Waching daily Jan 1 2019

there is a good chance that you are watching this video on 1st January 2019

so happy New Year to all of you I hope 2018 was a blast for you at least for me

it was pretty good good in terms of career opportunities career growth

artistic development and a lot of things claybrush productions it happened to me

in 2018 this video is not going to be about a lot of talking so I'm going to

throw a video right in your faces this is a time-lapse video which I

have done yesterday the drawing which I am doing in this time-lapse video is

truly the last drawing of 2018 from me cheers to that

because I think it is pretty good so while you are enjoying this time-lapse video I will

continue with my talk so I have written some points on this list because every

time I try to talk to this camera I forget what I was actually going to say

so this list is pretty handy in here so the first thing first

what do I exactly who I work as an individual artist I live in India

I do illustrations and drawings I do animations, animations of different kinds

like stop-motion animation clay animation and everything related to

animation but not 3d animation, I do photography and filmmaking seldom I do

paintings I do designing logo design and several kind

of designs like a book cover or something like that and I have been

working with a lot of good people they are professionals and they have been

supporting me and I'm really grateful to all of them so we'll every new year we

have new resolutions with us I'm pretty sure that you have made yours if you

want to know my resolution keep watching this video because this is about my

resolution only. which is keep practicing I realize that

the improvement of curve my graph was stagnant so I wanted to go it like this

and it was going like that October 2018 when I took inktober Challenge

I realized that I needed to do that every day not only the month of October

so since that day I have been practicing drawing each and every day and after

three three months... I think I have improved a bit but I have that's a reality I

can see myself making strokes more confidently I'm feeling pretty good

about this so that is the only resolution I am

going to carry forward in 2019 and I'm going to make at least one sketch

everyday and if you are an artist and you are watching this video

I would suggest you to do the same you want to see yourself happier I would say

satisfied with your own self so practice is must, My future plants if you have

watched any of my previous videos you know I have been talking about a website

or a portal which I am working on it's for artists for creators for buyers as

well because it has an art shop it has a portal where you can go and buy your

favorite Huion tablets and you won't have to pay anything extra for

that I'll make sure of it I think I should not be talking about it much

because it's still not live so the day it comes over the internet the day it is

available we'll talk about that later but yes I am working on such kind of a

website I hopefully okay so if you are wondering

which kind of a work I have done you can go to the link which is right in the

description it's a Behance link or Behance

whatever you want to call it some of my illustration and artworks are there some

of my Animations are already in this channel clear brush productions you

can go to the playlist animator on acid so that the animations which I have

created for myself for my own fun joy purpose but there are a number of

commercial animation which I have done like for absolute for KFC and all of

those which are I think not available online some of them are available I'll

try to find them and put the link in the description so you can also watch them

yes I am also available on Facebook and Instagram again the links are in the

description so you can just go and click the links follow and send me a message

and that was a high five I hope you liked the sketch which I have

done in this video I am also going to talk about this in my future videos

because there this is the new setup which I have installed on one of my

studio walls it's a big drawing roll which I have placed right on the top and

I pull it down I draw on it and I practice basically this setup is only

for doing practice like I said practice every day so sketchbooks number of

sketchbooks are there and lose sheets are there but I really enjoy

drawing on the wall yeah I don't know it gives a little freedom to your shoulder

and your elbows it actually brings back a lot of memories from my childhood so

I'm also going to show you how to do such kind of setup in your own studio if

you want to practice on a big sheet of paper or anything like that if you like

Studio Tour | Video Workbench: The Scale Model Show - Duration: 16:37.

Well we're here in the Video Workbench studio where I put together all my model

kits and work on various projects for clients that are usually on commission.

I'm going to show you around the studio and show you what I'm currently

working on and a kit that I'm finishing up on. I'm also going to show you

some items that I will be reviewing from Iwata airbrush and from a couple other

companies so let me show you around the studio.

As you can see I took my camera off and you know kind of free-floating right

now so I'm going to take the camera off of myself and show you around and what

I'm doing.

Okay right now (let me get back here) I'm working on actually finishing up the

Incredible Hulk that Dragon Models made for the Avengers

movie. Let me get a little close here, show you pretty much the paint job is

complete. A lot of the color here is kind of washed out because of the various

lights that I have overhead for filming and for making videos and taking

pictures. Get a little closer here... You can see there's some color variation in the skin

going up to the face. And I'm working on a custom base. And the base that came

with it was very boring. So what I decided to do was make my own base.

All I did was I took some heavy card stock and I went all the way around

the perimeter of the base with the card stock, and I cut it to about, I

believe that's about a quarter inch, and I took some stone from what would be

used for a fish tank. I used that as a base and kind of as filler. And what is I

took some Durham's water putty and filled it in I mixed that up add it to a

nice consistency and then I dumped it in to the mold along with the rocks and let

that set for a day or two and I flipped it over and this is what you get. You get

a nice pot mark look. Basically what this is going to look like, it's going to look

like a street. And I ground in some cracked marks, make it

look like the street was cracked when the Hulk came down. And I built up over

here for the left leg and for the right leg, some more stone that I had glued

along with some coffee grounds, so that it kind of smooths out once I put the

primer on and then I will paint it to make it look like a street. And this is

going to, the stones are going to look like something a little bit

different to give it some color so it's not completely black or black speckled

white like asphalt looks. There's going to be some ground showing underneath

some brown so there is some color contrast so it's just not a boring black

street. You know this is made to look like the Hulk came down really fast and

hard and wrecked the street because of his weight. So right now the Hulk is

almost finished and hopefully that will be done within the week. Then over

here, on my workbench, let me show you what my workbench looks like. This is my

main workbench.

Over here, I have another tripod and as you can see I also have a mirror and

that mirror will be used for behind the camera so that I can see because the

screen doesn't flip out at all. Over here I have another camera with a mirror so

that I can have new overhead shots while I'm working. So be very, very nice.

Various paint brushes, cleaners and thanks to Tom

Grossman from Tag-Team Hobbies he sent me a few things to review and to make

videos out of and one of them is the Iwata tabletop cleaning station. Now I do

have a cleaning station, but it is very old and very used, very well-loved and

it's pretty much run its course. So Tom Grossman over at Tag-Team Hobbies

was nice enough to send me a sample that I can review right from the box. Alright

here are a few items that I'm going to be reviewing. I'll be reviewing the Excel

sprue cutter, which I got for a really good deal, so I couldn't pass it up. And I

needed a bigger and better sprue cutter than what I was using. I have various

items from Flux-a-File. I have the Flex set which is a bunch of

different types of Emery boards and a sanding stick that takes sanding strips

that will be reviewed hopefully soon.

I have the touch-n-flow system to review for plastic model kits.

That's something I'm looking forward to. I have the, let's see if I can get a

close-up here, the CA applicator by Flex-a-File to review.

I have micro brushes from Alpha Abrasives.

And ultrafine waterproof finishing kit professional hobby pack that we'll be

reviewing also. Oh yeah, I also have these. I have plastic sanding needles, that'll be

nice to review. And then I have various air brushes by, Iwata which was sent in

by Tom Grossman again. And this will be the HP B+. Not going to open it yet. So I

want that for the review. And let's see, the Eclipse CS. That'll be another one to

review. Then I have three different ComArt color kits. Alright I have the real deal weathering kit, the creature paint kit,

and the real deal scenery paint set. All right when we come over here to my other

workbench, which I have three time machines and various parts basically, in

various stages. I also have parts up here of the three time machines and I have

armrests parts over here for the three time machines.

I have bases, generators and chairs here. I have cones here that go on the side.

Now two of the time machines that I'm working on will be lit and working and

one will be static. Over here, I have three disks. Now the disks I have already

painted but I come to find out that I want it of course for the clients to

have more accurate colors and I found out what the accurate colors are. So I

plan on repainting them. Now the thing is too, is that I found out that,

these are very warped and what I'm trying to do is make them so that they

pretty much work better and they look better. Which is, you know, it's a garage

kit and I'm trying to do the best that I can.

A lot of people have had problems with the time machine by Masterpiece Models,

is because it's such an elaborate kit. More paints.

Various parts of past time machines. Water colored paints and pretty much

what my studio looks like. Now beyond the sheet there that's the rest of the

basement where I'm at. And on the other side of there is the furnace and and

whatnot so eventually I hope to be replacing this sheet which by the way it

keeps all the heat in with the heater that I have down here which you may hear

every once in a while when I'm recording in the winter keeps all the heat in

keeps it nice in here helps with drying paint. Here's my little collection of

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle original artwork by Kevin Eastman who I met a few

years ago at Wizard World in Chicago and I have a couple pictures here of him

drawing one of the photos or one of the pictures excuse me. And I have some

original Iron Man artwork here. Turn around here.

Original oil painting of a dragon that I had picked up at Wizard World in Chicago

also. And here's one of my two tripods along with some lighting to help

in here. I have to have a good amount of light for both working and for recording

But I don't want to drown myself out either. So as you can see I have lights

in the ceiling. I have shop lights. I actually have two

shop lights above my main workbench. Along again with the camera and then I

also have a light underneath the upper shelf of my workbench so that I have no

dead areas where it's too dark. And there's my trusty Iwata airbrush that I

use all the time and it's been really nice. I've used Badgers for a long time

and I won this Revolution CR airbrush at a model competition when I

won an award it came along with this airbrush. And I've been hooked on Iwata

air brushes ever since. So it'll be really nice to review all the things

that Iwata and Tag-team Hobbies had sent me.

And that's pretty much it that's pretty much the 10-cent tour of the Video

Workbench studio. A couple pieces over here that I missed. Here's an an

original Tim Vigil watercolor of Faust which is one of his very well known

comic book characters very violent and bloody comic book. Few pictures of Jack

Skellington that my daughter Meghan did. And a nice framed picture of Ralph

McQuarrie artwork of original Star Wars. Couple Godzilla pieces. And I have a door

that leads to the outside which is very, very nice at one time in this house this,

what I use as a studio used to be a business office basically. That's about

it give you the tour of the video workbench

studio and showing you what I'm finishing up on which is the Hulk

modeled by Dragon. And three time machines. And during the time of working

on all of these of course you know I work so I try to get to these as much as

I can when I am able. And I greatly appreciate the three clients that I have

with time machines they have been very, very patient and I greatly appreciate

that thank you very much and thank you for your business. They are tough models

and it takes a while to to work with them. And I know a few people that have

worked with them and they know what I'm talking about and

when you're doing three at a time it takes three times as long as

unfortunately. And also, there's a lot of work that needs to be done on those time

machines because they are resin kits and depending upon how they're cast, it

can be a challenge and these are my fourth, fifth and sixth time machines that

I'm working on. So even though I've worked on them before, you know sometimes

depending upon how they're sent and how they're made, can depend upon how fast it

takes to make them. So it's been a while and I'm hoping to get them done very

soon. Again thank you to my clients for being very patient I greatly appreciate

it. And I hope that you've liked the 10-cent

tour of the Video Workbench studio where all the models are made.
