Waching daily Nov 5 2018

Hello and welcome

to this demonstration

of the next generation of ACES.

Over the past year LSAC

has talked to over a hundred schools

to find out what you need

in an admissions database of record.

Because of the research

the system has been

radically redesigned

to keep the features you love,

adding functionality you need,

and making everything easy to use.

In this first video

we will do an overview

of some of the foundational changes.

To start,

let's explore the redesigned homepage

and the main navigation.

The home screen displays

information about your school's

process and progress in an

easy-to-read graphic format.

The notifications area displays

alerts for various system events.

These notifications can be customized

to your needs and is controlled

by the system administrator.

Dismiss them when you want

to keep your workspace clear.

The LSAC news and alerts

section ensures that you

never miss an important update.

When you have reviewed

your notifications close the section

to clear your workspace.

The main section shows you

the data you consider important

for daily review.

For this example,

LSAC Law School is interested

in their funnel and displays

the information to system users

to keep them informed.

Drill down into the information

or change the display based

on your personal preference.

Access your personal

user settings quickly.

Change your password

or your preferences.

Administrators can access

the global school level settings

easily through the Admin menu.

Add users, set roles and permissions,

create file routing rules,

edit global system settings,

and reset passwords.

At the top of the screen

you will notice the navigation

for the next generation of ACES

has been simplified.

The system is now configured

to group like tasks

into functional areas.

Let's explore those

areas quickly.

In the people section,

you can search for and manage

the people in your database,

including prospective applicants,

deferred students, waitlist,

and current applicants.

In communications you can

create email and drip campaigns,

access and run CRS queries,

and view email analytics.

Events is where you manage

previous and upcoming events,

attendee lists, and post event

information to a website

or campaign.

In the applications section

you can manage and access

all the applications

for the current cycle.

All transmitted applications

appear in this area with

accompanying documents ready to

verify and prepare for review.

Manage your review process

with lists of applications

in various stages of review

that you can sort and filter.

Assign decisions,

administer scholarships,

and manage review committees

all in one location.

Manage the list of active

reports for your school,

access current reports,

create new ones,

and publish to your home page.

The next fundamental change

is the use of lists.

The system is now designed

to push information to

relevant areas eliminating

the need to pull reports

for tasks like emails

and review process administration.

With search results

returned in context

you can start to select,

refine, or sort the list

as you see fit.

You can also group information.

The actions button in each

list allows you to perform

some contextual behaviors on

list selections,

such as editing a group

of people without leaving

your task area.

Once you have narrowed

the list and formatted the table,

you can save the search

for quick access later.

You can also set

a custom view as the

default for the page.

Customization allows your

school spirit to shine through.

The next generation of ACES

is coming soon.

Stay tuned for additional

demos that will dig deeper

into the functionality.

Dante Fowler Gets Destroyed by Mark Ingram (Video) | Heavy.com

The Los Angeles Rams have the opportunity to utilize their new defensive end this weekend against the New Orleans Saints.

It hasn't even been more than a week since Dante Fowler Jr.

joined the Rams through a trade, and he is already taking the field and finding himself getting a significant amount of snaps.

Through one half, the Rams aren't looking like the same team that has looked like all season long.

The Saints are working them on the road as the Super Dome seems to continue to play a factor in the game.

Although the expectations for Dante Fowler weren't exactly sky-high, the Rams were hoping that he could be a nice addition to their already dominant defensive front.

So far, Fowler hasn't exactly taken over the game.

This will be a grace period for him since he's only been in the defense for a few days, but his one tackle has been underwhelming in his start.

Not to mention, he got completely blown up by New Orleans Saints' running back, Mark Ingram.

Fowler believed that he had a clear lane to get to the quarterback, but Ingram taught him a lesson quickly.

Check it out. Ingram: The Pass Protector.

Seahawks Celebration Is Best of NFL Season Thus Far (VIDEO) | Heavy.com

There's something to be said for putting in a bit of extra time, hard work and dedication to your craft.

And for the Seattle Seahawks, that meant locking down arguably the best celebration of the 2018 NFL season.

While the Seahawks came up short against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9, they did win the hearts of many general football fans with one moment.

The effort by all four wideouts – Doug Baldwin, David Moore, Tyler Lockett, and of course Brown is nothing short of spectacular.

Credit to Baldwin for holding down the front spot of the celebration as well.

Disappointing Finish for Seahawks, but Reason for Optimism.

The celebration loses a bit of its luster due to the fact that the Seahawks fell to the Chargers 25-17 after Moore failed to haul in a last-second pass in the end zone.

Even with that said, the game should leave some optimism for Seahawks fans.

Specifically, Doug Baldwin looked arguably the healthiest he has all season, hauling in all four of his targets for 77 yards.

Running back Chris Carson, who has taken over as the team's workhorse back was forced from the action early due to injury, but looked good once again in limited action.

It was unknown if Carson would even play in this game, but he tallied 40 rushing yards on just eight carries, showing his hot run in recent weeks is no fluke.

The Seahawks fell to 4-4 on the season and have a tough task ahead when they travel to take on the Los Angeles Rams, who are coming off their first loss of the season.

A win could be crucial for Seattle, as it's one of a few tough games down the stretch for this team.
