GCLOG 2019 - Testimonial Video - Alessandro S Silva - Duration: 1:44.

You know, I had never thought of studying at MIT before, but

it was really like a life-change experience.

Hi, my name is Alessandro Silva and I'm gonna share with you a bit of my

experience with the GCLOG program here at the MIT.

When I first heard about the GCLOG, I was very excited about the possibility of studying here. This is

the kind of dream you think will never be possible, but I suddenly saw that

it could come true, so why not to try?

I sent all the required documents for

the application and recorded my video statement. And after a period of time

waiting for the answer, I received the so expected email, you have been approved!

Classes at MIT are very intense, it's really hard work, but definitely it pays off.

The course had lectures with top professors involving a diversity of subjects.

We had the opportunity to have contact with the most advanced technology in the Supply Chain in the world.

We studied many interesting cases.

We discussed several relevant issues. We also did several works in groups,

which were composed of professionals from different countries.

Part of the group work involved even outdoor challenges

in which we could improve teamwork and leadership skills.

But it was not only about hard work.

Despite the high intensity of the activities, we also had time to relax a bit.

I had the opportunity to make new friends and have fun with them.

Being part of the GCLOG program was not just about the knowledge I got,

but also about the life experience I had.

That's why I tell you, if you have a dream, run after it.
