Situated at the confluence of Sana and Una, two beautiful rivers in Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Novi Grad municipality is a little gem that adorns the northwest of our country.
It is a hospitable place with lots of greenery,
clean and healthy environment which many modern cities today dream of.
Novi Grad has its advantages, which are reflected in the fact
that it is really a big crossroad.
We have a railway station, which was the second busiest in former Yugoslavia.
The traffic of goods and passengers was really high.
We have significant natural resources and what
I must point out is our workforce, that is, human resources.
The Novi Grad municipality is located on the border with the Republic of Croatia
and occupies an area of almost 470 km² and has 48 settlements.
More than 90 percent of the territory belongs to the rural area,
which is inhabited by nearly 29,000 inhabitants.
The dominant branches of the economy are the wood processing, textile,
food industry, trade and agricultural production.
There are 151 companies and 447 entrepreneurs successfully
operating in the municipality.
The wood processing and food sector, the textile sector and
the agricultural sector give the opportunity for new and secure investments, and the great
potential of the municipality lies in tourism, mining, energy and construction.
Today we operate in 15 retail and three wholesale facilities.
Our fleet consists of 7 large trucks, the "cask" for grain delivery,
and 6 small trucks that deliver our products to the places in territory
of Una-Sana Canton, Prijedor and Banja Luka region.
As for the cooperation with municipalities, it is great.
We are pleased with the municipal administration.
The benefits of our local community
are that we are close to the EU,
and a very fast and efficient transport.
Also, our workforce is trained and has great quality.
I would point out that there is a great interest of young people to work with us.
Significant deposits of brown coal, bentonite deposits, gypsum and dolomite,
as well as increasing grain yields in Una and Sana crusts,
represent enormous potential for development of other branches of the economy.
We also have the "Poljavnice" Industrial Zone, where 30 business entities are already
doing business successfully.
Most of the land is intended for Greenfield investments,
and besides the favourable land prices and minimum fees,
there are incentives for development projects and new employment.
There are a number of business facilities that are no longer in function,
therefore they offer good opportunities for brownfield investments.
In the municipality of Novi Grad there is a border crossing
for railway traffic for international traffic of passengers,
vehicles and goods: Dobrljin (BiH) - Volinja (CRO).
The European Union is 100 meters from here.
We have a good traffic connection, the railroad and roads.
I think that is very good, and from our experience with the municipal
administration is very positive, they really helped us to begin and develop.
In the last two years we have been striving to
bring investors from European countries.
I believe that they are our natural partners.
We have finished selling all the areas in the existing industrial zone.
We are working to establish another industrial zone that will be somewhat
smaller, about 10 ha, and I think we will be able to attract
foreign investors with such offer and attitude.
Many natural beauties adorn Novi Grad, which is why tourism
is one of the major potential of the municipality.
This municipality is at the forefront of offering
unique experiences to tourists and visitors.
First of all, we have the source of Slatina - Lješnjani
thermal water, which can be used successfully to treat many skin
conditions, for post-injury rehabilitation as well as for cosmetic purposes.

Particular care is taken to preserve the tradition and customs of Novi Grad,

For what it's worth, the pump fake did leave Caldwell-Pope with virtually no chance to impact the shot.

The Nuggets went on to win this game 117-85 thanks to a dominant second half in which they outscored the Lakers by 24 points.
Murray finished tied for a team-high in points, totaling 20 on the night while shooting 8-18 from the field and 2-5 from beyond the arc.
He tacked on four assists and pulled down three rebounds for good measure.
Both Paul Millsap and Malik Beasley also scored 20 points in this game, behind only Kyle Kuzma (21) as the top scorer.
LeBron James had a rare quiet night in which he scored just 14 points on 5-15 shooting while missing all four of his 3-point attempts.
The Lakers star also managed just two assists while turning the ball over four times.
What's Ahead for Nuggets.
The Nuggets, who currently sit in third place in the West, are just one game back of first place and behind the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors.
Following the win over the Lakers, they've now won four-straight games after dropping six of seven prior to the current streak.
It's been a well-rounded effort during the win streak, as they've had different leading scorers in each of the games.
Denver will get a few days off before facing the Portland Trail Blazers in a nationally televised game on the road Friday.

Luka Doncic's Impressive Early Numbers.
It's only been 18 games, but the 19-year-old has proven why he was a top-five pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.
Doncic has posted averages of 19.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game while shooting 45.3 percent from the field.
He's also played 33.7 minutes per game and done so at a variety of positions.
In the month of November alone, Doncic has topped the 20-point mark on five occasions while hitting double figures in every game throughout the entire season.
His play has helped the Mavericks reel off wins in six of their last seven games and post a 7-3 record to this point in the month.
