Weekly Planetary Astrology Forecast April 3 9, 2017 - Duration: 6:19.

Weekly Planetary Astrology Forecast April 3-9, 2017

April 3-9, 2017 Communicator mercury backslides into? methodical Taurus this week. Mercury

is gaining mainstream recognition for good reason. With just a little observation, you

cant help notice the communication snafus that happen when ruler of communication Mercury,

retrogrades.

Retrogrades are good for all the re words. Redo, refocus, reinforce, relinquish, remove,

recover, reorganize, reinstate. Use your imagination. There are so many re words to choose

from. Its a great guide line for what to do when a planet is retrograde.

Mercury will be retrograde from April 9-May 3. Its not a time to move forward, but

to re-evaluate where youre at now and where you are coming from. Sometimes you will pick

up where you left off, and that can have to do with relationships too, people tend to

reconnect during retrogrades.

Are you where you want to be in life? Mercury in Taurus wants to know, Have you created

a stable secure base for your activities?

This Wednesday Saturn will turn Retrograde too. Saturn is in the honest expansive energy

of Sagittarius, busy exposing the lies and injustice of the world, forcing responsibility.

Backtracking, it gives you a chance to see to see if you finished what you started.

Are your beliefs supporting your growth and expansion? If not, toss em. Stay in integrity.

You dont need credentials for that. Memes are thought virus we pick up. Make sure you

drop the ideas that are not yours to begin with.

Saturn will retrograde until August Allowing you to completely review areas of your life

relating to education, philosophy, freedom, truth, and all that is right and good.

Your intuition is your guide now- always really- but now you just might see the importance

of new information, something you may have disregarded in the last 6 months or so.

With Mercury traveling through Taurus our minds are particularly focused on maintaining

things as they should be. Stubbornly clinging to what one has rather than take any sort

of real risk is a common Taurus trait.

Stable, solid, plodding, Taurus Mercury? in retrograde slows us down, way down. So we

can take stock with a sense of stability and permanence.

Watch for tendency to dig your heals in and refuse any sort of change. When in resistance

remind yourself, Change is the only thing that can be counted on.

Standing your ground may be what needs doing. Try not to alienate

people with your refusal to negotiate. Or maybe do, it depends on what is right for

you. Sometimes relationships are better done than tolerated. Youll figure that out.

Mercury in Taurus gives you a nose for pleasure. Taurus is ruled by Venus and loves to indulge

all the senses. Be in the moment and find what brings contentment. May it be simple

and sweet.

Wednesday Planet of action Mars, and ever evolving Pluto have a potent pow wow. This

should feel like power. Power to make a difference. We can drop any remaining victim roles we

play and do what we know is true. Things can really shift once we get on board with the

fast changes taking place.

Friday the Sun and Jupiter have totally different agendas. The sun wants to do its

own thing. Jupiter wants everyone to get the big Picture. The sun is in Aries, Jupiter

is in Libra, Aries natural opposite, Its like a tug of war. Luckily both planets are

into expanding and being all you can be. So they want similar things.

As with all opposition energy it feels like it has to be either/or, but in reality it

needs to be this and that. Stress causes growth.

Saturday planet of what we value Venus,is locking horns with Mr. get real-Saturn believes

in long term value, leaving a legacy, building wealth.

Venus can be more indulgent while it is backtracking through Pisces, shimmery pleasures. It will

go forward again on April 15. It wants glamour and other worlds. Beware of a tendency to

escape. There is a fine line between an addict and an artist- often a blurry line.

Keep your feet firmly planted and open your heart and mind to all the possibilities. Serious

art with long term value can be created by such stress. Self expression needs to happen.

What are you holding back?

Sunday the ninth Mercury is down for the count. Three weeks of clever tricks. In Taurus until

the 20th, you will be able to have a very steady mind when it moves to Aries on

the 20th watch the way your thoughts and communications shift pace. Suddenly you will find yourself

impatient, itching for new adventures. Review the circumstances carefully Wait until

it goes direct May first to make any big changes.

A busy week of shifts for sure. Best to roll with all the changes, Think of you but also

think of whats best for everyone. Win/win is the only way

to go. Be Bold. Lead from the heart.

Massimo Bottura and Dominique Crenn on Australia's food future - Duration: 2:01.

You know where I love to dine?

I love to be in places where my friends are cooking for me,

You know, since I don't have my mum anymore,

You know, that she is cooking for her child,

I love to be in places where my friends are not showing me how great they are,

or technique or something like that,

but they are cooking food with their heart,

you know, that's beautiful,

that makes you feel home, even if you are on the other side of the world

You know, Australia has to be careful on growing too fast

because, you know, you have great chefs,

you have incredible products,

but growing, you have to grow very slow

and build a cuisine that is going to stay forever

not something that is going to be trendy

you know this is a different approach

and I think you have the numbers and the opportunity to do that

I agree with Massimo I think

people have a tendency to grow too fast

You know I always say that food is the core of a society

so anywhere you go, the food needs to be

reflective of where you are exactly

and the culture of that is breathing

so if I'm a Gourmet Traveller

I will go to those places and try to understand

who those people and who that country is,

and I will call myself a Gourmet Traveller

It doesn't mean that you are going to have to go to

you know, expensive restaurants

or even any trendy restaurant either

it's trying to find a place that speaks to you

as where you are at the time, so that's what I feel.

Republicans Are About To Sell Your Browser History. Here's How To Protect Yourself. - politics - Duration: 9:05.

Republicans Are About To Sell Your Browser History. Heres How To Protect Yourself.

Comcast has done the impossible. Somehow, Americans are about to hate it (and just about

every other large internet service provider in the country) more than they already do.

Thanks in no small part to the efforts of those ISPs, the House of Representatives passed

a bill Tuesday that would allow internet and telecom companies to share customers personal

information, including web browsing history, without their consent.

Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), who introduced the legislation in the House, has received

$693,000 from the internet and telecom industry over the course of her 14-year political career,

including $77,000 from Comcast, $98,600 from Verizon, and $104,000 from AT&T. While were

on the subject, heres a complete list of every politician who voted for Tuesdays

bill, and how much the telecom industry gave them in their most recent election cycle.

Yeah.

Unfortunately, you cant just go and drop your ISP for one that will protect your data,

since many of them are local monopolies and you dont have a choice.

ISPs are in a position to see a lot of what you do online. They kind of have to be,

since they have to carry all of your traffic, Jeremy Guillula, a senior staff technologist

at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a nonprofit that advocates for internet privacy, said

in a statement to The Huffington Post.

Thats different than the rest of the internet, where if I dont like the practices of

Google, I can go to Bing; if I dont like the practices of Bing, I can go to Firefox,

former Federal Communications Commission Chairman Tom Wheeler told HuffPost on Monday. But

if I dont like the practice of my network provider, Im out of luck.

The bill has now passed in both the House and the Senate, with Republicans almost unanimously

in favor and Democrats mostly opposed. President Donald Trump has said he strongly supports

the measure, meaning a veto is unlikely.

So, in the very likely event that this becomes law, heres what you can do to protect your

privacy:

Get A Virtual Private Network

A virtual private network guards your web traffic by encrypting it as it flows from

your device, through your ISP, and to a private server, which then directs you to your ultimate

internet destination. Theyre extremely common in the corporate world as a way to

shield sensitive data when, say, an employee logs on to the free Wi-Fi at Starbucks to

do some work.

Unfortunately, VPNs arent exactly a silver bullet, says Jake Laperruque, senior counsel

at the Constitution Project, a bipartisan think tank focused on public safety, privacy

and government accountability.

While VPNs protect users from ISP snooping, theres nothing regulating the VPNs themselves.

And that matters, since youre effectively letting your VPN handle all the data that

would otherwise be available to your ISP. So be sure to find a VPN that both encrypts

your data and explicitly says it wont collect it.

Its important to do research and make sure the VPN you use has clear terms guaranteeing

it wont collect your data, Laperruque told HuffPost in an email. Unfortunately,

more reliable VPNs tend to require payment, so Internet users will now face a cost to

preserving privacy.

Laperruque noted that VPNs also wont protect users from tracking software, or potentially

innovative new types of cookies that are more effective. (More information on

that here.)

You can expect to pay around $5 a month for an honest, reliable VPN. Alternatively, Ars

Technica has an excellent explanation of how ? and why ? you might want to just build your

own if youre technically inclined.

Use TOR

No, not the Norse god with the similar name and the big hammer. TOR, which stands for

The Onion Router (really), is an all-in-one anonymous browsing beast.

TOR disguises your web traffic by mixing it up with everyone elses, bouncing data around

via a relay of volunteer-run servers all over the world. Its extremely effective at anonymizing

people, but all that bouncing comes at a cost: Its also pretty slow.

Tor is an excellent resource for private browsing but there are a few caveats to note,

Laperruque says. Its slower so things like streaming video are very hard... and

you need to be in the Tor browser, so things like outside messaging apps... that default

to a different browser arent protected. On the upside, unlike many VPNs, Tor is totally

free.

Make Some Noise

Instead of hiding from your ISP, feed it lies.

A handy new website called Internet Noise, courtesy of the programmer Dan Schultz, will

drown your web history by constantly conducting random Google searches on the side. Your browsing

data isnt worth much to advertisers if they cant figure out what it means.

In the 15 or so seconds HuffPost had the tool activated, it searched for spearfishing, spy

sad (whatever that means), and horse news. Yee haw! Schultz told Wired he Googled

top 4,000 nouns and used the results to figure out what sort of noise would be...

er, noisiest.

Schultz warns that his tool does not make you safe and is intended mostly as a

form of digital protest.

Encryption Is Your Friend

Remember the early days of the internet, when every web address started with http://?

They still do, actually (though modern browsers rarely display it), but these days a more

secure version has started to take its place: HTTPS. Its basically the same thing as

its predecessor, just encrypted. And given the choice, encrypted is always better from

a security standpoint.

When you visit a website that uses HTTPS, your ISP can see ? and track ? the website

you visited, but it cant see the individual pages. (If youre using Chrome or Firefox,

sites that use HTTPS are denoted with a little green lock icon to the left of the address

bar.)

HTTPS is something that every internet user should be on the lookout for whenever

theyre on a site that might request sensitive data, Laperruque said. Its a critical

protection against malicious hackers.

However, HTTPS will only provide limited help in terms of ISP tracking, he went

on. On these sites [ISPs] cant track what you visit within a site, but they can

see the base domain you visited, which can be very sensitive (for example a site for

an abortion clinic, drug addiction resources, or political donations).

Not every website has HTTPS, or even automatically serves it by default if it does. But thanks

to a handy browser plug-in from the Electronic Frontier Foundation, you can force sites to

provide HTTPS when possible.

HTTPS Everywhere is available for Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Android. Its currently

in beta, so expect some hiccups.

Be A Sellout

If a corporation can sell your browsing history (and corporations are people, my friend),

why not cut out the middleman and just sell your own data?

Petter Rudwall, a creative director at the Swedish public relations agency Wenderfalck,

recently attempted to do just that. If my browser history is becoming a commodity,

he told HuffPost, why shouldnt I benefit from it?

Rudwall listed his browser history on eBay earlier this week, writing in the description:

The money will go to me, instead of a large ISP (Ill make good use of it, promise).

My browser history will be delivered in a nice email or as a glossy 3.5 floppy disk.

Your choice!

Unsurprisingly, eBay pulled the listing soon after, forcing Rudwall to put it on Craigslist

instead.

This makes the story even more interesting, since Ebay wont let me sell something that

is mine, i.e. my browser history, but soon my ISP will be able to do it, he told HuffPost.

Ive sent an email to Ebay regarding this, and asked them to clarify.

Dominique Crenn: "Cooking is an act of activism" - Duration: 0:54.

Hi I'm Dominique Crenn

I live in San Francisco, beautiful California

I have two restaurants, almost three in the next few months

Atelier Crenn, Petite Crenn and Bar Crenn

For me food is a language and cooking is an act

of activism

and so what comes with that comes with a lot of responsibility

and if together we can bring that conciousness to the world

and to people that are in our industry

I think It's the best that we can do

We have that responsibility to give back, you know

We're not just, you know, I mean

When you say rock star and all that

that's you know, that's BS

We have that responsibility to go out there and to do things

We have a platform and I think it's important to give back.

What's Stopping You From Succeeding? - Duration: 2:41.

If I told you that right now you have enough,

you're good enough. you're smart enough

and you have enough resources to

get to the next level at anything you want

to do... would you believe me?

You should!

That's the topic of today's Motivational

Firewood™ video. Here we go.

Welcome back to the Motivational Firewood™

YouTube Channel, Steve Gamlin here.

Today we're talking about being good enough.

I guarantee you no matter where you are in

life, there is somebody out there kicking

butt and achieving way more than you are

with only half the resources. There are

people in Third World nations right now,

little kids, banging on buckets with

sticks that are way better drummers than

I am. And I've got a full kit right over there.

People are doing more with less, so

please: if what is stopping you right now

is saying "I'm not good enough, I'm not

smart enough, I'm not attractive enough,

I'm not talented enough, I'm not tall

enough, I'm not thin enough, whatever...

Cut the crap, stop the excuses, put your head

down, work hard. If you're not sure where

to go next...YouTube and Google, great

resources. Find an expert out there

somewhere, go to the bookstore, read a

book (you only have to pay for it if it goes

out the door). Go for it! Do some research.

YouTube? Man I've learned so many things

on YouTube including how to set up this

recording studio. Now I'm not sitting in

a mega thousand dollars facility here

that is $75.00 worth of

barn board behind me. I've got red lights

on either side of me, lighting up the back

wall, and the lights are being held on by

paint stirrers and duct tape.

You got this. Think of one of your goals. Think of

something that you've been hesitant to

go after, thinking that you're not good

enough, you don't have enough, you're not

smart enough, whatever the 'not enough'

might be. Find your next step. Remember

there's somebody out there doing a hell

of a lot more, with a hell of a lot less.

Work with what you've got.

Here comes the helicopter...

Yup, couldn't afford the real helicopter.

Do more with less. Come on kick some butt!

Until next time: take care, be well,

see you soon.
