Here's some important best practices for boosting SEO for video.

The most important thing to keep in mind when starting your video SEO efforts is to make
sure your are using keywords that truly represent the material contained in the video.
Trying to gain the system by using keywords that are popular, but not relevant to your
content may get you a few extra clicks to begin with but will ultimately serve to piss
off your viewers and damage your YouTube authority.
To that end, it's also important to think critically about the keywords and phrases
people are actually using to search for content like yours.
Then use that to your advantage by including it in your tags, titles, and descriptions.
It goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway.
When it comes to success in your video SEO and video marketing efforts in general, it's
essential for all of your video content to be high quality, relevant, and useful.
Just as you need to research which keywords and keyword phrases to include, you also need
to determine the needs of your target audience.
What are they already searching for?
What's missing from the content surrounding that topic?
What are their goals?
What are their pain points?
Once you have confidently determined what they're looking for, you can better develop
relevant content that will speak to them and their needs.
