Note Taker Video - Duration: 1:31.

We're going to discuss the process to becoming a note taker.

The first thing that you need to do is come in and fill out a note taker contract.

You will then have a couple of options on how you will take notes.

The ultimate goal is to have a process that works best for both the note taker and the

student receiving notes.

One option is a carbonless copy notebooks that the DAS office will provide.

You will take notes like you normally do and at the end of class you will take the second

page which is a copy and give that to the student that is needing them.

Another option is to take your notes on regular paper as you normally would then you can scan

them in at the DAS office and email them to the student or you can make copies of them

and give them to the student needing notes.

In some cases the student needing notes will want to remain anonymous.

If this is the case at the end of class you'll need to either give the notes to the instructor

or get them to the DAS office and we'll get the notes to the student needing them.

At the end of the quarter you will need to come in and fill out a note taker invoice

so we can process payment.
