a- hi! my name is akanksha sharma. r- and my name is rohini and our client name is gurpteet singh

a- today we gonna, discuss about our.... assessment skills

r - okay, so our first part is the provide some rationale for the choice of aerobic assessment used and why did you select that protocol?

okay, so between the mCAFT test and cycle ergometer test, basically we chose the mCAFT test and be honestly, actually we asked our client like what he wants to do like we explained both tests

like both cycle ergometer and mCAFT test and like he find (a - firstly) like he find mCAFT a little bit funny and so he wants to do that and

a- all of, all of .. was it's his choice and beyond that we also want him to take the mCAFT because he was the beginner (r- beginner) and we don't want him to do the cycle ergometer test

r- yeah, so that's why we chose mCAFT test basically!

the second part is... if any protocol were not administrated, provide a rationale for not including them.

so basically, according to me we include everything, right! we include every assessment, I don't think so we missed any one

a- yeah, we did all the endurance test, we did the blood pressure, heart (r- yeah) rate, height, and circumference, yeah according to me it was all good

r- we put each and every test but like from the mCAFT and cycle ergometer we chose to do mCAFT rather than this I guess we did every assessment, yeah every test we did that.

so another part is identify an instance during the appraisal process where one of the assessments til (HR, BP, aerobic, and MSE) did not go as planned

well , be honestly, everything is goes like everything (a- was planned) was planned

a- what we have discussed before (r- yeah) before we gonna enter in the class.

r- yeah every yest is like, is like according to plan, one thing i have noticed that heart rate, sorry! not heart rate it's blood pressure, actually because

umm.....

on a mCAFT test while passive recovery we have only 3 minutes right! on the passive recovery like 1st minute we have to do like heart rate and blood pressure and 2nd minute and next on the 2nd minute

we have to do ... heart rate as well so, for the first minute, 1st minute like the blood pressure is like take 1 and half minute (a-coz) yeah.

a- yeah for, for us also it was like first coaching, we never did this before (r- yeah! so) so we were also like bit confused or nervous like what to do for us the heart ra... the blood pressure

(r- little bit but not too much high) goes for yeah,

r- and that all according like its all, we got like how you get experience like, like what

a- its just what we have experienced (r- yeah) during this

r- yeah so basically the blood pressure is like take 1 and half min which is not to take and

a- we have to do take between 1 min or less than 1 min but it takes 1 and half min so (r- yeah so its like ) but its obvious because we have lots to do after doing this

r- it snot like lots to do but still its our mistake like if we have so much of experience like to do blood pressure, so obviously we can but we can't so

a- but overall we did well. r- its good rather than the blood pressure like just in the passive recovery but yeah after exercise like post heart.... blood pressure it was good. yeah! okay,

so next one is how do you think this impacted the client's experience. so basically, what client(you wanna check) okay so, what client experience is. so,

a- if according to me as he was the beginner, he was bit a nervous when he was entering the room because he never saw that room before, he was like he was asking me what you guyzz gonna do with me

but after we started the mCAFT he started enjoying.

r- yeah basically, the whole assessment he was enjoying (a- he was like) yeah,,

a- enjoying the whole assessment after half an hour he was bit confidence and he was not seeming to be confused but there was a smile on his face that everything is, everything we are doing like

well in the ( r- yeah, yeah) whole assessment

r- yeah and also after the assessment he told like whatever we got planned for him like in future he will definitely wants to do in the detail so

a- yeah again because it was really very nice coaching (r- yeah) session with him

r- yeah he also wants to do as well in his daily living (a- yeah)

a- so the next part is in the future, what could you do differently to improve your delivery of the fitness appraisal?

hmmmm..............

r- like if we think about the assessment like every test like well done but I would preferably, i would probably more focus on my timings

a- yeah me too (r- yeah) because we have to ... like we must discuss like we, we never did this before (r- yeah)

we have to do like this portion will gonna take this much amount of time (r- like very specific)

we haven't decided like how many, how much time. r- did take to attain one test (a- yeah)

R- we just go and randomly do every test. A- this is the only this we going to do better in the future. (R- yeah) and apart from this ... like its the first session for us.

R- yeah, obviously its our first session. A- we going to be more professional like in the future. R- in the future yeah, obviously we can be more professional and

A- and it all, its all depends upon the experience how much we are gaining the experience.(R- yeah, absolutely)

A- so the last one is list and explain a quality you possess or hope to develop in future that will make you a strong fitness appraiser, means a quality in something you have in you ( okay, yeah)

A- like a character you have acquired throughout your life means who are you, so.....

R- well definitely, if i am talking about me , i am very confidence what i am doing so basically who i am, i am very confident about things.

A- coz, coz you have already did the physiotherapy before so, R- yeah that's the different thing, that's a different thing so.

A- yeah, but you know, but you know how to take all, how to take measurements and about like

R- and basically i am very passionate about what i am doing. so, i am very confident about that but

A- for me.... for me like i am, i am just a student right now and i haven't did anything before... i am, i am also bit confident and honest what i am dong but it will take time

through like what we did before and what we gonna do in the future.

R- definitely, just one thing which i want to develop for improving in future is just on timing. A- Yeah, timing is the main.

R- we can adjust like this much like 1 hour with our client. A- but, but we did like in an hour we have

R- yeah, we did in an hour but still like in real like i don't think so but still, hour and 1 and half an hour is too much time, right!

A- client is not that much free for us we have to do like. R- 30 mins 45 mins, it should be okay but not an hour. right!

R- so yeah, that's all
