Swedish Weapons | Depictions in video games - Duration: 12:11.
The real m/45 is full auto only, this is an error that we'll see in a few more games.
No idea what the fuck the bolt is doing.
Nice that the trigger finger is animated.
Holding the magazine is bad.
The gun appears to be closed bolt here, which is wrong.
This one looks a bit small, and it commits the error of having a semi-auto fire mode.
These sights are more misaligned than a British persons teeth.
The firing animation depicts the gun as closed bolt, but the reload shows it being open bolt.
There shouldn't be a fire selection sound since the CBJ-MS has a progressive trigger.
The drum should hold 100 rounds, but in game it holds 50+1, presumably for balance reasons.
Misaligned sights, reeeee.
The magazine incorrectly holds 4 more rounds than the real one.
The rear sight notch is too open, but that applies to all weapons in BFV.
Note how the character puts on the safety before reloading, this is to avoid getting your fingers caught in the bolt.
Nothing to really critique here, just a good depiction.
You can also use detachable magazines via an upgrade.
No need to enable the safety here since you don't get your fingers near the bolt.
Fire selector doesn't move, but that's a minor detail.
You can tell that this is an original AK5 and not a modified AK5C because it uses STANAG magazines.
Also, the original AK5 didn't have a bolt release, so this is correct.
The fire selector is actually animated which is nice.
Here's the high-powered ammunition that the Pointman class has access to in Warfighter.
The bolt doesn't lock back on the last shot.
The gun isn't loaded here.
Sorry
This was the only instance of the AK5D in a video game I could find, and it happens to be the worst depiction.
The recoil just pushes the gun up completely straight.
And when you scope, the audio comes from the left ear. For some fucking reason.
The real AK5D doesn't have burst-fire.
Relod no good
When you fire in full auto the gun just shakes about like you're having a seizure.
I don't know about you, but I would feel a bit uneasy having that huge block of steel fly back into my face while shooting.
You shouldn't have to push the bolt forward, since inserting a shell into the magazine does that automatically.
The Carl Gustaf in this game actually simulates backblast, which is nice.
The rockets are guideable for some reason.
The gun is incorrectly called the M2 in game.
It can also lock onto targets hit with a tracer dart which is stupid.
Why does it shoot 2 rockets without reloading.
The rocket is loaded through the muzzle for some god forsaken reason.
This depiction is really good, as expected from Insurgency: Sandstorm.
Ok, don't open the launcher just throw an invisible rocket in there yeah thats good
Where did the casing go
The front and rear grips are also swapped in Far Cry 5.
You can see that this is the Swedish version of the M136 by the foregrip.
The Pansarskott m/86 doesn't have a tracking feature.
By far the best depiction of the AT4.
It even shows the adjustable sights.
Putting on the safety is a nice touch.
Nothing really wrong with this depiction, but how can you carry 3 launchers on your person?

What is perfect tense? Video two. - Duration: 8:00.
This is one of my favorite explanations because I am very fortunate to have many
Brazilian students, and my Brazilian students come to class with a lot of
frustration. So let me tell you how I've explained it to them, and how I have been
getting results. Remember, this is a long video. If you haven't watched part one, I
really recommend you do get the idea, and then let's carry on. Don't forget there's
a blog that has the whole thing laid out for you, so if you have any problems you
can pause the video, and read the text. I wanted to make sure that it was very
very clear, and that it had everything you needed. When I was a little girl, I
hated cleaning my room, so I always was looking for excuses, and my mother would
be like: "clean your room" A-ha. "Clean your room" uh-huh. So my mother would
finally say: "Leslie clean your room". And I would be like: "Can I do it after
the show?" And she would be like: "I don't care! I'm going to work, when I come back
that room has to be clean. So just get it done! I don't care when you do it! I don't
care how you do it. Just do it". And here what we do is we
focus on the action, we don't care when it happens, but we care about that action.
Simple tense worked more about giving information. Progressive tense worked
about time. Perfect tenses is like: I don't care. I just don't care. I just want to make sure
that that action is done. So here we select perfect tense. This is a simple
memory trick that I recommend for my students: you have to do something, right?
That action? So use have, but the verb has to participate, so you use participle.
Haha. See the trick there? So subject have, has or had, verb in participle and any other information
that is relevant. First reason to use perfect tense. So let's begin with a very,
very simple example which is: the task list. Adam has
a series of events he has to do. When he finishes one, he goes on to the next one.
He has to open the office, he has to check his voicemails, etc, etc. When he has
finished two, and he is doing the third one, the first two - we can use perfect tense.
Adam has opened the office Adam has listened to his voicemail, and now he is
checking his emails. So we go from present perfect to present progressive.
The other way that I use present perfect is when I want to give an excuse. Now if
I have a project, and I have two weeks, and I didn't do it, and I did at the last
possible moment. I don't want people to know that I didn't do it with time. An
example: I do it the last two days, and my teacher says: "Leslie, how is your project
going? "Oh I've done the introduction and the analysis. I'm working on the last
part." "Good job Leslie. I'm glad you didn't
leave it for the last moment". Me: "Nah! Of course not". The idea here is that I want to be ambiguous.
I don't want my teacher to discover that I didn't actually do it with time. So I'm
shifting the attention from when I did it, to doing the action. Another way that
I use the perfect tense is when I want to explain that this is a promise that
is kept, that it hasn't changed. So if my dear Adam is telling me: "Leslie, why are
you talking to other people?" And I'm like: "Whatever". And he's like: "Are you, ah, do you like him?
Tell me the truth". I would be like: "I've never cheated on you." That
means from the beginning of our relationship until now, this event has
never happened. So again, I want to make sure that time details are irrelevant, I
just want to confirm that the action is the same. The action is my focus. A final
example is bragging. Bragging is you want to say haha I do this, I do that,
but you don't want to really want to give a lot of details. Like, I've drunk tequila,
whiskey and vodka, all in the same party. Right? Check, check, check.
So why don't I want to put it in past tense? Because I want to make sure that
it looks like I do this all the time.
Like I am so cool
I drove a Ferrari when I was 18. That's a specific moment, and I don't have access
to the car anymore. Of course I have driven expensive cars.
Like, hello! What do you think you are? I do this all the time! So I've gone
to Paris means action done. Twice. But I'm leaving it open to maybe doing it again.
You see it's a lifestyle. When I say I went to Paris, it means the action is
finished, it's like information and not necessarily that I want to repeat it, or
I can repeat. The last thing is when you're annoyed or bothered. And this is
when we link present perfect, present simple, and some people refer to it as
the past of present. So, the perfect tense becomes the past of the simple tense, and
again they are linked, so I have lost my keys, I don't know when I lost my keys, I
don't know how I lost my keys. I don't care about the details, what I care is -
I don't have my keys, and there I cannot open the door, so I can't open the door
because of this past action. I'm here to give another example that is similar:
when girls are drinking, and one girl says to the other: "Hey make sure that I
don't call my ex-boyfriend". And you're like: "Yeah". And you take her phone, and
then later she takes the phone, and you're like: "Oh my God. She has taken the
phone. Where is she?" This is a perfect moment, you don't know
when she took the phone, you know the phone was taken.
I made a small little summary where I say: experience until now. Have we met before
at any time in the past? Second, some type of event that affects my current status. No
coffee for me. I've had some before. An ongoing situations. I have lived in
this apartment. So I have done it in the past, I continue to do it in the present
and maybe I will do it in the future, but it's not really about the details
it's about: check, I've lived in apartment. I haven't lived in a house. And this is
my final explanation, and this really helps specially my students that speak
Portuguese. I consider present perfect like many
young boys wanting to lose their virginity. They don't care how they do it,
they don't care where they do it, they just want to do the action. So all the
details are irrelevant, it's about the action. So this is a perfect example of
present perfect versus simple tense. Simple tense would give you all the
information. Perfect tense would be like: Yeah, I am no longer a virgin. Yes, dude,
dude! In summary: present simple - giving information, retelling sequence of events.
Progressive talking about a focal point or expanding time. Perfect says details
are irrelevant, let's focus on: is the action done? Or not done? So if the action
is very important, we use perfect tense.

What is progressive tense? Video one. - Duration: 8:15.
Hi guys. We begin at the progressive tense, we go into the perfect tense, we go into
the future, and then we finish with conditionals. So it's going to be a long
explanation, but it will cover a lot of your questions. I can guarantee this! I
have seen this over, and over, and over; so get a big sandwich, a lot of water, if you
need to pause me, read. Remember there is a blog you can read the blog, as always
any questions let me know, and here we go. Take your time,
listen to this, check it out. Let's go!. So let's begin with a very simple concept:
Why do humans communicate? One is to give information, and two is to talk about
their lives, right? Let's start with the first concept: giving information. An
example is: my name is Leslie, and I teach English. Those are just facts. We also use
it to explain routines. For example, he brushes his teeth three times a day. So
when do we select the simple tense? Most of the time when we are telling a
sequence of events. For example, he woke up. He brushed his teeth. He ate breakfast.
And he went to work. One, two, three, four. We also use the simple tense just to
talk about data. An example is Hitler was born in Austria, and he died in Berlin.
Those are facts. Simple tense is or isn't. I eat an apple every morning. It's a fact. I
ate an apple. The apple is finished. In English, we structure our sentences. We
begin with a subject, then we go to a verb, and finally we end in a compliment.
When we give this information, like Adam drank milk in a glass yesterday. Adam,
drink, milk, glass, and yesterday are relevant information.
What Adam drinks is more important that what he uses to drink the liquid, and all
the information, like, where, when and why are left at the end of the structure. It
is important to note that, if the drinking in the glass is more important
than the milk, we changed the order so we can say: Adam drank in a glass milk,
because for us maybe drinking in a glass, and not drinking from the carton, is more
important. Anything important is put to the left of the structure, so why do we
choose not to use present simple if most of the time simple past and simple
present give most of the information we need?
Well, when time is more important. Let's begin with a really easy one, and that is
now, we are shifting the focus from just giving information, to explaining that it
is at this moment .So I'm bringing all the attention to a focal point: I am
speaking right now. To be able to shift this sentence, we use the verb to be, that
I consider a super verb, just to remember, so we change, we put our subject, we put
the verb to be: am, are, is, was, were; we change the verb to be able to use that
super power, so we put that ing, and then we give the rest of the information, so
Alex is swimming in the ocean, so remember don't forget to put the
double M, if it's a consonant vowel consonant because you need more
consonants in this party for some reason. I don't know, but just remember you need
more for the party. I give you an example of when talking to a person that's affected
by the action they are doing at this moment. So if I call Adam, and I say "Hey,
what are you doing? Wanna hang out?" And he's like:
"I can't hear you. I'm running in a marathon". Then I would say "What? Why? oh no
matter, enjoy. Talk to you later." Right? Adam can't
talk to me right, now because he's running
maybe later he will talk to me, but at that moment it's causing a problem. The
second reason we use the progressive tense, and not the simple tense, is when
we want to give context or background. Now, a good example is when you are
walking down the street, so you're explaining what is happening, what is the
background and then boom! A car crashes into a light post. So we are expanding
the first action in order to interrupt it with the second action. Here is a
series of examples that apply: I watched TV and then ate an apple, so one - we watch
TV and then we eat the apple. Series of events. The second one: I was watching TV
when I ate the apple. So watching TV takes longe, eating the apple is fast,
and in the third one: I was watching TV while I was eating an apple, basically
they're simultaneous. So I'm biting, watching, biting, watching, biting, watching;
so this situation becoming simultaneous allows me to explain that they both took
a long time. Some actions are difficult to do for a very long time, you can't be
slamming the door because when you do a slamming of the door, there is energy.
When you close the door that you can do slowly, so the things that you cannot
usually do slowly are: slamming the door, smashing the window, and ha ha ha, don't
forget check out the blog. You'll understand. And the last reason that I
often use progressive time is when I want to exaggerate, when I want to
explain how hard it is, and how long it takes, so this is about an action that
begins in the past, continues in the present
and most likely will continue after our conversation into the future, a very
bloody long time. An example is: she is studying medicine. It takes a long time to
study medicine, it doesn't necessarily mean that at this moment you're studying
medicine, it just means that it's a long time. My perfect example is: we are
building a house. You're not actually building it, but you are explaining that
it takes a long time and investment to make a house. Now, when I talk about
progressive tense, I like to talk about the way my father exaggerates when he
retells his story. When he goes shopping. It's like boom-boom-boom two stores and
I'm out of there. With my sister, she's always going store
to store, she's always trying new things, she's always asking for the opinions of
other people, etc, etc; so I left a small story there, and you can understand why
he would choose to use simple tense when he is describing his shopping experience,
and why I would use progressive tense with when he complains about my sister.
Now, just as a side note, my sister really does shop a lot, and takes a long time.
So I hope this was clear and I hope it helps.
Now, let's remember that this is video one. The next one is perfect tense, so
let's summarize: one - we give data, we talk in present simple. Two - we want to
prolong the action, or we want to focus the action, both connected to time, we use
progressive tense, and now we can move on to perfect tense. Bye.
