If you are attending a Michigan public college or university and you're ready

to use your MET contract you're going to need to activate your contract. To do

that you're going to need to use the contract login button off our home

screen. And then you're going to need to log into the contract while using the

beneficiary's username and password. When you log into your contract the first

thing that's gonna pop up is going to be your address. You just need to verify

that the address is correct or you'll need to update it with your new

information. When you activate your contract you're going to need to do this

for each of your contracts, but if you only want to do one at a time select the

oldest one first. And then you're going to see your contract information. And at the

top you're gonna have different buttons you can choose. We're going to choose the

benefits information button. The top portion is going to tell you all about

your contract and then below they're gonna have some useful links. You can see

there's a lot of different links and things that you can do with a contract.

But for today, we're going to use the notice to use the educational benefits link.

And it's very easy to get this contract activated. We're just going to need your

email address and then you're going to need to choose the academic year and semester

that you want to start using your benefits. Once you've selected that

you're going to choose which school you are attending and then hit submit. And your

contract is now going to be activated. And we'll tell the school that the funds

are available, so that the school can send us a bill.
