Hi there! We are starting a new series about the Ubiquiti UniFi Video solution, detailing it's hardware and software
features, deployement and operation.
Let's start with the "heart" of the system, which is a free to download application for Windows, Mac and Linux.
It manages our cameras and records/stores their footage.
It does not have any licensing, we can use as many cameras as we want to - for free.
If we don't have a dedicated PC or virtual environment to run the NVR software, we can use hardware solutions as well.
One solution is the UniFi NVR which has a built in 2TB drive or we can choose the UniFi Application Server
which is preconfigured with 2x2TB drives and a 120GB SSD.
There are five cameras to choose from, all of these provide FullHD footage and all models can be powered with PoE.
All models are day/night compatible with IR leds mounted into the cameras
we can also mount an IR extender to the UVC-G3 to enhance it's range.
All of the cameras use H.264 encoding.
All the cameras can be mounted both indoors and outdoors, but only the G3 Pro can withstand direct exposure to rain.
All the cameras have a built in microphone, but only the G3-Micro is capable for 2 direction voice communication
which also supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi connectivity but we can't connect to it via Ethernet although it's PoE capable.
The PoE switches make the eco system complete, because they can both power up and connect the cameras to the network.
Theres is one more small detail : the UVC-G3, UVC-G3Dome and UVC-G3Micro is availabe in a 5 pack
but the UVC-G3Pro and Flex come only in a single package.

Hi my name is Didi and I represent Lib Tech snowboard here in Austria.
Lib Tech belongs to Mervin Manufacturing, a USA based snowboard factory,
which is the most eco-friendly in the world. We do not use any poisonous materials,
poisonous glue or layering. We only use sustainable wood,
for example we only use recycled sidewalls made from our own boards as well as bio-bean top sheets.
We do all of this for the sustainability, for the nature, for our kids.
I am pleased to present to you today, our Travis Rice
Horsepower Pro. Horsepower means that we do not use fiberglass,
but instead we use basalt, a volcanic, eco-friendly material.
This makes the board lighter, we use less material,
it becomes easier to turn, easier to ride and gives
us more fun when riding. It has a classic hybrid shape,
a rocker between the bindings to ensure easier turns, playfulness
and fun when riding the slopes. We have an easy camber in the front and back
so you can achieve control at big speeds if you wish to ride agressively.
This snowboard has a blunt shape nose, but in the longer version from 160 further
it becomes pointy which is just an aesthetic feature. This is the freestyle oriented
version, mostly allmountain freestyle and the other version is allmountain freeride oriented.
Travis Rice is one of the most known snowboarders, known from
films such as Art of Flight, The Fourth Phase. A true hero and we are glad he is riding for us.
