Hey guys~

I just woke up and got out of shower

Today I'm sharing with you my current morning skincare routine

But first

Brush teeth!

A little advice, turn on your music

To begin a new happy day!

First is cleansing

I am using Kiehl's Calendula Deep Cleanser

Gonna wet my face

Pump a fair amount on the palm of your hand

Then rub your hands together

to foam the product

Whenever you use a cleanser you should foam it first

then massage it onto your face

Because the foam will cleanse deeper into your pores

I will focus on the sides of my cheeks first

Because at night when I sleep

When I turn to the sides

My face touches my hair and bed sheets

Potentially causes acne

So.. gotta cleanse~

Then I'll move on to my nose

Because my nose is pretty oily

Keeping it clean prevents me a lot of blackheads!

I really like this cleanser because

It deeply cleanses my pores

I always massage until the foam goes off

But it never dries my skin out

Instead it makes my skin feel soft and hydrated

When cleansing areas like around the nose, you should use these two fingers

Because they have the least pressure on skin

Remember not to rub your face hard

But use the palms of your hands to massage in circular motions

Now my skin feels so clean and soft~

It's not the kind of clean that dries your skin out

But the smooth one

Moving onto toner

I use this baby for toner

This is SK-II's clear lotion

I don't know why SK-II always have strange names

It's supposed to be toner but why named it lotion?

The answer is- In Asia, lotion is considered as toner but with more moisture.

I pour a fair amount onto my palm

and massage it onto my face

Using a toner helps balancing skin's pH

I once read that when you pat your face like this

You're encouraging collagen production

So... slap harder!

Press the palms into my face to help the product absorb

I always use my hands

But make sure they're clean!

Then I'm going to apply another layer of toner

I've heard of a way whereby you apply toner 7 times

But in my opinion it's too much

Normally I would take half an hour for my skincare

7 times would be an hour lol

This is SK-II's miracle water

"Facial Treatment Essence"

Miracle water because it contains a lot of antioxidants

High anti-aging

And since I use this product my skin looks clearer and firmer

Much more radiant

My skin is normal-to-dry type

Oily but dry

When my skin is dry

My forehead and my nose become very oily

My cheeks and chin become super dry, especially this part

You can see...

My skin here is really dry

So I have to use this baby

This is Innisfree's star product

And it's called

The green tea seed serum

Made from green tea

Creates a thin moisture layer on the skin

So that skin is always moisturized

and therefore absorbs other products better

I'll pump two drops

and massage onto my face

Remember to always be gentle to your skin

And as you can see I always use these two fingers

Because like I said they have least pressure

Be gentle to your skin, it will love you back ♡

Use the fingers to tap your face til the product fully absorbs

On days that I use this product

At the end of the day my skin still feels moisturized

Ever since Innisfree gave me this product

I've already used 4 bottles

Since last October

It's April now and I'm still holding this product

Means that it's good!

I also recommended this one to my friend

Her skin is oily, has acne and pretty sensitive

Cannot use products that contain too much chemicals

But when I suggested Innisfree especially this baby here

She loved it

So I think when I recommend this to you guys

If you try it out

You'll like it too!

For sure!

Next is also an Innisfree product

I've been using a lot of Innisfree

To be fair, these products are gifts from Innisfree, I didn't have to buy them

But I am reviewing wholeheartedly here

I suggest them because they are honestly good

Tbh, my morning routine has been revolving around Innisfree

And this is a lotion made from soybeans

It's called...

Soybean Firming Lotion

The soybeans contain lots of Omega-3

Helps to firm skin

Makes the skin more elastic

Reduces wrinkles

I will use this amount

and massage it onto my face

I suggest this product because, like I said before

The whether is super hot in Saigon

And if you're living in a humid city too

You should go for lotions

The lotion is more lightweight, easily absorbs into the skin

It won't clog your pores

I understand that feeling when you have to endure the sun and hot air

while having a thick layer of cream on your face

So uncomfortable

Therefore it's best to go with lotion

Tap your skin~

After applied, you can see my face is smoother and moisturized

This is for the neck

Because the soybean helps firming

And I use it for my neck because of these lines

Don't forget the neck in your skincare routine

The neck skin is as thin as the face

They easily age

You don't want your face to be pretty and then your neck is yuck

No...

Should take care of them both!

Btw, my friend told me that I use "really/very" a lot in my video lol

I just used it again

Today I try to use it less

Let's find out more at the end of this video shall we?

Moving onto the last moisturizer

I'll recommend this step for people who

have to study or work in a cold environment

or live in a cold city

Then you should use this baby

You must've seen a post that I was reviewing this

The name is Orchid Enriched Cream

Made from the orchids on Jeju island

With high moisture

It helped moisturize my skin while I was in Taipei

Everyday is 12-13 degree Celsius

My lips are actually still pretty dry

But my skin is still so alive

So I gotta thank this baby!

Also from Innisfree

Honestly Innisfree products are good

After using I can see visible results on my skin

Not like other products you just go 'nope' after awhile

But these products

They're good so I keep using

Still using now

At this point, you should spend a little time to massage your face

to help the product absorb

Because it's cream

Massages help better absorption

So that it won't clog your pores

Remember to massage in circular motions

When you spend time to do skincare

You're appreciating yourself

And you're taking good care of yourself

It promotes happier and healthier life!

I really like products with high moisture

You can see this part is more hydrated now too

Okay it's the last step now

Hold on, no, not yet~

It's the eyes now

For me, I always have to work by the computer

So my eyes are pretty exhausted time after time

That's why I just got this baby here

It's called Drops Of Youth

I really like its design

I bought this because of the design

The ball on top is for you to apply the concentrate

and then massage your eyes at the same time

I'll demonstrate ♫

Now massage it onto my eyes

I'd leave this on my desk

So that when my eyes feel tired

I'll use it to massage my eyes

Helps release stress~

The name indicates bringing youth back

Not sure if that's true though

But The Body Shop products are pretty awesome

So...

I trusted them

I honestly think this design is super smart

For people who are going to face premature aging like me

You should massage more often

to prevent premature wrinkles around the eyes

BUT!!! Be gentle to your skin always

Because when you go hard on yourself it will do otherwise

When you pull your skin

More wrinkles will be made

So be gentle

Love yourself

If you must go out I suggest for you to apply sunscreen

at least 15 minutes before

And I'm using Allie

Allie by Kanebo

with SPF 50+

Mineral Moist type

Meaning that it also moisturizes

I focus a lot on moisture in my skincare routine

When your skin is moisturized

It will prevent other skin issues

Such as acne

For sunscreen, you should use this amount

Should be equal to a coin

Because with this amount your skin is properly protected from the UV rays

Don't go easy on sunscreen

I really like this Allie because

It won't make my skin sticky

Instead it absorbs fast

Protects my skin well from the sun too

Prevents dark spots

And I also like it because

It melts evenly on my skin

And makes my skin brighter

If I don't have to put on makeup I'll leave my face like this

Or I'll draw some lipstick, some mascara and some brows

Something like this!

I'm not going anywhere today, just demonstrating for you guys

That if I don't have to put on more makeup when going out

I'll go for this look!

Moving on to the final step

Really important not everyone knows of

This is my secret

To motivate myself everyday

After taking care of your pretty face

Sonos PlayBase review: Don't overthink it! - Duration: 3:21.

- So there are two kinds of people out there.

There are those of us who own Sonos

and then there's everybody else.

I know that sounds horrible, but stay with me for a second.

Sonos is undoubtedly, hands-down,

unequivocally, absolutely the best way

to have wireless music in your house.

If you have experienced it once,

you're going to want more.

(chill beats)

so that brings us to the brand-new Sonos Playbase.

Like the Playbar sound bar before it,

it's seven hundred dollars.

That is not inexpensive.

And like the Playbar, it's meant to work with your TV.

Actually it's gonna work underneath your TV

and thus the base name.

It sits below the little pedestal feet.

So you plug in the TV via one of those optical cables

with the little red light at the end of it.

And then your TV spits its sound out through the Playbase.

And it sounds great, it's a Sonos speaker.

It's going to sound great.

And for seven hundred dollars, it better sound great.

But of course we're talking about your TV

playing along with some sort of external speaker

and that just doesn't always work as well

as you might want it to.

And then there's the matter of remote controls.

If you have a newer TV there's a pretty good chance

this will just work out of the box.

If you have an older TV like I do in the bedroom,

you might have to do a little finagling.

Your mileage very much will vary here.

The fact is, this is a Sonos speaker.

It's going to sound great.

If you've ever done Sonos before,

you know it's the easiest way to do wireless music.

And the Playbase works the same way

as any of the other Sonos speakers.

Works within the app the exact same way

and you still have access to all of your music.

So the Playbase sounds exactly as good

as you think it should being a Sonos speaker

and especially being a seven hundred dollar speaker.

It's got a lot of bass to it, the highs are good.

And if you tune it with Sonos' Trueplay thing,

which is still an iOS only setting,

it'll sound even better, it's great.

And it's still pretty thumpy even if you don't

shell out another seven hundred dollars

for the big giant sub-woofer.

It's that good.

I think it's been a little easy for people

to overthink the Playbase.

It's very much sort of like a soundbar for your TV.

You get approximated surround sound.

You get really good external sound out of your TV.

It just fits under your TV

instead of slightly in front of it like a sound bar does.

It's no different than that,

and by the way it's still a Sonos speaker

so it does wireless music.

Look at it like this.

If you have a pedestal TV,

with one little thing down the middle

and feet sticking out of it,

get a Playbase.

If you have a TV with feet on either end,

get a Playbar.

But if all you wanna do is improve the sound

out of your TV a little bit,

you can get something decent for a lot less money.

Couple hundred bucks, you'll have a nice little sound bar

and go about your business.

But that's not really what you're paying for with Sonos,

you're paying for the name,

you're paying for some really good sound,

and you're absolutely paying for easy wireless music

that works with all the other Sonos stuff

that you might or might not have.

But you really should.

Is it expensive?

Yeah, it absolutely is.

Is it worth it?

I can't quite answer that for you.

It's your money, it's your wallet.

I do know I'm gonna have kind of a hard time

opening mine up to the tune of seven hundred dollars.

But it sounds great, it looks great,

it just costs a lot of money.

The Testing of Your Faith and Endurance - Duration: 3:19.

The beginning of the letter of James contains some rather challenging statements.

For example, it describes the testing of your faith.

This is found in verses two and three where it says, "My brethren, deem it with all joy,

whenever you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith is

working endurance."

Even though the idea of our faith being tested is not a pleasant one, I am encouraged by

this verse because it does talk about how the testing of our faith does work something

positive.

It does work endurance.

And you can see the result of this endurance in verse four, "But let endurance have its

complete work, that you may be complete and whole, deficient in nothing."

Now people may wonder, what's the difference between complete and whole?

Well, I'd say, of course they're related, but there is a little bit of a difference

how they're used in the New Testament.

Whenever you look at the word that's translated as "complete," it is found dozens of times

in the New Testament and spoken of in a multitude of different ways.

Such as the idea of the mature man, as one example.

But you can look in the Sermon on the Mount in chapter five where Jesus instructs His

hearers to love their enemies.

To bless those who curse you, and so on.

And at the end of that instruction, in verse forty-eight, in chapter five of Matthew, it

talks about us being complete as our Father in the heavens is complete.

In that verse, it says, "Therefore you will be complete, just-like your Father who is

in the heavens is complete."

And in some other places, such as in the letter to the Colossians, in chapter one, verse twenty-eight

for instance, we learn that one can be complete in Christ Jesus.

And that is part of what we preach.

We preach that people can be complete in the Son of God.

In verse twenty-eight of that first chapter, "The Christ whom we are proclaiming, admonishing

every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we should present every man complete

in Christ Jesus;" But not only that, we should also pray for

our brethren, and we should have the desire that they may be complete and fulfilled in

all the will of God.

We see a good example of this in the fourth chapter of the letter to the Colossians in

verse twelve.

"Epaphras, a bondservant of Christ, who is one out of you, greets you.

He is always fighting on your behalf in his prayers, that you might stand complete and

fulfilled in all the will of God."

But what about the word for whole?

Well, that word is only found one other place in the New Testament, and that is in 1 Thessalonians,

chapter five, and verse twenty-three.

"Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you entirely, and may your whole spirit and

soul and body be kept blameless in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ."

And this idea of being kept blameless, about the fact that we are to be sanctified entirely,

these are great encouraging thoughts.

Things that we can be uplifted by, we can take strength from, knowing that we can be

complete, that we can be fulfilled in all the will of God, deficient in nothing.

And that we can be counted as children of God.
