pig in ¼ finals.

Enjoy was Gnagflow06 and Mumuli & DNL, who substituted for Classic and Wass-Mann.

Surprisingly, Enjoy was beaten in the semis by My Little Pony,

with the British LJourney and the Swedish Zidr0x and Rivalo Nero.

In the finals, Team Brexit started the right way, winning the first 3 games.

FreaKi was solid in defense, while Stocki and Frag formed a nice offensive duo,

with several beautiful goals.

Zidr0x and his teammates eventually lifted their chins up,

winning 2 games and bringing the series to 3-2,

but Team Brexit will finish the job.

They won game 6 and the series: 4-2.

Team Brexit wins GO4 #75.

They're the first Rocket League tournament winners of 2017.

By the way, we have the names of 7 out of the 8 teams that will compete

for the ESL December Champion title.

Get Wigglytuff'd is seed #1, Pure Excellence (ex Uniquestars) is seed #2…

For 8th place, Aeriality and Team Brexit will play a tie-breaker.

Whoever wins, ESL Monthly will be hype, with a first round between

Get Wigglytuff'd – seed #1 - and the winner of this game – seed #8.

It will be live on esl_rocketleague_fr twitch, at 7 pm CET on Monday, Jan. 9th.

Let's go back in time to 2016, with the

last major tournament of 2016: Friday's Gfinity.

After their wonderful performances last week,

the trio Kaydop, Fairy Peak and Bluey trio competed again under the name of Baguettes.

That's the team name Kaydop generally uses in Gfinity tourneys.

Unfortunately, they couldn't do better than 1/2, they surprisingly lost to Leaf e-Sp.

In the other semi-finals, there was YES,

a dream-team formed of Turbopolsa, Deevo and Scrubkilla.

They beat Enjoy then faced PENTA...

and lost 3-0, straight.

FreaKii, Pwndx and Killerno7 were simply unstoppable.

Their teamplay, well-proven, helped them win easily

against three excellent players, that aren't playing consistently together.

Seeing Leaf e-Sport in the finals was clearly a surprise.

Composed of GMS, Mewyy and Krazack,

they had an excellent run, beating Reunited in 1/4 and Baguettes.

But they just faced a team in great form.

Before YES, they won against FeelsGuddieLuddiMan,

a team with NA GarretG, Al0t and Sikii.

PENTA kept going in the Finals.

FreaKii, Pwndx and Killerno7 were on fire and swept Leaf e-sports 4-0.

They prove once more their good momentum

Interesting fact: FreaKii won both the last tournament of 2016

and first tournament of 2017. Well played.

Let's speak of a new EU tournament, of which the 1st edition was held on Friday,

at the same time than Gfinity.

It's called Rewind Gaming, 16 teams were competing,

and a French Team won.

Team Yoghurt, made of Breker, former Luminance,

Bomba, another French rising talent, and Swiss Ikewolf.

They beat ERZ Gaming in the Grand Finals,

a team we usually see in advanced rounds of ESL GO4.

They almost made it into the December Monthly Finals.

In the end, Team Yoghurt won 3-0, including 2 overtime wins.

Congrats to Breker, Bomba and Ikewolf,

who win the $15 cash-prize. A small but real amount.

In the night of December 31st, for us Europeans,

was held the last NA tourney of 2016:

Nexus Gaming, with a $150 cash-prize.

Once more, Team Yoghurt made it to the Finals.

This time, Bomba and Ikewolf were with Ferra, other Luminance former player.

They faced Team Spork, formed of Kronovi,

Klassux and Torment. What a team!

Our European team was the challenger, not to mention the ping disadvantage.

They still managed to take one game, but they lost 4-1.

It was still a nice performance,

and we're delighted to see French players succeeding in international cups.

That it for the competitive news. Let's move on to the transfer market news.

Nothing really happened this week. No big announcement for new teams.

There are a lot of free agents, it would be too long to mention them all.

The players are probably waiting for Psyonix's next communication.

We're waiting for RLCS season 3

and for ingame ranking season 4.

There is no doubt that when there's a registration deadline for next RLCS,

teams will start to form officially. Psyonix, it's your turn now.

Here's a few pieces news, this week:

The German team Firewall signed a partnership with Atlas org.

From now on, their team will be called Atlas Firewall.

After their great run this week in GO4 #75,

Zidr0x, Rivalo Nero and Journey have officially decided to form a team.

However, they're not keeping My Little Pony as a team name. Dunno why.

Team name to be announced.

I bought her a succulent like this one

And this is not a pretty pot if you don't like simple/rustic decor

But I didn't know her taste for home decor

So I couldn't buy her just any pot

Right Wal?! haha, Wal is my friend

So I thought I could wrap it with somenthing

So I got this idea

I used a shopping bag!

Since I like this pattern, I decided to use it in this project

So I made it, and this is the one I made to myself, the ones I made to my friend, I already gave them to her :)

Best DIY Hot Oil Treatment for Natural Hair - Duration: 5:28.

Hey curlfriends and welcome back!

Today I'm going to show you guys how to use a hot oil treatment to combat thinning edges,

split ends as well as dry hair.

I recently showed you guys my winter wash day routine.

Whenever I do my hot oil treatments, I just go ahead and shampoo my hair then I move into

my hot oil treatment.

I'm using this applicator bottle to make the application process a lot more easier.

I can get to my scalp better with the nozzle.

The nozzle makes this a nice, seamless application process.

The first technique that I'm going to show you guys is for thinning edges.

Don't be alarmed if you have thinning edges, it is a common natural hair problem.

I'm going to show you guys today how you can combat that.

I'm starting off on shampooed hair.

My hair is a bit damp.

You want to use an old t-shirt for this hot oil treatment.

This oil will stain.

I'm focusing the oil on my hairline itself.

I'm just going to apply the oil along my hairline.

I'm going to use the fingertips to go ahead and massage this oil in.

You want to take your time and make sure that you're covering your entire hairline and rubbing

this in very nice and gentle.

Just make sure that you're getting into that scalp.

Massaging the scalp will allow the blood flow to flow much more easier and it will allow

the oil to soak in.

The next technique that we're going to do is for dry scalp or psoriasis, any of you

guys that suffer with dry scalp.

I'm just going to split my hair into 4 separate sections just so that I can get through the

thickness of my hair more easier.

I'm just clipping those away and I'm going to start with the left section.

I'm just going through with horizontal parts, medium sized parts.

I just want to make sure that I'm getting as much oil on my scalp itself as possible.

I'm just splitting it into small sections, rubbing that oil through.

I'll go back in with my fingertips to distribute the oil throughout my entire my scalp and

make sure the entire section is covered.

Then I'll just twist the hair back up, clip it away and move on to the next section.

A lot of times with dry scalp or flaky scalp; it's really just hydration of the scalp, your

hair is missing a lot of hydration.

This oil will help to loosen up those scabs and allow them to rinse away whenever you

use your shampoo again.

Like I said, this is really good for dry scalp, psoriasis, any kind of dryness of the scalp.

You can also use this as a pre-poo.

Apply this to your scalp, let it sit for a little bit, then go in with your shampoo,

so that it comes off with the shampoo.

This Jamaican Black Castor Oil with Mongogo and Cotton Tee is really great for unblocking

the pores and allowing your scalp to breathe.

This is great for scalp treatments!

We're also going to work on these split ends, if you suffer from split or dry ends.

You can apply the oil directly to your ends and saturate the entire hair running the oil

through.

After I get the oil on to the hair, I personally like to twirl the ends just to make sure that

everything is fully saturated and that oil can penetrate those dry ends.

Last but not least, dry hair.

If you suffer from dry hair, here's a little trick.

You can use just a basic hot oil treatment.

Just put the oil directly onto to the hair.

Move it throughout the hair, smooth it down, just get it throughout the entire hair.

Or you can use a mask, which I'll show you how to create in a little bit.

This Mongongo Oil has a lot of nutrients, Vitamin E, just a lot of great, exotic properties

that's going to help to condition the hair, restructure it and hydrate it.

This is a great oil for dry hair!

Here's the mask that I was telling you guys about.

You can use any conditioner of your choice.

Just apply 1/2 of the conditioner to 1/2 of the oil to create this mixture.

The conditioner itself is going to give this mixture a nice, thick consistency to lay on

top of your hair.

There's your homemade mask.

Literally just 2 ingredients.

If you're on a budget and you can't afford any of the shampoo's and conditioners that

include oils in them, this is a great way to DIY it yourself at home.

Grabbing a generous amount of our newly constructed mixture, I'm just going to apply this to my

hair.

I'm just going to go section by section to make sure that everything is fully saturated!

You guys want to make sure that when you're doing anything with these hot oil treatments

you want to make sure that you're using a really old shirt.

You will end up dropping the oil on your clothing.

A lot of times the oils do stain so just keep that in mind.

Last but not least, after you finish figuring out which hot oil treatment you would like

to use, you could either use a shower cap and allow your body heat to create the greenhouse

effect and heat up your hair underneath this cap.

You can also opt for a blow dryer attachment like I did.

I leave this on my hair for about 15 minutes minimum, up to 45 minutes.

Then, I'll just take down my hair and rinse and wash away this mask.

As you guys can see, my hair is super soft and moisturized.

This oil worked absolute wonders on my hair.

I love using exotic and pure oils that don't have a lot of chemicals in them.

I'm just going to go ahead and rinse this out and proceed with my styling whether I

go for a protective style or straighten my hair.
