Today we're talking about how to turn you viewers into potential customers.
Whether you're doing a video on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, how do you actually turn
those viewers into people who want to potentially buy from you?
This is really important and often a huge misstep because you're creating great video
content but then what are you doing with that audience?
I'm going to show you my top three lead generation tactics in this video.
Tactic number one is free consultation.
When I started my business and I needed to get customers, I would offer free consultations,
free 15 minute consultations at the end of my livestreams.
When you don't have a team to help you create your videos or maybe you don't have the time
yet in your business to create pre-produced videos on YouTube, a great way to get started
in building your business and your brand is using livestreaming.
Especially on Facebook because it's the world's biggest social media platform with the world's
biggest audience so you know you're going to get reach there.
All you need to do is teach something, share something of value, position yourself as the
expert and at the end of your livestreams tell people, "Hey if you liked this information
and you potentially want to work with me, I would love to offer you a free 15 minute
consultation.
Here's my phone number, here's my contact information, get in touch and let's get started."
That is the easiest way to turn your viewers into potential customers.
Tactic number two is a freebie or an opt-in or a lead magnet.
There's so many different ways that you can say this or so many different names to call
them.
But all it is is some sort of download that gets people subscribed to your email list.
Because your email list is your highest converting community of potential customers online.
Building your email list for an online business is the most vital step to actually generating
profit.
How do you build your email list?
It's pretty simple and you guys have actually seen how I've done this with my videos over
the years.
At the end of most of my videos I will give you more value with some sort of a freebie,
opt-in or lead magnet.
For example, if you watch my video on how to get more views on YouTube, at the end of
the video I give you my complete Views While You Snooze YouTube SEO guide or checklist.
You can download that below the video.
When you download it you get added to my email list and then every week I send out free content
to my email list to continue to nurture that relationship.
Then when I have I something to sell, I have this built in targeted audience of potential
customers.
It's really that simple.
Tactic number three is quizzes.
We've just started doing this in our business and it's a great way to qualify your leads
to make sure that they're actually very much so ready and interested for whatever it is
that you're going to be offering as a paid offer.
What we did is we created a quiz about if you're ready to start using YouTube that would
lead people into a funnel that would eventually get them into a webinar to sell them our product
which is YouTube for Bosses, which is our paid course.
It's a great way for people to get in the door and figure out, are they actually ready
to start using YouTube or not?
And pre-qualify them before they go down the sales funnel.
We use a tool called interact quiz builder.
This is becoming a much more popular tool to qualify your leads in the online space.
You want to just get started out with this, you can try setting up a quiz on the platform
and just send it out to your email list or post it on social media and it will help to
pre-qualify your leads and every time someone takes the quiz they do get added to your email
list as well so it's a great list building tactic too.
Remember once you have got these leads and you're capturing leads in these different
ways, it is your job and your responsibility to treat them with respect.
Don't spam them and nurture their relationship, offer them free content and be of value and
service to them.
You don't have these leads just to sell to them all the time.
You'll be ignored really quickly and treated as basically a spammer pretty quickly if all
you're doing is just selling.
Treat your leads with the utmost respect.
