To make a clip louder or quieter, you'll need to adjust the volume levels.

Right click on the audio track. Find and click on "Audio Gain".

Click on "Set Gain to" and replace the 0 db with a larger number, then click OK.

To lower the volume, once again, right click on the "Audio Track", then find and click on "Audio Gain".

Click on "Set Gain to" and replace the number in the box to a negative number to lower the volume of your clip.

EDLD 611 Welcome Video - Duration: 1:51.

Hi I'm Julie Uranis And I would like to welcome you to EDLD 611

As you'll see, this course is organized by modules and all of the course content is available

to you from the very start of the semester.

While we won't be experiencing this as a self-paced course, you do have the opportunity to work

ahead as you deem necessary.

You'll also notice that my syllabus is a bit lengthy.

After every semester I refine and try to improve my instructions and provide more details about

the assignments.

After over five years teaching this course I'm confident that the syllabus, when paired

with the rubrics, will give you the information you need to excel this semester.

I am nothing if not detailed.

In terms of excelling in EDLD 611, I've had students that have scored 100% of all the

points for this entire course just as I've had students fail this course.

So EDLD is what you make of it and you can potentially reap rewards both academically

and potentially professionally if you make the effort.

I've had many students use the work that they've completed in this course in their

professional roles.

So all that being said, I am looking forward to engaging with you online.

I won't be posting many videos like this one for a few reasons that we'll actually explore

in this class as well as personal reasons...the lack of a makeup artist and a hair stylist

are but two that come to mind.
