We created Pirate Pumpkin for Pumpkin Festival 2018, Budapest | In 360 with English subtitles - Duration: 5:53.
Hey guys, it's Gaba VR, and this time I'm on the most famous square in Budapest, on the Heroes' Square.
As Halloween is coming we're attending a small Halloween festival here.
It will be a pumpkin festival after dark,
and I'm very excited about the pumpkins that people created and bring here.
Edina is also arriving soon, and she is also carving a pumpkin herself, so I'm very curious, how it will look like.
And of course, you can look around at this event and check out other Jack-o'-lanterns, too.
At Edina's secret headquarter she is putting finishing touches on the pumpkin,
while around 7 pm, people are arriving to the Heroes' Square,
and putting their own Halloween pumpkins on the base of the statues.
They are taking photos of Edina, while she is lighting Pirate Pumpkin.
- Wow!
We've just put Edina's Pirate Pumpkin on a random spot, and it seems to be very popular.
Everyone is taking pictures of it. Children and adults come and visit it.
The festival just started now and it's already a hit!
Watching it from a fair distance,
we proudly observe how young and old people come to Edina's monocular Jack-o'-lantern.
- What's inside? - Inside?
- Candles - Candles!
Edina's pumpkin lantern is very popular among kids.
I haven't imagined that it would be such a hit.
But as a Pirate Pumpkin, it's kinda obvious…

Wow, check it out!
It can be more than thousand creators here,
and the ones who arrived earlier could put their artwork to the higher spots, under the sculptures.
It's nice to see how families are lighting up the candles together, bringing their lanterns to life.
And there's a great atmosphere among the visitors too, while walking around this spontaneous exhibition.
- Oh...
- Oh, damn it!
- The candles fell over. - Yeah...
Well, never mind, because the wick is burned down, anyway.
- It will go out soon...
But we don't give it up, and with a creative idea we revive the lantern.
In the same time we move it to a more prestigious exhibition spot from the ground.
And I will show you the secret of the new light later.
- This is it!
Edina, the proud owner and creator!

- Pirate! - Pirate!
While we found a new exhibition spot, there are brand new Jack-o'-lanterns appearing on the square,
growing out of the ground.
In the meantime, pumpkins are lining up by the statues too, carved with traditional and less common patterns.
Despite it's almost 9 pm, visitors keep coming,
although the festival will end soon…
As the crowd is getting smaller and we can get closer to Edina's creation,
we take the opportunity to take a photo of it under these sculptures.
And then we slowly leave the scene to find a new home to the pumpkin after the festival.
- Edina is decamping!
- And here is the hit of the day!
- Pirate Pumpkin! - Pirate Pumpkin!
- And it's so heavy!
- Well, we're here at the car, and now I reveal the secret,
that after we ran out of candles,
we used a power bank.
The power bank powered the pumpkin!
- The piracy!
- But it was a big hit! - Very heavy!
Yeah!
- So we take it to Edina's hair salon.
- And we've bring it to Edina's salon!
