Hi! It's Jen and Tammy here to talk to you about the Panasonic 360 Freestyle
Iron. I love this iron! I love this iron for so many reasons.
It's cordless, it steams, it travels beautifully. Tammy: Look at its cute carrying case!
Jen: It's adorable and it's red! But, there's other features. Tammy: There are other features. Jen: If it's red I usually like
it anyway, I just buy it! But I can't tell you how many times at retreat I can't --
my iron that I brought there isn't an outlet close enough
without, you know, you're usually in old buildings,
sometimes cabins. There's limited outlets and this is like a
dream. Tammy: I love this iron. Jen: Because I can be away from the base for a period of time --
Tammy: Correct. Jen: -- able to do my iron and then go back.
So show us more about it. You've been using it more lately than I have.
Tammy: I have been using it in the sewing room and we love this. So it's got this cute little carrying case so
I'm gonna just take this off. This little iron,
look how handy this is. It's got a double soleplate, so your soleplate has got a
double feature here which is unlike normal irons have a flat base. This
isn't it's pointed on both sides. So let's plug it in and I'm just gonna -- the cord
retracts into the base which is so nice. We're gonna go ahead and plug it in here.
Jen: Now while she's doing that I wanted
to point out the bottom. This is a ceramic soleplate, and I know that when
they're not ceramic it's easier for them to get gummed up and gooed up. This
makes it very easy to clean, too. Tammy: It does. Jen: So I just, there's a lot of features
about it. To me it's that kind of -- when I'm ironing something long, I always
find myself having to go here and then turn the iron around -- Tammy: Because your cord grabs
you the cord's always grabbing and catching on stuff. Jen: Especially when I'm doing binding and I'm
too far away from and I'm just at the maximum length -- Tammy: Of your cord.
Jen: So show us okay how -- you're gonna take this. Tammy: I'm gonna take it off here and it's
already steaming for me. All right, so I'm gonna press a strip
set out and it just is so nice because that double soleplate, you're catching
that seam and it's pressing that seam exactly like I want it.
You see that? Look how I could just turn this all the way around
and I still have a point at this end to steam with. It doesn't matter which end
I'm at. Jen: Yeah and you almost don't even really need to turn it around you
can probably just switch your hand right? Tammy: Exactly!
Yeah, yeah, if you're left-handed! Isn't that cool? Jen: I think the other thing
that I noticed about this iron is the one I have at home is so heavy.
Tammy: This one's got a little bit of weight to it but it's not so heavy that it tires your
arm out using it for a long period of time. Jen: It's just smaller.
Wow. It's just fun to use. Tammy: It is fun to use. Jen: And I love the traveling aspect of it.
I could see -- I could see this being -- and then just slip it back in. Tammy: Yeah, right
back in the cradle, and it immediately remembers it's charging now so now it's
heating on high, which is where I had it set. Jen: I don't know if you can see that. It lights up to let you
know it's in the cradle, you go get your next pieces together, it's
reheating, so. Tammy: To fill it with water, it has a little release right here. This
releases and this slides right off like this and then you just fill it with
water right here, slide it back on, and you're done.
Jen: Fantastic! Tammy: I love this iron. Jen: This is just a great iron to have obviously at
home and to travel with it's ideal. Tammy: It is ideal. Jen: And Panasonic, of course,
they have an exceptional quality, their name -- their reputation speaks
for itself, so that way this is definitely an appliance that I think
I'm gonna add to my sewing room, and certainly when we go to retreat next. Tammy: We're taking
one! Jen: Yep! Thank You Tammy! Tammy: You're welcome. Jen: We'll see you next time.
Jen: Hi it's J-- Tammy: Do it. Jen: It just seems like it irons everything so flat what is that?
Jen: Why is that so different than other ones I've used before?
Jen: And it's cute, there you go. It's cute.
That's always a good bonus.
