All right, what is up guys my name is Ryan and I run an eBay dropshipping store
I'm looking for positive hardworking
and
Ambitious passionate people that are willing to work for me and to help build my store
and in this video it's going to be a training video on how to become a product Lister and
One thing about eBay is that eBay doesn't stack listings like Amazon
It's all about ranking. For Amazon,
whoever has the cheapest price is in the buy box, which is the price you see when you look up something on Amazon
Ebay does not do that
Ebay puts the best search result at the top
It's not always the cheapest but it is mainly the one with the best titles and keywords
In this training video. I'm going to show you how to find high demand
low supply keywords or high search volume low competition keywords and
the research techniques to find the most profitable keywords to put into the title.
I'm gonna show you how to find great keywords and to create your title at the end of this video. I will be
giving a
Assignment that you must complete within 24 hours
First off you want to download Google Chrome and use the Google Chrome browser.
If you don't have one we do most of our tests and
processes through Google Chrome as it is a very
simplified and efficient
browser to do business tasks, so get Google Chrome and
also, you want to go to chrome webstore and
Log in with a specific, I'm gonna give you information on how to log in but this is essentially a paid
Chrome extension and
Since I'm gonna give you access to this all you do is you go in and add to Chrome
it's gonna be added to your chrome app and
This ebay keywords chrome extinction
What it does is it uses this specific thing right here that shows the data that we need to find our keywords within
Merchants words which is right here. And also I'm gonna give you access to
the
program with merchant words, so these two
Software and extensions will only be available for 24 hours
Because that is how long the assignment is due. After that, you will not have any access to these
software anymore
so
For finding keywords, all we really need is this is eBay Keywords Chrome extension and this
keyword software.
Now before you begin this
assignment or understand the principles in this video
You want to be in a comfortable workspace we can sound and not have to worry about any distractions
Being a nice place you can focus on these tasks and get them knocked out
There's no shortcut to this. It is a process
You will get better at it, but don't get upset
If your first couple of listings you make you try and it takes you know, 30 minutes 40 minutes one hour
It was just like that for me. I went through the exact same experience
But you got to be patient. You got to learn this as a skill and
You will become a better and faster product Lister through time
We are looking for
happy positive hardworking individuals that know what it takes and love to grind because this will be the
Best opportunity for you. The better that you are at listings, the faster you put up
quality listings, and the more quality listings you can put up, the more money you can make
So now we're going to get into creating the title
and
The title contains 80 characters.
The first key word phrase should fully explain the item. You also don't want fully you
You want to try and max out the title to its full extent to 80 characters
So what we're gonna do now is we're gonna find an item or I'm going to show you an item
to add
And we use this item to create a title
All right, so we found an item right here all right
Now this is a
Million six to sixteen foot extendable tree pruner pole saw three-sided blade. I
Might have already given them to set this out. So I might use a different one. Let's try this
Alright FoodSaver vacuum sealing this can work. Alright. So now what we're gonna do is we are going to
Find keywords
All right, so now the first
again, the first three to four keywords should fully explain the item and
So what we can find
Keyword ideas or keywords that we're gonna plug in because we're gonna filter through all of our keyword ideas into this
Search bar
And we are gonna find
Keywords that fit our criteria and what do I mean by criteria? Um
Loads, I will show you
All right, so this is merchant words this is the Chrome extension that should be working and
Basically we are looking for great
keywords
That are more than 1,000.
More than 1,000.
search volume and
Less than1,000 eBay results, okay
So more than 1,000
Less than 1,000
The higher the search volume the lower the results the lower the ratio will be so the lower the ratio the better
Only want to stick to this above 1,000 for search volume.
Less than 1,000 for eBay results. Okay, if you go below 300 that's
Automatically a good keyword or below thousand is consisted of good if you're above 3000
For your search volume that is considered good keyword. If you're below that it's kind of too much. So
Alright, let's actually find a keyword for this
So first off we want to find out and we want to understand exactly what item we are
Listing because we want to make sure that we can find the best
keywords possible so we see that this is a vacuum sealer a food
saver or food sealer
So keyword ideas how to find the keywords fast, you can use the categories and you can find that right here
Right here. So it's called a food processing food processor. You know that might work just type in the food
Processor is relevant
To the item. IMPORTANT - one thing to know when you are looking for keywords in this
Merchant Words, you always want to stick to the most relevant and accurate keywords
for example, if you're trying to sell a
60-inch table and
You found a keyword that has great results and it's a 40 inch table that
keyword won't
Work well is not actually 40 inches. It's 60 inches
So you have to understand that
That keyword might have good results, but it is not relevant and is not accurate to that item
so you have to move on and find a better keyword, its the name of the game.
Yeah food processor. This is not
ideal
Yeah
And also a great tool that I use is title builder
What I could I don't really use Titlebuilder all the time
but what it does is it basically helps me find words that I wouldn't have thought of at first, so any
Words, might have passed over my head
Well, as people are searching for that. I can try that and put that in merchants words. So we need to start
cooking up some keywords (ignore the noise!)
This looks good, but that's not really the word that we're looking for
Meal sealer? Let's try that
And this process I'm showing to you guys it
It's gonna be a lot more slower because I am explaining this in a easily digestible format
Of course with through time and through experience and you understand this process, you will become a better lister.
Once you learn this stuff, this becomes fast and really easy
So
Alright, let's find out or keyword ideas.
For Keyword Ideas, you can use title builder you can also scroll down and find out what category your item is in.
and you can
find the seed keyword. The seed keyword is normally the
or the the actual identifier like
What is this? This is a food sealer.
okay, the food sealer is considered the seed keyword and you would put it up here.
Here as well. So you could find best keywords. Now. We're not really having luck finding keywords with this item. So I'm gonna
Go and find a different item and
Alright so this looks good 24-inch oscillating wall mount fan. Alright, we're gonna use this
So now let's find out what this is. This is a looks like shop fan, a work fan
So a ventilation fan, okay
So now let's start, lets get our notepad ready.
Let's go alright, so
And for a fan so
different I
Want to stop this for a second and show you ways to find good keywords with merchant words
And then it takes time, but I'll show you how so
of course the best way to find keywords that you can plug into merchant words is going to be in the source description and
bullet points
so right here and right here is where you're gonna find keywords that you can to find the keywords that
You can put it here. So
Durable durable
torque fan
metal fan
power fan
work fan shop fan
3-speed fan
24 inch fan, oscillating fan, wall mount fan, like all of these are different keywords that you can plug into here and
Spit out from here to the list and the it's a it's a process that has been working
for us and its amazing!
Yeah, so when we are finding keywords that we can put into our title
I'll be asking questions. So
questions to ask when finding
keywords
What is the seed key word is one of them and of course it's a
wall shop fan
When is it used
Um
for this
question can be answered with
Different products but I don't think there really is a win or a time factor for this product
So obviously we can move on but where is it used is it used indoor?
outdoor
backyard or in a room setting
So this is it looks like it is an indoor fan so we can type in "indoor fan" and check out
If we could find a good keyword
All right, this is taking a little bit longer
All right
Fans for indoor
Indoor exhaust fan, you know, I'm gonna try this fan for indoor
so now once you
found a great
Keyword, this is considered a good keyword
Above 3000 or above 1,000, less than 1,000. So now we're going to do is we're gonna cross-check
competition
through eBay and
How we do this is
Basically copy the
keyword into eBay search and
we
Look at the first 25 results. So make sure that when you scroll down
It is listing 25 items per page. So
We found the keyword is that that has great data and we're gonna plug it into here now
We have all the results displaying here now
this is the most important part now look at the item and analyze look at the item and
Recognize what it looks like now. We want to make sure that we don't find this exact item in these results
but
so
We are looking and we do not find it. All right, so this is our first keyword
And we can put that right
Down here
So, where is it used outdoor indoor backyard room could vary by different products but a
Great identifier is to find out the location and where this product is
Specifically at so this is also a wall fan
So let's try wall fare
All right wall-mounted fan that looks
walnut also wolf
All right. This looks pretty good. Actually right here wall-mounted fan. Let's start that out
so again we go and we paste and now we check so
again, look did om fan and
Make sure that we don't see
The same item in that
Search
Now the key about finding a good title is that we don't want any
competition with any of our products so
if we find a
Seller that is selling the exact like for example
Let's say that this is our item that we are selling if someone is selling this exact item, let's move on to different one
Yeah, so if we have this exact same fan and we want to sell it at
290 ok, and someone is selling this cheaper than us
We either have to be cheaper than them which most of the time we can't because it affects our margin
So if for example we find an item that is the same as this which means that this keyword has competition
We cannot use this keyword and we basically forget about it and we move on to the next one
So you only want to fill up this list of five to eight solid keywords with high search
Low results
Again now more ideas on how to find keywords
You also want to know the size is it a large fan is it a small fan
Is it a tall fan or is it slim?
it's
and it mount
It is it a thick is it fixed or is it adjustable adjustable height adjustable position?
Also the location of the fan or can it be?
you know, obviously
Indoor/outdoor can be in the shop or garage basement
Bedroom
Or kitchen
Stuff like that. So for this example, we can try shop fan
Let's see what we got
Also, this looks like a fan that can be used in a warehouse, so let's try that out
Oh, look at this. Now. These are the key words out that are the gold ones high search volume low results
So now we're going to try this shop fan
Alright
Oh, here we go no 137
It's just this out real quick
All right, we're actually selling this fan for a 179
We're selling it for 179
For example and we found someone that actually has
the same fan as we do but they're more expensive
meaning that we can undercut the seller and be cheaper than them and this would be a great keyword and
it
Is a great keyword. So now we are going to use this definitely
Put this up here. Oops
I can also use this one right here shop fan heavy duty
And also, yeah
All right
Sweet no competition good keyword. Look at that
It's a lot
and
You also want to organize each of the keywords by
Search volume to make it more easier
alright
So now let's type in
Location so location of where its at can be the garage basement. Let's try warehouse
warehouse fan ooh
Nice this is a perfect one warehouse fan 73,000 -
Let's check it out
And we are good, so no competition
Going right here
Now I think we need a little bit more keywords
So if you do not have enough keywords to fill up your title, you want to go back to Merchant Words and be more creative and find more!
Or as simple as that you probably didn't find long enough keywords
So the best bet is to go back and find some more so let's try garage fan
Garage fan awesome this oh wait garage ventilation fan
Yes is considered
Ventilation fan by the category. So yes, we can use this
Now first we got a check
Competition
All right, and we pretty much got this awesome
It's got a couple more and then
We're going to put the title together and then I'm going to go through a couple more examples (false)
this and then
Sorry for that and then after I show you how to create the titles I
will be giving you an assignment that will show you how
To make your own titles. Well, I'm showing you how to make the titles. I'm gonna give you the
items to make your own titles with and
Yeah, so let's continue this so let's try oscillating fan
So to finish off with questions to ask when finding keywords
Location is important. Also the function or the purpose is important
Heavy duty works if it's like a big outdoor equipment or other features
Books as it electric, is it portable or cordless?
Gas-powered
Etc like things like this. It's like a feature like identifiers of
that product that you can put it in
Also the shape and even including the item specifics
Height and the weight
You can get like
You can search when you when you search for a height of weight of a product like 20-inch table
You can try "20 inch" you can try to
"20in" or "20"
But without that so 20 table same thing
So, yeah this pretty much wraps up how the keywords yep need to fine with this
of course through time you're gonna find better keywords and
I will be at your side to help critique you
and better keywords
Yeah, let's get some more keywords into here and finish this title
and then I'm gonna go through a couple more examples and then give you the assignments so
Let's go over here
Quiet this is considered quiet. So if you are if you find a keyword that that looks good
And you want to use or you want to consider using it in the title?
you always want to check with the source to make sure that it is accurate and relevant and this I've really
Stretched this you want to make sure it is 100%
accurate and relevant to the product you want you don't want to have a
Different product identifier or an incorrect keyword so I don't think there is a remote with this
Is there no?
So you use the ctrl F feature which helps find keywords more faster
So this one right here fan oscillating quiet. I
Want to make sure you know quiet is actually used in
It's not so so that doesn't everything doesn't matter
What's the size of this fan 24, okay, so 24 fan
Mmm-hmm. This isn't a floor fan
This is an oscillating fan, this is a ventilation fan. So let's try this one real quick
You might see this one
All right, so this is a good keyword and we put it over here, all right so now
What we have done is we found a bunch of keywords
You found a bunch of keywords that we are now gonna put into our titles so
An eBay title is
Approximately 80 characters
and you want to do the best of your abilities to fill up those 80 characters and
Then with these keywords, okay, and how we put the keywords in is obviously this is how it works
Well, actually before I get into this I want to go into a very important next part so you
Want to make sure that your first keyword in your title again
I stressed about this the first three to four keywords in your title or the first keyword phrase in your title is the most important
As it is the one
that is the most that has the most SEO basically, so the first keyword phrase should always be
either the highest search volume or the lowest exact match result
Keyword, and what do I mean by exact match?
search
Basically, what you want to do is the top three keywords that you found
You want to copy em and you want to wrap quotes around them
like this, so you want to put quotes around the keyword and you want to
Find out how many exact match keyword results are there. So we found out the
574 best match
Results now we found 172
Exact match results. Yeah
Now we do the same with the second keyword
and
Now we are going to do the same with a third keyword. Whoops
Now do we know which one which keywords are the best ones to use
Because now we see that this one is oversaturated. So is this one you want and this one is perfect. So
With exact match results
Anything that is 100 to 200 or plus
Results
is
Saturated
Do not
Use as your first keyword
But anything between 0 to 100 results is
Great
Use as first keyword, so
We are gonna eat right the first keyword in the title is always gonna be the one with the lowest exact match results
so it's gonna be like this we're gonna put in a warehouse fan and then we're gonna put shop fan and then we're going to
put wall-mounted fan and then the rest so
Called letter count which calculates how many we need
So now we're going to put in
All the keywords that we found
Perfect this come this is a perfect. All right. So now we have our entire title right here. Okay
Now the best way to do this obviously is to delete all duplicate keywords
okay, I want to make sure that there's no
repetitive keywords in here I pretty much did that but
honestly, the best way to create your title is to obviously start with this one so I put in
warehouse fan
Followed by shop fan is already duplicated
And then after that I put in wall-mounted fan
And then heavy duty and
then garage ventilation
And then I put 24" and then for indoor
now you don't want to capitalize any filler words like 4 or
Yeah, any filler words that are not like nouns
Do not capitalized leave them under capitalized and every first word of every letter
Has to be capitalized. This is a professional look and this is how
You get the most SC out of your title. But yes, this is our first title that we did for this
You
