Hi Everyone, it's Karen

and I'm here to tell you a little about this Patreon page that I've created.

Ever since I was 16 I've been writing off and on

and painting and

It's been the thing that I've wanted to do with my life

But, I haven't done that.

There have been other things

that I've felt

were necessary to do

and one of those things was to

go to the former Soviet Union and work

with children in institutional care

and that started my journey on the road to becoming an art therapist

As an art therapist

I use art and writing in a therapeutic context

So at this point I am also studying to be a social worker

which I do not like ....at all....but I'm doing it

because in the future I may need it to get a 'tick' from the government to be

able to practice independently

and art therapists aren't qualified to do that in Australia so

my idea is to keep writing in these next 18 months, even ...

which is how long its going to take for me to

finish my studies and I want to give you an opportunity to take part in that

some of the rewards that I am adding to my page have to do with YOUR own creativity

and inspiring you on your creative journey

and as a qualified art therapist I'm going to offer some techniques of rejuvenation for

creative inspiration to you
