Hey everyone, and welcome to our new video.

This time we're checking out

this amazing product by Forever,

and it's a multimedia LED smart projector.

Let's see what we have in here:

You get a projector, two cables,

a user manual, and a remote controller.

Let us mention first, that

this lamp has 30K hours on it,

so it should last you for a real long time.

It has a built-in Wi-Fi, the Android OS,

and the quad-core processor.

You can connect a lot of different devices wirelessly,

or through the ports on the side.

For the other specifications,

the projector has brightness of 1200 lumens,

the projection distance is from 1m to 3.5m

which allows you to be really flexible

with your space that you like to work at.

You can even project in your ceiling,

and lay down and watch anything you like,

and I think that's really awesome.

The setup is quite easy:

just plug-in your cable,

hold the power-button,

wait for the menu to appear.

Also there's a keystone correction,

that can enable your projector to correct

the image to rectangle shape

if your device is tilted.

Next thing you do is connect to a wireless network,

and a google account to it,

just like you would do on your smartphone.

The remote controller works just fine,

but we do advise you to use a keyboard and a mouse.

It's a lot easier to move around the menus and type.

Now you can use your apps.

It's really easy to use the web browser,

and of course there is the YouTube app.

The device is also designed to accept

SD cards, and USB flash drives,

so you can easily access pictures and videos

from its memories.

If you want to project stuff for your smart device,

first make a hotspot in your projector's program.

Connect your device to the hot-spot,

and simply cast your photos or videos

onto the big screen

it's simple as that.

it's quite good but you can always connect

your full range speakers or headphones.

He is also Korean

I am also the vice president of the Students' Council

Currently I am part of the SMTP committee

and I am also the president of SSRC, which is Science Students' Research Council

I am the vice president of the GATE comm and SSRC

I join debates as well as HACAS

I am from GATE comm, and also in SSRC

and I am just a typical student from SMTP

I am passionate in Physics and Math

I love Lego

I think my biggest takeaway, and what I benefited the most from GATE would be...

I think it is... a very interesting environment if I would to say

The GATE programme has also gave me a lot of team bonding activities

to bond more with not only my classmates, but other members of the GATE community as well

If you ever feel like you shouldn't mug,

you can't do that

Basically you won't feel that

because if you are in GATE, yeah...

and erm... like the lessons are like really interesting

like you learn about the applications of Bio and things like that

You learn a lot more than curriculum, normal curriculum, but you also don't deviate too far from it,

so it is really the balance

The great teachers that you get here

If you compare with the other (normal) classes, SMTP has undoubtedly the best teachers

I have enjoyed the many enrichment sessions that we had

such as Dialogue in the Dark... yeah

and also all my friends

I feel a sense of family in the GATE community

Contrary to a lot of like, perhaps like, public perception, people in GATE are also very fun-loving

and they are not just like, muggers who are only interested in studying

They also like to have fun... they also like to explore new things

The pullout lessons, and all the opportunities I get during our Thursday electives

For those juniors that think that they may not have a chance,

or they just have the interest but not sure whether they have the ability

I strongly encourage you to just try lah, just go and try for like the test and everything...

go for the... tea session, since you are already here,

so... because some of us never expected that we will get into GATE or SMTP

...and then we got in, so we were just like, surprise :D

Even though at the start you may feel that you may not be good enough,

or like, you may be very stressful there, or you may have no friends :'(

Actually right, that's not true lah

Once you enter the GATE program, or SMTP program,

you will actually feel that there are a lot of like-minded individuals

and you will be able to make a lot of new friends,

and enhance your learning at the same time

No matter how difficult you might think SMTP is,

and whether you might be up to the challenge,

always... just take the plunge

because you will never know what it is like until you try it,

and I can assure you that all of us in SMTP this year

have greatly benefited from it, and truly enjoyed it

Erm... Nanyang SMTP is very different from what you are going to get in Hwa Chong SMTP

and part of that is that Hwa Chong SMTP is a lot more intellectually challenging

whether or not you think that is a good thing or not...

but I can say for myself, and for a lot of people around me, that

we have enjoyed it a lot

and it is part of the struggle that makes SMTP worthwhile

Most importantly, I think that the people in SMTP are very valuable (and annoying)

For those who are interested in academics,

my suggestion is that you can go and try for SMTP

but for those who want to stay like a human (unlike me who is a god)

and do, you know... whatever you want,

then maybe GATE is the right choice

If you find that you would like to have something more in your JC life,

then you should join SMTP... :)
