Hey guys for Complex News, I'm Natasha Martinez.
It seems like U.S. airlines cannot catch a break these days.
From Dr. David Dao's viral removal on United to a Delta passenger being kicked off a flight
for using the bathroom, the tensions at airports seem to be getting higher and higher.
Delta airlines is in some heat again as video of a pilot hitting a female passenger surfaced
online.
On Saturday TMZ posted a shocking video that shows a Delta pilot striking a woman at the
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
It starts off with two women in a fight and ends with the pilot's less than peaceful attempt
at breaking it up.
The video was reportedly filmed on April 21 and
was immediately investigated by Delta officials.
The pilot was temporarily suspended but the airline concluded that he was not in the wrong
and only trying to deescalate an altercation.
"We became aware of this incident and a video last week and immediately removed the
pilot from duty while we completed a thorough investigation.
Local law enforcement was called to respond at the time of the incident.
The pilot has since been returned to work as our investigation found that his actions
deescalated an altercation between passengers on the jetway floor during deplaning."
None of the parties involved pressed charges.
