Ally Brooke Does ASMR with Maracas, Talks "Low Key" Video and Going Solo | Mind Massage - Duration: 6:04.

Hi everybody. I'm Ally Brooke with Fuse.

This is Mind Massage.

[brushing]

[sizzling]

[buzzing]

Shhh!

[clapboard]

I grew up in San Antonio Texas, and I'm proud of

being from there because it's a city that really embraces

our culture and our heritage

and I remember growing up with sounds of mariachi music

and violins, trumpets, maracas, and whenever I hear

certain sounds it reminds me of home.

Because when I was a young child

I used to play with these.

[maracas rattling]

Making my music video for the first time as a solo artist

has been so exhilarating for me, so liberating.

Everything from the choreography to the wardrobe changes,

to the set changes, to the location design.

One of the other things that I loved is the makeup

in the video. And I love my lip gloss.

[box rattling]

[lips popping]

I'm so excited to have my first debut single out

in the world, I worked so hard on it. It took months and months

and months to finally find that record that I felt identified

with me so strongly. Everything about the record just inspired

me, and I knew that it was mine the moment that I heard it.

It's called Low Key.

[keys jangling]

Low key, low key, you should really get to know me.

Being an artist, it's such a gift to be able

to collaborate with somebody different, other artists.

Whether they're producers, writers, singers.

It's amazing because our art is like colors.

We each bring a different color to this world.

Music makes the world vibrant, luminating.

It brings the world color.

[chalk crumbling and scraping]

[chalk tapping]

As many of you know, Valentine's Day is coming up.

The day of love. And it can be about love between you

and another person, or love for yourself, being confident.

Owning who you are. Accepting who you are.

I actually have a song that talks about that,

talks about self -love. And it's a song called perfect.

It's a song that sends a message of loving yourself

for who you are. Sometimes we may not feel

confident all the time, we may have our insecurities,

but at the end of the day, you are so uniquely and wonderfully

made, and you are, you're perfect.

I really love makeup. I can appreciate myself bare-faced

too. I love that as well. But every now and then

I love to get a good beat face.

It makes me feel good, just like music does.

[kiss]

Well, this is all the time that I have,

but thank you so much for having me.

I love being able to do a mind massage.

I hope that you feel good, relaxed, calm. Thank you.

[chair creaks]

Shhh!

How to Use a Relaxed Parent Baby Wrap with a Newborn and a Toddler - Duration: 5:59.

Hi, I'm Rachel and this video is going to show how to use a Relaxed Parent Baby wrap.

This is a very soft and thin stretchy wrap.

It's about 55 centimeters wide and it's a very comfortable and easy to use wrap.

I'm going to show you in this video how to use the stretchy wrap both with a newborn

and a toddler because the same wrap can be used with both sized children.

So to begin, you're going to locate your relaxed parent tag in the middle of your wrap.

You're going to place that right in the middle of your chest.

Holding that with one hand, reach behind you and bring the tail across your back and over

your opposite shoulder, making a diagonal across your back.

Gather this up on your shoulder.

Then do the same thing on the other side.

Bring the other tail across your back and then over your shoulder.

Now in the back, you have an X, a nice wide spread X and in the front you have a horizontal

part and two tails.

The next thing you'll do is bunch this horizontal part into a tube.

Take your two tails and pull them snug so this horizontal part is very snug.

Then reach under this horizontal part and tuck both tails through it.

To get head support for a younger baby, you can pull up on the fabric just beside your

neck to tighten a bit.

And then pull that slack through.

Now cross these two tails about at your belly button and tie a double knot in back.

And now this carrier is set up for either a baby or a toddler.

So, I'm going to start by showing you how to put a newborn sized baby in.

Take the horizontal part and push it down out of the way.

Take your hands inside of the two diagonals.

These are called cross passes.

Push them down.

This is where your baby is going to go.

You're going to hold your newborn on your shoulder as if you're going to burp them.

Take your hand under one of the diagonals and guide one foot through.

Then shift baby to the other shoulder.

Take your hand under the other diagonal and tuck that foot through.

Then you can shift your baby down into your baby's normal newborn position.

Their knees are higher than their bottom.

Their head is nice and high on your chest so you can easily kiss them.

I'm going to spread out both of these diagonals.

First I locate the one that's underneath and start with that one.

I'm going to spread that over the baby's entire back and all the way from this knee to the

other knee, covering baby's back and shoulders.

Then I'll do the same on the other side, taking the fabric from knee to knee and over baby's

back and shoulders.

Now I'm going to take a moment to make sure that the baby's face isn't covered.

I take the top edge of the fabric and pull it away so that baby's face is free.

The last thing I'll do is locate this horizontal piece that I pushed out of the way.

I'll tuck one leg under that horizontal piece and then the other.

Then I'm going to spread that up over baby's back so that my logo tag ends up centered

behind baby's neck.

This adds extra support and snugness to the carry.

You can take this bottom edge and tuck it between you a bit knee to knee.

And there's your newborn carry.

Quick and Easy!

To take the baby out, if baby's fallen asleep and you want to lay the baby down to nap,

you can push this down, spread each cross pass open and lift up.

Put baby on your shoulder, take the fabric off of their legs and you're done.

You can use this exact same carry with a toddler without changing anything.

Alright let's say you've laid your baby down, but now your toddler would like to be held.

You can use the exact same carry without retying anything to carry a toddler as well.

So what you'll do is you'll lift your toddler up on your shoulder, as if you were about

to burp your toddler and then take one hand under the pass, taking one leg through.

Lift baby to the other side, and take the other leg through.

Now you can seat your toddler on the diagonal passes.

And then we'll find the top edge of the fabric and spread it all the way out from knee to

knee.

This is where the extra width of this wrap is nice because it spreads nicely across a

toddler's body all the way from knee to knee.

Spread out the other one, making sure again that this fabric is spreading over his back

and all the way from the bend of one knee to the bend of the other knee, giving him

a lot of nice support.

Now I'm going to locate the horizontal part that I pushed out of the way and tuck each

foot under it one at a time.

First this one, then that one.

There we go.

Now I'll spread the fabric up over his back and make sure its between us.

And there you have a snuggly toddler carry and I didn't change a single thing about it.

So the same exact wrap can be used for a newborn and a toddler.

If you'd like to get your self a Relaxed Parent Baby Wrap, there's a link in the description.

Thanks!

Happy babywearing!
